Octavia abusive, Bitter, distant and Neglectful mother. She was in her early 40 when She and Aziki (Ozzie human soul) had a one night stand and Octavia came into light. She unfortunately never had sterilization. She would have gotten an abortion but she was pro life. She would have put Octavia up for adoption but realized that a lawyer with a 'motherly instince' can raise her reputation. She never liked Octavia and kept her at arms length. She would often ignore and verbally abuse Octavia, leaving the girl to her own devices. When it came to light about the murder and her one night stand ritual, her reputation took a hit and the managing position she had in her company she was depromoted to a small time lawyer. She lost her respect and grew to despise Octavia for she was a reminder of her stand so in an effort to save what's left of her reputation she accused Aziki of taking advantage of her. She started to physically abuse Octavia to the point where the little girl was afraid of sleeping. Octavia couldn't take it anymore and in a fit of anger screwed with her mother car, causing Samantha to get killed in a car accident.
