I will be uploading my process of how I do realistic or ahem "realistic" things (Sorry for the spam of uploading on here) Anyway her ya go! Tell me if this helps anyone at all.

(although I am not sure people need/want this- I am doing it anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )

Base: Start by sketching out the base of what you are making (Be sure to get the proportions right)

Color lay: Start sloppily laying your colors of the cat/animal on, button an orderly and Shading manner:

Smudge: smudge them all together, along with thin lines for the fur texture:

Layers: After smudging a bit I started to slowly add layers of fur, and dots where the shading and lighting are.

I mean I guess from far away it looks- Realistic...?

Mixing: After smudging layers upon layers I went in with the mixer brush to clean it up.

quick tip; Sometimes it helps to spot mistakes or find something you misted easier to turn the drawing upside-down and die the base, this works traditionally too!

face details: Then I add a new layer over the base and give the base 50% opacity and trace over key details like the eyes and nose.

Like so.

Eyes: Then I put it on 30 for flow and opacity of my marker and get a deep maroon color, going over with lighter shades to make details

add a light base coat for the color of the eyes

then go over it in a darker color, to help you out set your pen mode to "Multiply" with the light base eye color still on.

I next add shading around the pupil and add  bit more to the iris.

After that put your pen mode on "Color Dodge" and select the same color you used for the base eye, go over it and add highlights.

Finally you are finished!

And some nice backgrounds!

If you are going to use this, or do it, or if this helped at all please tell me! I would also love to see the finished product, so be sure to tag me!!
