At dusk, they pour from the sky, the summer shower abated the heat from the sun. Yuan was leaning on his old chair, fixing his vision on those raindrops falling from the rooftop of the balcony.  The sound of the rain harmonises with the water running in the bathroom, together, playing the song of nature, drowning people in their memories.

Suddenly, the water in the bathroom stop running, the bathroom door opens, Daniel with a red wine robe steps out. Yuan moves his eyes to the bathroom, looking at Daniel. Little drops of water trying to stay on his thick black hair, an ethereal mist covering his firm brown body, all just make Yuan want to love Daniel more and more.

Daniel walks towards the little old chair, where Yuan was sitting, hugs Yuan from the back, and whispers to his ears - "What were you thinking huh? "

Yuan wiggles himself a bit because of Daniel's breath  then turn himself back, facing Daniel
"Nothing, just thinking about the past a bit "

"What's wrong with the past? You seem annoyed "

" Daniel, do you still remember Andy?"

Heard the name "Andy" coming from Yuan, now it's Daniel who feels annoyed. Speaking of Andy, how could Daniel forget about that guy. Andy was Daniel's opponent since the beginning of university, even though they didn't study the same course. Daniel was a first-year law student while that guy was a first-year medical student. Thought that they would never be related to each other, then Yuan appeared, pulled them together, and assigned them to become each other's rivals.

"You mean the Andy that chased after you for the whole university time or the Andy that failed to get you from me" - Daniel lowers his voice, pretends like he doesn't remember his rival.

Yuan laughs at Daniel because of his childish words, then puts his arm around Daniel's neck, pulls him a bit closer

"Um, let's see, the Andy that had a crush on me and gave me a little present every day. Any ideas now? " - Yuan tilts his head a bit, looks closer at Daniel to see his reaction

"Ahh, what's the matter with that loser? You miss him?" - Daniel tightens his arm around Yuan's waist, uses his warm voice to tease Yuan 

"Who cares about that guy" - Yuan realises Daniel was teasing him, immediately tries to get away from Daniel's arm, and lies back down in his old chair. 

" I was thinking, back then, Andy gave me little gifts every day like roses, candy, candles. But you only gave me an apple every day. Daniel ah, sometimes I wonder if you really like me?" - Yuan is lying on his chair, crossing his arm, pretending to be a little sulky boyfriend. 

Daniel looks at his sulky boyfriend and then can't stop but laughs. He approaches Yuan again, but this time he comes in front of Yuan and takes Yuan's hand and brings it to his cheek. 

"Yuan Yuan, if you suspect my love for you just because of the apple, that will be very cold-hearted of you. Moreover, Apple is used to chase Andy away from you" - Daniel's using his nasal voice, trying to act like he was accused to get sympathy from Yuan. 

" Woa Daniel, you can't just because you know I love you then doesn't care about fighting with your love rival " - After Yuan knew that Daniel just used an apple to get rid of his enemy, Yuan feels annoyed thinking that Daniel was too confident about his love. 

"Who told you I don't care about that loser? Do you know why I gave you an apple every day back then?" 

"Isn't it because I like apples?" - Yuan replies to Daniel, thinking he would be correct

"Booo. Wrong, baby" 

"Then why?" - Yuan is surprised by Daniel's reaction, he always thought that because he likes apples, Daniel then gave him apples as presents. 

"Because an apple a day, keeps the doctor away" 

Yuan stops his movement for a bit and thinks about what Daniel just said "keeps the doctor away", Andy was a medical student, and soon become a doctor. 

"Wow, Daniel, that was a good move" 

Daniel looks at Yuan, raises his eyebrows like saying " I know I'm good" 

"But, ...it also has another meaning" - Daniel hesitates a bit. 

" What's the other meaning?' - Yuan looks at Daniel with his round shiny eyes, just like a little child's eyes waiting for something excited 

" Because...." 

"Because you're the apple of my eyes" - Daniel lower his voice as low as possible, acting like a shy little kid being asked about his secret crush 

Yuan heard Daniel's answer immediately felt better, he smiles then leans forward, and hugs Daniel, putting his face on Daniel's shoulder. 

" Then you are my Daniel, my universe"
