Avni's pov

Today is my first day of our last semester in this college. Me n riya went to class n met our friends. Karan, vidyut mithali are waiting for us to come. We went to our class. Oir instructor came and told about campus placement.i was really excited.after attending classes we applied for placement and returned home. When we reached home i saw an old lady about my dadi's age coming from my home. I smiled at her and went inside. I saw my papa mumma and dadi discussing something really serious.i didnt want to interrupt them. So i directly went towards my room. After some time mumma came and called my downstairs i freshen up and went to them. All were seated there except my bro. I sat down with them. I could see them trying to say something and then mumma said something that shocked me a little.

Avni beta you are only 21 now and we know its not the time to think about marriage even we did not think about it until now.hum jaante he ki tum abhi shaadi ke baare me nahi sochna chahti.but beta ek bahut achha rishta aaya he tumhare liye. Aur hame bhi lagta hai ki yeh tumhare liye achha hi hoga. We don't want to pressurise u beta. But ek baar sochle. Hum tumhare jawaab jaanna chahte hai.

It took some time to register me what mumma was saying. I looked at everyone and i saw a hope in their eyes. But i was not in a condition to analyse the situation.i felt papa caressing my head and i came back from my thoughts.

Beta tum time lena chahti ho to koi problem nahi. Agar tum na kaho to hum samajenge. Par beta rishta bahut achha aaya hai. Sochkar bata dena teek hai.

Par papa itna jaldi kyun hai. Abhi toh meri studies bhi complete nahi hui hai... mein shaadi.... I was struggling for words. I didnt know what to say.so i kept silent.

Avni beta tum kamre mein jao. Hum kal baat katre hai.dadi said looking at mumma papa and told them to talk later. I saw her indicating them but not paid interest.

I went to my room. I was about to close the door when i heared dadi speaking

Ashish avni agar  abhi shaadi karna chahti hai to teek hai. Hume uski saath dena chahiye. Kyunki yeh uski zindagi ka sawaal hai aur usi ko jeena hai. Usne kaha haina woh sochkar bata denge. Toh bas voh batayenge.

Par maa aap hi sochiyena kitna achha alliance hai. Mein jaanti hoon avni abhi padaayi kar rahi hai. Par kabhi na kabhi to use shaadi karni hai toh phir abhi kyun nahi.khair final decision toh avni ko hi lena hai. Hum  wait karenge.

I was carefully listening to them i didn't know what to do. I decided to call riya. I came to room and called riya and told her everything.

Avni yeh tumhari life hai toh decision bhi tumhari honi chahiye. Par phir bhi mein yehi kahoongi ki ek baar sochle. Sochkar hi jawaab dena. I will always stand by you. Dont worry....

After ending call i lied down on bed to sleep. But i know sleep will come to me tonight. But i have to take a decision.after some time i took one and decided to tell family about it morning...with that i drifted in to a dreamless sleep.
