Anyway school stories and art

Story 1:

Both of these are more of funny things but eh

We started on the Odyssey the other day in English class, and the we had a substitute today, so he was a bit more interactive with us than my actual teacher. He started asking us about the Odyssey for funsies, to see what we knew.

Yeah no I was just lore dumping about the start of the Trojan war and the gods and what I knew about the Odyssey as everyone asked where the hell I'd learned about it

I'll be honest I know nothing about it besides what I know from the Epic: The Musical songs and that might be inaccurate considering it's modernized lol

BUT HEY I KNEW ALL ABOUT ERIS AND THE GOLDEN APPLE :3

Anyway story 2:

I mentioned this in my previous announcement but I watched Suzume in Japanese club today.

Suzume is basically a movie about a girl, Suzume, who uproots a "keystone" that was keeping a dangerous worm from destroying the universe and meets this guy named Souta, who is almost immediately turned into Suzume's tiny three legged child's chair by a cat that they then chase down and try to also keep the worm from destroying the world

It's hilarious I love it it's my favorite Japanese movie now and by God it is BEAUTIFUL I highly suggest it 100/10

It's also one of the few movies to make me cry and it was when (spoiler alert) DAIJI (aforementioned cat) DIES I WAS SO UPSET I GENUINELY CRIED RIGHT THERE AND THEN

Suzume why didn't you just leave your goddamn chair boyfriend to be the keystone he was fine there Daiji didn't deserve any of that my GOD >:0
