Q1 from meltedquill: Hogwarts house? And the plot of your first book!

A1: My Hogwarts house is Gryffindor according to Pottermore. However, I identify as Gryfferin (Gryffindor-Slytherin hybrid). Really, it depends on my mood. ;)

Fun fact: My very first book still isn't finished. I started writing it several years ago while I was sitting at on the patio of the restaurant at the Pera Palace Hotel in Istanbul. (For those of you who don't know, Agatha Christie allegedly wrote Murder on the Orient Express at the Pera Palace Hotel, and other famous guests include Ernest Hemingway and Alfred Hitchcock.) Truthfuly, I had no idea this hotel was famous when I visited. I simply walked past the patio, fell in love with it, and returned a few nights later with an empty journal to write while eating dinner.

The book is about a woman returning to Istanbul after having visited the city years before. She's a successful businesswoman, and the chapters alternate between present day and her first trip to Istanbul when she was fresh out of college when she fell in love with a man who ended up breaking her heart.

Someday I'll finish it!

Q2 from fallingfirework: What's your favorite type of food and why?

A2: This is the hardest question because I truly love almost all foods. (Sorry, I'm not a fan of coconut.) Japanese, Thai, and Indian are some of my favorites.

Not gonna lie, I eat sushi at least twice a week.
