so i finished reading and watching bmc. there are so many differences that it isn't even the same story. ima spoil a teeny bit so fair warning.

first of all, book micheal isn't as much of a dick as everyone said he was. he isn't as sweet as musical micheal, but he isn't a complete piece of shit. he honestly tries to help jeremy with christine even if it's partially through insults.

and christine is a little shit in the beginning. she gets all offended whenever jeremy says anything. after the whole jake-cheats-on-her incident she starts to open up to jeremy and it gets fluffy.

also he never really stays with brooke. her tit is infected or whatever and the squip gets him out of there. he instead goes with chloe who has a boyfriend named brock, and he chases jeremy through the house for fucking his girl.

micheal has a thicc girlfriend named nicole, who takes an interest in jeremy for a good .3 seconds before micheal drags her ass out.

the halloween party was where rich gave jeremy the squip info. there's a whole other party that rich burns down, and jeremy is a mess when he learns that rich was burned badly. he felt really bad about it.

most importantly, the squip isn't bad. it literally tells jeremy to get rid of it in order to get with christine, and it doesn't take over the school.

the biggest spoiler is this: the book was written by the squip. it sounds weird but it all makes sense when you realize what's up. jeremy fucks stuff up with christine and basically gets his squip to data dump into the book to explain why he asked her out in the MIDDLE of the play.

AND YOU NEVER LEARN IF JEREMY GOT CHRSTINE. I AM SHOOK LMAO
