Ahem! Moving away from my slightly disfunctionate brain, we al know Dionysus, right? Greek god of wine, life of the party, got a bunch of fangirls etc.

Well, like many Greek gods, he originally originated in Mycenean Greece. If you don't know what that is, it's basically ancient Greece before ancient Greece. And like many MANY gods, he started of as incredibly different than what we see as Dionysus today. like for one thing, Mycenean Dionysus had horns :D

Ngl I'm kinda sad that didn't survive into Greek mythology ;^;

Another thing about him you may not know is that Dionysus might have actually been the god of insanity/madness (and if I'm wrong than it's probably the caffine talking). There are a few old myths of him doing some chaotic sh*t, and he sort of died a few time and soooooo, THAT is also there to explore.

Moving aside from the boring stuff though and to the actual art because ..... um...... it's an artbook and i feel like most of you aren't here to hear me ramble on about our drunk boi (AKA Dionsus)
