"DD just in case of emergency contact me" Neil was on his mobile when I entered the car. I felt bad for Neil cancelling his work for me. But I spoke nothing. I exactly didn't know what to speak.

Switching on the radio which was reciting the chat Pat talk of the town Neil wore the seatbelt igniting the engine.

"Chale" he smiled at me while I simply nodded.

"It might have been hard for you to grab a leave" I started the conversation. Part of me chided for taking this topic but my curiosity smirked at me.

"No" he refused concentrating on road. I glanced at him for a minute to find any tiny trace of him joking.

"You were instructing" I tried to keep up the conversation. If he is certainly not busy then why having phone calls for 24/7.

"That's because I am ACP of the town and I have responsibilities." His eyes still on road. "Relax Avni. It's not a challenge to get a day off" he smiled along with a tint of smirk and that's when I noticed that all this time I have been staring at him non stop. I turned out my head immediately realising the reason behind his reactions.

When did I got lost on his stubble face, I did't really know. Infact many things are happening to me without my knowledge.

Neil was never expressive about his work and it was not new for me. He uses to keep the things to himself. Infact it was me who interacted much about myself while Neil has always been an listener. Did he not have any part of story to say or did he choose not to say. I totally have no idea about it.

It took us 45 minutes to reach the destination. It's pretty far from our home but not even that much far. I can manage, I thought. As we got down I observed the place. It was a busy market place where people were rushing with their works none having time to spare a glance any any. I looked at the building. On the fourth floor the big banner read "space for rent 1000sqf"

Neil parked the car at the sideways of the busy road and I stood there ready to cross once he comes up. Suddenly Neil grabbed my hand holding my wrist and when I saw him he was busy analyzing the racing car on the road. I drifed off the thought of him holding my hand and tired to concentrating on the road. As Neil tried to step I noticed the racing car that's about to cross our path and slided my fingers with his pressing hard and he stopped. We waited until the car went away. And then we crossed successfully. And now we looked towards the right to cross the other half. As the road got free by little he pulled me as he crossed the road.

Finaly we successfully crossed the busy Mumbai roads. And exactly when Neil looked into our hands I noticed that I was still holding his fingers strongly. He just smiled as she holded yet more tighter as we moved in.

"Are you sure Avni" I was just frustrated when she was accepting the place.

"Of course Neil. This is spacious. Long enough for me to till I hold on a position in the business" she acted cool and that was the problem.

The place was too small for her to start her career. I dragged her away from the dealers to have some words with her.

"What's wrong with you Avni. We can find better place"

"But Neil this is in market place and we can get good amount customer reviews also, uper sae it's up to my budget" she added not at all listening to me. Inspite of my words she kept her jewelries for loan and now she is stepping into a low budget place.

"You always have money Avni to get something better it won't be a sin if I lend someting" I added sighing. I know she is not goanna listen. She never have listened that I could expect her now to do.

"I want this to come out of my hard work Neil. If I get things easily then I may take those for granted." She was honest with what she said.

She was afraid to give chances. I just couldn't stop adoring her. She wants to put a strong foundation on her own. When she is so ambitious it's my duty to lead her do it. What did I get to have you Avni.

"Are you sure" my voice came out into an mere whisper. "Cent percent" she blinked with a charming smile. It was breathing too.

"Unless you are there I will do it" she pressed my arms to convince me. I sighed accepting her deal. Partnership to be with her throughout the journey in return of her risky path. I would love to do that Avni. Only if she knows that.

There she walked confidently towards the dealer to confirm the registration with an advance. Her empty fingers lended the money to the landlord. Yes she stared it with her favourite ring, her neelamaa's present which was never gone but safe inside my pocket. It just spent exactly 30 minutes in the gold loan shop.

I don't care how much indirect it is. I am happy that she is happy. Let's keep this little secret within ourself. Or the lady don might kill me.
