❀ The contest runs from May 1, 2024, until May 31, 2024. The last day to submit your entry is May 31, 2024. Favorite submissions will be announced from APIFantasy and APIRomance sometime towards the end of June 2024.

❀ Your story must feature a protagonist of Asian and/or Pacific Islander descent. Stories featuring Thai characters must not include any references to the Thai Royal Family or military.

❀ Your entries must not exceed 5,000 words.

❀ We accept Mature Content, but it must follow Wattpad's Content Guidelines.

❀ We do not accept Fanfiction at this time.

❀ Your story must be in English, Spanish, Korean, or Thai.

❀ OPTIONAL: tag your stories with #AAPIHeritageMonth2024 and/or #AAPIHM2024

❀ You may submit more than one entry, but only one of your entries has a chance of winning. Please publish your story as a separate book or in your existing short story collection.
