Joey walked out of his apartment, stretching his arms and yawning at the same time. It probably wasn't the best idea to have stayed up for most of the night, but he didn't have any regrets with that and getting out of bed in the early afternoon. But now he had to go downstairs to the main floor for an important reason: getting the mail. The mail doesn't come directly to each apartment in the complex. It goes to the mail room on the first floor, making everyone in the complex travel to the room to get whatever mail they got. As the boy headed to the stairway, Yusei actually was walking down the stairs to the floor that the former is on.

"Hey!" Joey exclaimed with a wave. "Is it still morning?"

"No, it's the afternoon," Yusei stated, starting to walk down more stairs. Joey decided to walk beside him and said,

"Looks like I slept the morning away. I stayed up way too late last night."

"I have to say the same for myself," Yusei admitted as he let out a slight chuckle. "What were you doing?"

"Revamping my Duel Monsters deck, just in case any baddies decide to take me on. How about you/"

"I was working on a mechanic request for work."

"In your living room? You know, you should take it easy on yourself from all that working. Work should be at the work place, not at home."

"Oh, I didn't work on it in the living room."

"Then where did you work on that mechanic request thing at?"

"In my bedroom." Joey looked at Yusei in astonishment.

"Huh?!" Joey exclaimed. "My point still counts then!"

"I know but it's difficult for me to get out of the zone when it comes to my work," Yusei said plainly as the two kept walking down the stairway. As they kept going, Felicia walked from the hall of apartment doors on her floor and went to the stairway. She glanced around briefly before noticing the boys.

"Ah hello!" Felicia smiled when she saw Joey and Yusei. "Isn't this such a lovely morning?"

"But it's thundering outside," Joey stated. "The weather forecast says that it's going to be raining most of the day."

"I know, right? It's the perfect weather to feel a bit of despair and dread. I enjoy that feeling thoroughly." Joey looked over at Yusei with a confused expression, while the latter just gave a slight shrug.

"Joey, this is the lady that brought you the lace candlestick when you and Yugi moved in," Yusei explained. "This is Felicia. Felicia, this is Joey."

"How lovely to make your acquaintance on such a fine morning as this one!" Felicia greeted with a soft smile.

"N-Nice to meet you too," Joey replied, trying to be as polite as possible. To be frank, he found the woman to be quite odd.

"Are you all perhaps getting your mail too? Why don't we all go to the mail room together? I'm sure it will be quite delightful." Joey and Yusei looked at each other with some concern before answering Felicia.

"Sure," they both said together.
