Anubhav remembers his Past

Hassena was going to get up when Anubhav held her wrist. Hassena closed her eyes in nervousness. Anubhav got up an pulled her a little closer. But, Hassena realised their position.

Hassena (nervously)- Sir kya kar rahe hai? Hum headquarters mein hai koi aa jayega. Please chod dijiye hume.

Anubhav (seriously)- Hassena ji, pichle ek mahine mein hum bhavnatmak rup se ek dusre ke karib aa rahe hai. Yeh na samajhne ke liye hum bacche nahi hai.

Hassena turned towards him. Anubhav left her wrist and held her shoulders.

Anubhav- Isse vishay ke upar hume aapse vartalap karni hai. Aur asha hai ki aap bina hamari puri baat sune koi bhi pratikriya nahi dengi.

Hassena looked into his eyes. The sincerity his eyes were showing were telling her mind and brain to trust him.

Hassena- Ji hum aapki puri baat sune bina koi bhi reaction nahi denge.

Anubhav- Thik hai fir suniye. (Taking deep breath) Hassena ji, hum jab pandrah (15) varsh ke the tabhi hamare pita veer gati ko prapt ho gaye the. Hume keval itna gyaat tha ki hume aab aapni pariwar ki jimmedari udhani hai aur Maa ko uss dukh se bahar nikalna hai. Tab se lekar aaj tak humne aapne baarein mein kabhi nahi socha. Koi Karan hi nahi tha aapne baarein mein sochne ka. Jab IB mein bharti hue tab bhi keval desh ke baarein mein socha.

Hassena was intently listening to him. The change in his voice and face expression could easily noticeable. His voice was heavy and his face was pale.

Anubhav- Humne aapni Maa ko Baba ke dukh mein jeete hue dekha hai Hassena ji. Aapne saathi ko khoone ka dukh bohot jyada hota hai Hassena ji. Aur uske bina aapne jeevan ki kalpana karna kathin hota hai. Usi vakt humne nishchit kar liya ki hum kabhi vivah nahi karenge.

Hassena though she knew all this things before, she was nostalgic. She remembered the day when he told her that he didn't wanted to marry. Memories flashed infront of her eyes.

Anubhav- Aur vaise bhi hum ek secret agent hai. Prem karne ki...

He paused as his head started spinning. He placed his hand on his forehead. He closed his eyes and sweat formed on his forehead as he got some faint flashbacks. He thought he said this things before to someone. Hassena noticed him. She was alerted.

Hassena- Sir, aap thik hai na. Aapko itna pasina kyu aa raha hai...

Anubhav (not okay)- Nahi Hum thik hai Hassena ji.

Hassena (literally scolding)- Kya thik hai aap? Chakkar aa rahe hai aapko haina? Kitna pasina aa raha hai. (Grabbing chair) Aap baithiye yaha.

She made him sit on chair and drank water. After some time he looked much more relaxed.

Hassena (concerned)- Aab kaisa lag raha hai?

Anubhav- Pehle se behtar.

Hassena- Hum iss baarein mein kabhi aur baat karenge. Abhi aap aram kijiye. Hum chalte hai. Lekin aram kijiye ga. (Warning) Aur khabardar jo overwork kiya toh varna aapki khair nahi.

Anubhav smiled at her concern. Her heart fluttered looking at his smile.

Anubhav- Dhanyawad Hassena ji!

Hassena smiled looking at Anubhav. He smiled back.

Hassena took a deep breath and rang the bell of Anubhav's house at night. He opened the door and was surprised to find Hassena at the door.

Anubhav- Are Hassena ji, aap iss vakt yaha?

Hassena- Ha voh aaj aapko Headquarters mein chakkar aa gaye the na toh socha ki aapki tabiyat ke baarein mein puch kar jao.

Anubhav- Hum thik hai Hassena ji, par itni raat ko aapne yaha ane ki taklif kyu li Hassena Ji. Durbhash karke puch leti.

Hassena- Par Humne socha agar personally puchenge toh accha hoga. Vaise aapki Ammi ghar par nahi hai kya?

Anubhav- Nahi Mataji toh dawai lekar aapne kaksh mein so rahi hai. Aur Aab aa ho gayi hai toh coffee pikar jaeye. Andar aaeye na.

Hassena- Ji!

They came inside.

Anubhav left for kitchen to make coffee after telling Hassena to sit on couch but Hassena followed him in kitchen telling him that she will feel bored.

In the Kitchen,

Anubhav- Hassena ji aapko yaha aane ki koi avashyakta nahi thi. Aap aram se bahar baithi toh...

Hassena (after cutting his sentence in between)- Toh hum bore ho jate.

Anubhav chuckled.

Anubhav- Vaise aap kaise coffee banati hai? Hume yakin hai ki aap humse acchi coffee banati hongi.

Hassena- (confidently) Ha voh toh hai.. (in flow) par aapne toh hamare haath ki coffee pi rakhi hai jab aap hamare ghar aye the drugs ke case ke dauran.

Anubhav stopped and looked at her in complete confusion and shock. Hassena realised what she had uttered. She slapped her forehead. She was gonna open her mouth to speak but realised that his head had started spinning again.

He was getting flashbacks of him visiting her house. But this time the intensity of the flashbacks were more, they were more clear. Sweat formed of his forehead and he pressed his forehead remembering the incidents.

Hassena- Sir, aap thik hai. Aap chaliye mere saath.

She held his shoulders and was going to go when he lost his balance and they both stumbled. Hassena landed on the side of the crockery rack and Anubhav on her. He placed his hand on the either side of her caging her between. The world before his eyes blurred.

Hassena was worried for him. She patted his cheeks in order to bring him back but he again started getting flashbacks of their coffee date. He held his forehead in his hand as his head had started paining. Hassena tried to distract him but all in vain. Soon, he black out.

When Anubhav opened his eyes, he found himself in hospital. Hassena beside him looking at him in worry. Looking at her he sat up with a jerk.

Hassena (concerned)- Are aram se Anubhav.

Anubhav saw Hassena. He was nervous and his eyes filled with tears. But, he controlled himself. The incidents from the headquarter flashed infront of his eyes.

The door of the room opened and Maa, Karishma was there. Doctor too entered.

Anubhav (hell Confused)- Maa, Karishma aap dono? Yeh sab ho kya raha hai?
