The ring of the alarm wokes avni up in her usual time of four in the morning.but her beautiful face was ardorned with frown lines.today she has exam and the previous days tireness had taken toll over her resulting in sleeping early yesterday without allowing to study much.she was tensed,hell tensed.not that she didn’t prepared for exam properly,its just that glancing over the chapters again gave her a confidence.but today….

Avni:oh my god I really afraid.please god make my exam easy.plzzz….

Avnis chain of thoughts were broken by a notification of her phone.it was a message from an unknown number in whatsapp. “hey good morning… breathe in breathe out all the best for your exam….” Avni clicked on the the dp and it appeared.yes it was neil.a small shy smile appeared on her lips which reached her eyes and cheeks too… “thank you” She replied back and switched her phone off and went to the balcony with her text book.it was by 8 avni came out of her room ready to go to college.she came down and saw no one is there.she checked hall too.but no one was there.she called bema.

Avni:beema didi where is everyone??

Beema:every one went to agarwals house.neela mam told me to inform you as you were sleeping.and also told you to call her.

Avni:ok thank you didi.i will call ma.

Beema:avni your food is ready come and have it.

Avni had her food and left to college.she saw riya and others alreadywaiting for her infront of her exam room.she went to them.

Mithali:avni…u are late..

Avni:sorry yaar …traffic

Vidyut:why don’t you come in ur car or two wheeler yaar?

Avni:why would I come in that.there are public vehicles for us.

Vidyut:oh sorry.the great avni Mehta is reducing pollution.

Riya:stop it yaar.dont start your battering now.lets go inside exam will start in some time.

Every one went to their respective classes for exam.avni wrote all the answers correctly but still she was worried.exam ended in three hours an all came out.

Mithai:hows the exam guys? Riya,vidyut:fine yaar.

All this while avni was observing karan.he didn’t talk to her from the morning.

Avni:karan…are you alright?why are you not talking to me? Now everyones attention was on them.

Karan:avni..dont talk to me..i m angry on you..

Avni:what did I do ?

Karan:what did you do??u are going to get married and yesterday was you engagement .where is my engagement treat.you didn’t even give as a toffee.what type of a friend are you??

Everyone brust in to laughter .avni ran behind karan to beat him.soon everyone joined them and made it afriend’s moment.

Riya:avni..i have some works so I will go now.u will go alone right?

Avni:yeah I will go and by the way I have to go to agarwal uncle’s house.u will come there right?

Riya:yeah I will join you there directly. Riya went to her car and took her phone and typed something on her phone. “we are leaving”

Soon everbody left.mithali,vidyut and karan goes in vidyut’s car as they lives in same street.avni went to bus stop and was waiting for bus suddenly a car came and halted infront of her.she moved a bit and looked in the direction of bus.her breathe hitched when she aedntly looked at the guy came out of the passenger seat.her eyes widened in shock and surprise.soon the car left and the guy came towards her.

Avni:neil…you here??

Neil:(with a fake shocked expression)why cant I come here?

Avni:sorry..i didn’t mean it in that way.i just asked bcz u send ur car away and…

Avni was cut of by neil

Neil:oh ho did you took the patent of sorry and thank you.i was just joking yaar.

Avni just smiles

Avni:but seriously why did you came here?any work??

Neil:yeah I have some work but with you.

Avni:with me??

Suddenly bus came.

Neil:come the bus has arrived.

the bus was a bit crowded but luckly they got seat.avni sat on the window side and neil beside her.avni can felt her heart rising with the mere contact of their bodies.she was blushing but the hair that fell on her face covered her blush from neil’s eyes.

Avni:u told me you have some work with me..?

Neil:yeah I am doing my work now.

Avni:work??now???

Neil:spending time with you.

Avni again blushed and looked away.

Neil:hows your exam?

Avni:it was difficult.(with a sad face).

Neil:hey..its ok…

Avni:but neil..how did you know that I will be there in the bus stop?

Neil:riya told me.

Avni:oh..(in mind:riya….i will kill you when I get you there)

Neil:hey..plz don’t kill riya for this.

Avni was shocked .neil suppressed his laughter.avni smiled embaressedly.

Neil:so tell me avni what things happened today.i want to know Avni was hesitant but gave in seeing his openness.she told him everything that happened and karan’s demand too.

Neil:lets give them a treat then.in fact I will give them a treat.u inform them after exam meet me in treat house café .
Avni:no neil.its not needed.they are like this only.

Neil:arey…what not needed.i want to give them treat and you have to agree.

Avni:ok..i will inform them.neil can i ask you something??

Neil:you dont need permission to ask anything. Go ahead.

Avni:(innocently) why did you send back your car?

Neil's eyes widened in shock and give her a you really dont know look. But our poor girl failed to understand his intention. Neil again smiled seeing avni patiently waiting for him to reply.

Neil:(in a funny way) the petrol rate is increasing day by day and pollution too. So thought to use public vehice instead of private ones.

Avni:you are right. Look around us how polluted our area is. If everybody thinks like you then we can surely reduce pollution.

Avni said to neil in a rather serious manner. This time neil was beyond shocked by avnis words.

Neil:(in mind) like really?she took my words seriously. Oh my god its gonna be really difficult.

Avni:neil its time to get down.

Neil:ok,come.

They both got down of the bus and started walking.
Avni:neil are you coming with me?

Neil:yes .is there any problem??

Avni:what if someone see us like this.that wont look good right? They both went to Mehta mansion talking and smiling.

Avni:neil…would you like to have something?

Neil:yeah sure…

Avni:wait I will bring

Neil:oh my avni..we are officially engaged now.u don’t have to worry about anyone. some juice and snacks. Avni came back in some minutes with snacks and juice.

Neil:y are you not having anything?

Avni:actually I want to freshen up after that I will have something.still then you can wait here right?

Neil:sure..take your time.

Avni:if you are interested in reading then there is some books in my room.you can take it.

Neil:oh thank you..

With that avni went to her room followed by neil
