Next morning avni’s sleep was broken not by her alarm but by that someone special.it was already 5:30 in the morning.the call went unanswered 2 times before avni wake up.she hastly picked her phone without looking at the caller name.

Avni:hello..who is this?why are calling this early?

Neil:avni..are you still sleeping.get up!!!

Avni then looked at her phone after hearing his voice.a bright smile adorned her face immediately.

Avni:good morning neil..

Neil:avni ..its already past 5:30 and you are still sleeping?

Avni:oh shit!! i didn’t heared the alarm.

Neil:so I was right.what is this avni?you have exam today and you are still sleeping.

Avni:sorry..

Neil:you know I have messaged you several times,but didn’t reply.so I asssumed that you that you were sleeping.

Avni:thank you neil.if you haven’t called me then..
Neil:no need to thank me ok

Avni:but still neil..

Neil:if you are so desperate to thank me then thank me after your exam.

Avni:ok..

Neil:ok??

Avni:yeah ok.

Neil:ok enough.u go and read ur book again.i will come to pick up you by 7:45.wait for me .see you soon.

Avni:mmm

Neil:at least say something yaar

Avni:see you soon.

Neil:(to himself)oh my god..

Neil:ok then.

with that they both ended their morning dose of talking.after that avni studied for sometime and got ready for college.she went down to her family who were at the dining area.

Neela:avni how would you go to college today.riya informed that she will directly reach there today.

Avni:I will go by myself.

All this while dadi was looking at avni with some unreadable expression on her face.everyone else failed to notice it.avni sat down and ate her food.she was about to leave,dadi stopped her.

Dadi:avni wait..i will drop you to college today.

Avni:its ok dadi..i will go by bus or will take my scooty.

Neela:avni..this is th first time you are saying no to dadi..

Avni:(to herself) what will i do now. Neil will be waiting for me. I think i should message him and go with dadi.

Avni:no maa.its not like that.ok then I will go with dadi.

They were about to leave,dadi got call from bebe and avni left from there alone.avni stepped out of the gate,suddenly someone pulled her and she crashed her head on a firm broad chest.

Avni:neil..

Neil:nice my to be wifey,you recoganised me without even looking.great.

Avni:you know what just happened sometime ago?

Neil:I know

Avni:you know??but how?

Neil:I came there to pick you up and listened to your conversation with dadi.

Avni:neil..dadi is not bad.its just that she is little conservative.

Neil:I know avni.now lets go before dadi come and spoil my plan.

Avni:plan?

Neil:yes plan.it was on my instruction bebe called dadi.

Avni:u are impossible neil.now drop me at college

Neil:oh yeah..come.

They both left in neil’s car.avni was swimming in her book while neil was driving.they both stole occasional glances at each other.they reached the college after sometime.neil sopped the car infront of college gate.they both came out of car.neil came and hugged avni and avni reciprocated with a huge smile.

Neil:all the best avni..

Avni:thanks neil.but I am still worried .

Neil:hey..look here..you are my miss ajooba and you can do wonders.exams are very small things.i know you will write your exam well.now go inside we will meet after exam.

Avni:yeaah sure.bye neil..

Neil:ok bye.. Avni went from there.avni was walking towards her exam hall,she collied with someone.her eyes widened when she saw him.she was about to go from there,he blocked her.

Avni:abeer..

Abeer:oh you remember me?oops sorry we only met a day before.

Avni:let me go abeer.

Abeer:sure avni.i will let you go.

Avni again tried to go but he again stopped her

Abeer:wait for me after exam darling..

Avni was really afraid now.suddenly riya came there and took avni with her.

Riya:avni..you ok?

Avni:yes riya I m fine.

Riya:by the way what was he talking to you?

Avni:I will tell you after exam.

Riya:ok then. Avni:riya pz tell others about the treat ok

Riya:sure..now go and all the best.

After 3 hrs exam was over.the invigilator was collecting paper then a staff came there and handed a pape to the invigilator.

Invigilator:avni Mehta has been requested to report in the principal’s cabin after exam.

Avni:yes mam. Everyone came out of the class after exam.

Karan:avni why did princi called you?

Avni:don’t know yaar.

Vidyut:you go then,we will wait here.

Avni:ok.

Mithali:no we will come with you and wait outside.

Riya:yes avni.we will come with you.

They all went to office wing.while ohers wait outside avni went inside.

Avni:may I come in sir?

Princi:yes come in.

Avni:sir yo called me?

Princi:avni you didn’t tell me that you are engaged to our new acp.

Avni:sorry sir.but how did you ..

Suddenly neil came inside the cabin with a small smile on his face.

Neil:sorry avni.i told him

Avni:its ok neil.

Princi:I am happy for you both.neil you are really lucky to have her.she is such a nice girl and also our college topper.

Neil:I know sir.ok then we will leave now.

Avni:thank you sir.

Avneil went out and saw her friends waiting for her near the college gate.

Avni:I told them to wait here.wwhy did they went there?

Neil:offo avni..we are anyway going to them.so what’s the big deal?

Avni:mmm…neil..what were you doing with princi?i mean you left in the morning itself right?

Neil:actually avni I saw abeer in the morning and I was sure that he will do something for sure.and I was right I saw him blocking you in the morning.so I decided to stay back.

Avni:sorry neil.bcoz of me you are suffering.

Neil stopped on his track hearing this.he ently cupped her face in his hands.they looked in to each others eyes and forgot that they were in college corridor and other students were watching them.

Neil:no avni.i love doing things for you and being with you.i m not suffering at all.

Avni:but neil..princi

Neil:I was waiting fo you in the waiting room and he saw me and asked me why am I here.i didn’t find any reason to lie,so I told him the truth

Avni was about to say something they heared someone whistling.that’s when reality hit them.they looked around to see other students looking at avni and neil.they heared others murmuring.

S1:who is this guy with avni?

S2:don’t know yaar.may be her boyfriend.

S3:boyfriend?that too avni mehta’s?she is a nerd guys.

S1:yes.

Avneil heared this.

Avni:lets go neil.

Neil:wait avni.let me introduce myself to your friends first. Neil said looking at the students who were looking curious,jelous and what not

Neil:hii I am acp neil khanna.avni’s soo o be better half.and meet her she is soon to be mrs avni neil khanna.now excuse us guys.we have to go somewhere.

Neil held avni’s hand and they both walked away from there.suddenly neil stopped infron of someone and held avni by her waist.avni looked up and saw abeer glaring a them.

Neil:abeer.what are you doing here?

Abeer:I just came with some work.by the way you here?

Neil:I came to pick my avni as I promised her friends to give a treat.

Abeer:oh nice..

Neil:ok then bye yaaar.we are getting late.and yeah don’t forgt to come in our haldi.its day after tomorrow.i will be waiting.

Abeer:yeah sure.bye then.

With that avneil went from there.neil was still holding her by waist and they went to avni’s friends.

Sorry for the filler update.. I will try to make it more interesting in upcoming chapter.
