You ran to professer oaks lab thingy. " hello yn ( your name ) " professer oak greeted you.
" hi." You said smiling. Just then one of your best friends, Gary came out.
People think Gary is an obnoxious jerk but if you get to know him he's actually kind of sweet.
" hey yn. " Gary said happily. " hey Gary!" You replied hugging him. He blushes but you didn't notice.
" so I either choose a charmander, squirtle, or a bulbasour am I correct?" You ask
" no, I got something special for you." Professer oak says handing you a pokeball.
You open it and out comes a adorable eevee.
" aww it's so cute. " you cooed petting it.
" yeah, Gary insisted on giving you this and your one of my favorite visitors.
You come to his lab a lot to avoid your abusive mom.
" thank you thank you thank youuuuu." You squeal hugging Gary, squeezing the life out of him and professer oak. " it was nothing." Gary said rubbing his neck awkwardly.
" well you guys should get going." Professer oak said.
" okay!" You and Gary said in unison after running off.

You met up with ash, your other best friend. He started talking to you about how he was late. You just laughed at his story.
You and ash started walking off into an adventure as Gary looked at you with sadness and at ash with envy.

Ash was dragging pikachu on a leash and started complaining.
" pikachu seriously hates me." He says dramatically. Pikachu nodded in agreement.
You laughed. " well for starters I wouldn't keep him on a leash." You said un hooking the leash.
Pikachu squealed happily and jumped on your head.
Ash rolled his eyes and you laughed even more.
" how do you know a lot about Pokemon." He said.
You paused for a second and then replied " because I know that they wouldn't want to be on a leash."
Ash just smiled and stared at you.
" what do I have something on my face or something?"
That broke ash out of his day dream.
" erm no I'm just lost in thought." He said sheepishly.
You stared at him worriedly and pikachu just laughed.
