He held her close, firmly next to his heart, and stepped toward her bed.

He placed her on it softly and drew back his arms. But for his surprise her arms around his neck went firm then before. She dugged her nose in crook of his neck, "You are done with me. Aren't you?" She whispered.

"No, am not." He replied shutting his eyes firmly as he could feel her lips brushing on his bare skin as in haste to reach her , he forgot to wear anything and came in her room in vest only.

"You are going to leave me. Just like Mom, Dad and Michelle." She pulled her whole body closer to him and curled up against him as if a small bundle of thread and started to cry badly again.

As her tear started to soak deep in his skin, he found himself unable to maintain the distance anymore.

He laid beside her, hugging her tight, "shuu... calm down. You don't need to cry as am not going to leave you. Never." He insured her rubbing her back.

"No, you will and I will be left alone to die crying." She said between sobs.

He pulled a bit back to look at her face and placed a warm kiss on her temple, " Never, till my last breath." He whispered in her ear hugging her back in a tight hug to calm her shivering body.

"Mike, promise you will stay with me atleast for tonight." She murmured again his chest hugging him firmly.

He started to hum the song to divert her mind and calm her anxiety a well.

"Right now it's pretty crazy

He felt the strong urge to hug her more firm or to kiss her, he wanted to do anything which can comfort her scared, insecure soul.

I know there are some things we need to talk about"

He pulled a bit back and held her face in his palms to make her look into his eyes.

With a light stroke of his finger, he removed a lock of hair from her face and tucked it behind ear.

"No Mike, please don't do this with yourself. You deserves everything, all happiness of the world. I wish, I could offer you the same but I can't. I am sorry Mike." She replied with same intensity in her voice and tears in eyes.

Love fades away but this feeling getting intense day by day." A silent tear rolled down from her eye as she blinked at him with the same light smile and a blush.

"Stay!" Max held his finger before his hand could slip away from Her's.

"If Eric gets to know that am here, in his sister's room!" He looked back at her over his shoulder. "I will be beaten in black and blue then thrown out of my own home, especially as am shirtless and you are all red of crying. And apparently they all knows well that am crazy about you." He added while turning back and sitting at floor next to bed holding back her hand firmly.

She laughed a bit at this and pulled his palm under her head, "Who told you to jump in my room like this? That to shirtless?"

"Well..." he raised a bit from floor to lay next to her on bed and looked around, "that guy , with fluffy fur who is my true Son." They laughed a bit. Mike gestured Zebbu to join in for a group snuggle, "come here dude, your momma needs both of us."

Zebbu jumped on bed and Mike hugged both of them in a warm hug.
