and this storytime is about my tongue

yeah so when i was born it was stuck to the bottom of my mouth. basically the skin under the tongue grew too much so i couldnt talk right. i got it clipped and everything was dandy for a while (though i had to go to speech therapy for a bit)

but then a few years later it decided to grow back so i had to get it clipped again

lemme tell you, you do not want to get your tongue clipped

first, those friggin DISSOVABLE STITCHES

Yeah, so since the stitches eventually just kinda pop out of your skin, after a week or two i had to get up every 30 minutes to spit a stitch into the trash. i had to do this in school, too

second, oh my gosh it hurts

i couldnt eat anything but pudding and ice cream for a week, and i had to use plastic spoons because the cold metal made my tongue hurt more

and i might have to get it clipped in the future again?? not sure, we have to see if it decides to grow back again
