"Wait, your mom is a curator?" Joey asked Lizzy.

"Technically yes," Lizzy replied, still scrolling through the article. "But she goes around to different museums instead of staying at one museum for her work." She then sighed in relief, going to the end of the article. "The article says that she got out of the Cairo museum safely, but this is so strange. Since when did mummies become real and alive?!"

"It's the first I've heard of it," Yusei spoke, crossing his arms. "Maybe it's fake news?"

"No, this is definitely real," Yugi defended, putting his hand on his chest subconsciously.

"How would you know that?"

"Because..." Yugi took a deep, cleansing breath before he continued. It was obvious that he didn't like to talk about it. "It's because I probably know who's behind it."

"You do?" Joey asked, having no idea of who his pal was talking about.

"Yes, it's Bakura! I'm sure it's him. He is the only one that would want his revenge still."

"I don't know...Marik could still be a suspect for all we know."

"What on earth are you people talking about?" Jaden questioned the two. "Who's Marik and Bakura?"

"Ya see, Marik and Bakura can be possessed by evil spirits," Joey began, "those spirits come from the Shadow Realm, which in it of itself is spooky, and want to take over our world with the Millennium items that they have. They are Egyptian objects that are thousands of years old."

"That sounds creepy."

"So that's why you wanted information from me, huh?" Lizzy concluded, glancing up at Joey and Yugi. The latter only nodded while the former replied,

"Yup! Marik used to have the Millennium Rod and tried to take over the world with its power."

"He's better now though," Yugi added with a soft smile. "After what happened, he chose to stay away from the item that were was possessing him and changed his ways."

"What about Bakura?" Yusei asked them. Joey and Yugi shrugged as part of their response.

"We haven't heard from him since we got out of high school," Yugi admitted with a frown. "But he isn't inherently evil. It's only the spirit that's in his Millennium item that is evil: the Millennium Ring."

"Is it like a ring on your finger?" Jaden asked curiously, tilting his head a bit.

"No, it's way bigger."

"I think I found it," Lizzy announced to everyone. "There's a picture taken from one of the security cameras in the article." She held up her phone to Joey and Yugi, and they saw a boy wearing a large, circular necklace with a duel disk attached to his left arm and tons of mummies behind him. "Is that the guy?"

"Yup, that's him," Joey replied, looking at the photo. "That is totally him. I guess he's still after us, Yug."

"But why now?" Yugi spoke, glancing at the photo too. "It's been a while since everything happened. Why did he choose now?"

"No idea, dude. Maybe the real Bakura was keeping him at bay all this time."

"What does the Millennium items look like exactly?" Yusei asked. Almost the entire group had so many questions.

"Let me go get mine," Yugi said with a soft sigh, hoping that it will satisfy all the group's questions.

That's the end of the chapter part! Thanks for reading and look forward to the next one. :)
