A week later

I stood beside Padmé and Gregar as we waited for Master Obi wan and his Padawan  "You must not blame yourself "  Padme told me as I looked to her  " I should have known what was going to happen I'm your bodyguard I'm supposed to protect you " I said knowing Padme friend death was my fault the Jedi Council thought it would be best if Padme had more protection the elevator doors open Master Obi wan walked in a grin appeared on his face when he saw me my eyes then locked with Anakin Skywalker he was my best friend we haven't seen each other since we where eight .

" I'm great full for your presence Master Jedi " Padmé says shaking both their hands Before Ani looked over at me his same eyes changed yet so much he had so much happiness when his eyes met mine somehow I remember Anakin after all these years even though I had forgotten about everyone else .

" Ani? my goodness you grown " I said smiling , he seemed even more flushed with that same excitement when he said , " So have you ,..uh " he looks down blushing I couldn't help but smirk at him.

" You haven't change a bit, " I say smiling back at him Anakin was a very happy child most part but leaving everything behind him was something that was proven a hard task for the boy and yet he stills feels to always look a head that was the most I remembered of him Obi wan came over to me .

" It's been a long time since I seen you Annakia I'm glad your back " Obi wan told me as he placed his hand on my shoulder " It's good to be back " I say sadly he then turn back towards Padme " We will get to this plot quickly my lady , you will be safe in no time " We all turned over to the living room and had a seat as I was a cross from Anakin .

" I don't need more security I need answers , I want to know who is trying to kill me "

" We are here to protect you Senator, not to start and investigation-" Obi says before being cut off .

" I will find out who is trying to kill you Padme I promise you " Ani says looking her dead in the eye , the thought made me think all those years ago and the way he used to look at me .

" We cannot ignore our mandate my young Padawan Lerner "

" I meant it in the interest of protecting her master of course protection is a job for local security not Jedi ! It's over kill Master -"

I gasped at things about to go down .

"We will do exactly as the council has instructed, and you will learn you place young one " Obi wan warned Anakin he only huffed in response what was I going to do with these two .
