*a click is heard, along with static before the sound clears up. There's pounding in the background, crashing. And a voice, a taunting, playful voice that had a cover of malice to it. The words were illegible, muffled by... something.*

"Hello? Hello? Is this thing on??

Okay... I don't have much time here. He'll find a way past that door if I know him.

It's about Gradient. I know you all hate him (most of you), but it's really... it's not his fault.

The ritual. When Richard performed the ritual on Arin before his spirit could pass, his spirit was split in two - one was Arin, the real Arin. But the other was more of a husk, a shadow of him. One who's only knowledge of right and wrong is impacted by a kind of demonic magic brought about by that ritual, the ritual that made him that way.

But the good part didn't pass on. He was someone without many to remember him, so his true spirit stayed, too.

He's still in there... but he doesn't know it."

*a loud crash sounds through the audio, along with a twisted, wicked laugh that makes your blood run cold. The voice is clear now, menacingly playful.*

"I found youuu~!"

"He's here, I have to go, I have to g-"

*a scream is heard, close then farther away along with another crash as the recorder had been slammed into the ground. A bash of bone against wood can be heard through that same, bone-chilling cackle.*

*a small shuffling sound as the recorder is picked up. You can almost feel the frigid breeze chill you to the core as the other, familiar voice speaks*

"Hellooo... I'm afraid Addie will be... unavailable for the time being.

Don't worry. She'll be back.

Eventually.

If I don't consume her first.

Goodbye.

*he laughs again before the recording cuts off, a large crash audible before its replaced by static.*
