Hey everyone! Welcome back to the art contest!
First off, I apologise for the rocky date of announcing the winners. I am aware that a lot of you were really excited about finding out who the winners are, while others... let's just say others took it a tad bit too far in their 'apprehension'...
Anyway, if you're interested in my reasoning for my absence and lateness, please read the announcement on my message board. Thank you and on with the results!! 😄
Now, before I do any revealing, I need to remind everyone of you that this was a ranking system based on a checklist (totally out of 25). Personal opinions and choice was only used if there was a draw. Please be respectful to everyone and to my opinions. Thank you.
Because of how close these were, the prizes and ranks will be a tad different, as follows. Remember, the prizes can differ slightly if the winners want to change them up a bit.

Second Place - 20 votes, 1 fullbody
Third Place - 10 votes, 1 headshot, 1 chibi
Fourth Place - 5 votes, 1 chibi

Very nice! A falcon is a very good choice for Gale, I think, especially considering all the reasoning you gave. It's drawn really nicely indeed, a great amount of detail, high level of anatomical accuracy - a big well done!

I honestly LOVED this! Sinosauropteryx are one of my favourite dinosaurs, and you drew them beautifully! The designs are perfectly realistic, their expressions adorable and the background equally great 😀 Good job!!

This is beautiful! The whole scene is really pretty and so flippin detailed. The Utahraptor has very nice anatomy, the water's ombre is stunning and all those details in the undergrowth and trees is FAB! The textures look really good all together, and with the gorgeously-drawn dino, make a lovely art piece. Well done! 😄

I have never really thought of representing Katniss as a corvid, but your explanations are really good! You gave a lovely amount of detail as to why you drew her like this. The shading and lighting on the feathers looks so cool, and the position is quite creative! I also really like that branch she's sitting on for some reason. Great job! ^^

Drum roll please...
First off, I have to admit how impressed I am by these! I love the art style and the sheer amount of details put into these. The cat is beautiful and the red panda downright gorgeous! Those little duckies are adorable and the backgrounds in both are really good. Especially for the red panda, the lighting is so detailed, and it breathes so much life into the art pieces!
A huge well done and congratulations! You definitely deserve first place! :)
I'd like to congratulate everyone who took part, is was so difficult choosing between ties and ratings! Well done everybody.

@/Ashfur2023 - 16 - The lineless art is very nice, the clothes look very fitting on the cat, and the expression is lovely!
@/Kai_Hinamaki-San - 15 - I don't think that there was much reasoning so I had to knock off some points, but otherwise, I really liked it! It was a unique view on HP and a really well-drawn one at that :)
@/Alakazam2009 - 18 - You never actually specified which category it was and the reasoning was a bit vague, but the art is lovely! Your dragon style, sharp limbs, lightning ears, etc, really fit well with the expressions!
@/stxrmyy- - 20 - This is a very nicely drawn scene indeed! I know you drew it quite a bit of time ago, but it still looks really good. Saffron and Fennec are drawn very well and the background is pretty cool! Well done ^^
@/belovedjenna- - 19 - The amount of detail in this is what made it so lovely! The bricks on the guard outpost, the individual designs for every single dragon and the background, all FAB! Great job!
@/cherrytea_x - 15 - The expression is interesting and the pose is pretty creative for 'just sitting'. Very nice. The background- um- if it is an imported picture, that's not really allowed - if it is your art, nice... but maybe try to put more detail into the actual drawing next time ^^" Good job though!
@/RebeccaWood471 - 14 - The detail of the dinosaur is really nice and so is the overall shape of the head. The little details in the eye are also cool. I understand you might like Blue the velociraptor but you were supposed to draw your favourite species of dinosaur, not character, and in a scene of some sort. That's alright though, nothing all too horrible. I'm a bit confused about the colours and what happened to her back teeth. But otherwise, nice.
@/8StarShadow8 - 19 - Yours was a very detailed and lovely piece! I enjoyed reading all those explanations you had. Your reasoning and symbolism was really nice, and the art deserves brownie points for all the detail you put into it!
@/Phoenix_the_skywing - 17 - I really liked this entry! Saffron looked great, you drew her very accurately, the background has an adequate amount of detail as necessary, and it just looks lovely! Aurora Borealis probably wouldn't be visible where Saffron is, but that's alright!
@/Briarlight2137 - 17 - A fawn represents Rue very well, so good job for that! The art has a lot of detail, and (I know this'll sound odd) but I really like how you drew her snout/muzzle.
