Raker fell into the world of sleep. It felt good, this time there was no dream, it was just darkness. An icy chill ran down her spine and felt like claws clutching her heart. Suddenly she was in a bright throne room with gold statues of skywings. There was a throne in the middle. And on that throne was Queen Scarlet. Except, she was in chains. And next to her throne in long, heavy chains was Ash. She laughed evilly, showing her sharp, shiny teeth. "Ash!" Raker yelled. "Oh you want Ash?" She said in a sinister voice. "Yes! Let him go!" Raker roared. "I will make a deal with you. You know that, that weird nightwing that's with you?" Scarlet said. The image of DeadWings appeared in her head. "Y-yes. What about h-her?" She asked Scarlet. "If you bring me that nightwing, I will release Ash. If you fail to do so, then I will kill Ash!" She roared in an evil smirk. Shock spread across Raker's face. Ash looked up at her with deep sadness. The chains on his neck we're bringing him down. "Why do you want DeadWings?!" Raker roared in anger. "Why should I answer to you?" Scarlet said. Then Raker felt claws rake her eyes and everything went black. She quickly put her talons to her eyes and roared in agony. What was happening? "What are you doing to me?!" Raker roared. "I made you blind." Scarlet laughed. All Raker could see in the darkness was a red Skywing walking towards Ash. He was holding a chain that was supposed to clamp around Ash's throat. The Skywing clamped on the thick metal. There was a heavy, but short chain hanging from it with a black diamond at the end. Suddenly Ash roared in anger and fought against the chains that held him down. He fought hard until they snapped loose. He took one of his massive wings and knocked the red skywing all the way into the wall. The Skywing roared in agony and fell to the floor dead. Then Ash roared in victory. He looked at Scarlet and bowed. "Ash! No!" Raker yelled. She awoke in a rush. Her heart was pounding in her chest and her eyes were wide with fear. What did she do to Ash? Raker asked herself. She looked over to see DeadWings. She knew DeadWings wasn't really asleep. She bent over and whispered in her ear. "DeadWings." She whispered in a low murmur. DeadWings lifted her head and squinted her eyes at Raker. "What?" She asked. "I need to talk to you.. I-it's about you." Raker said in a scared voice. What if DeadWings didn't want to be her friend after she told her this? Raker creeped out of the hammock and out into the sleeping village. The moons were full and bright. She sat down in the middle of the village, looking up at the stars and moons. DeadWings came and sat down by her. Raker felt her warm wing brush against hers. "What is it?" She heard DeadWings say in a shaky voice. "Well, Queen Scarlet just visited me in a dream. Ash was there and he was chained up. She said if I didn't bring you to her. She would kill Ash, but if I do, she would let Ash go and he could be with me. But im not going to do that to you. Your my friend. And I know if I do bring you to her, she would probably kill Ash anyway." Raker said looking down. "She did something to Ash. I don't know what, but, but he's, changed." Raker said stressing the word. DeadWings looked confused. "Who's Ash?" She asked. Raker froze. She forgot that she didn't tell her about Ash. "Ummm, he-he's just another friend. A good friend. He is a Skywing. You've probably seen him. He probably flew you down to the arena to fight. That's what he usually does." Raker said, covering up her secret with Ash with a lie. "Oh, okay." DeadWings said, pausing between words.

That morning she woke up and walked out of the doctor hut. She saw NorthLight holding beaten flowers in her talons. She walked to Raker. "Hey...." She said, holding back her embarrassment. "Hi." Raker said slowly. NorthLight handed her the flowers. "I'm sorry for what I did yesterday... I have no words for what I did. I hope you forgive me." She said looking down at the flowers she handed Raker. Raker gently took the flowers from her talons and said. "It's okay, I forgive you." Raker said in a murmur. Other rainwings watched nearby. There was anticipation in their eyes for another fight. "I-I hope we can be friends." NorthLight stammered. "Yes. I would be more then happy to be your friend." Raker gave her a nervous smile.

Raker spent the rest of the day with Raker and NorthLight. NorthLight was actually a nice dragon and became apart of their friend group. That day had been a great day besides the fact of leaves bandaged on her arm and wing.
