The Nintega Guy: For the two legendary mascots, the two that make games what they are, the red and blue, the. . .

Neptune: It's for Mario and Sonic, we get it!

The Nintega Guy: *nervous chuckle* For Mario and Sonic, ErikSoto16 asks you guys: In the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, what was it like to be stuck inside of a retro game for the first time and how did you two react?

Neptune: Heh. . . retro. My kind of style.

Sonic: Dude, it was weird and I mean really weird, but I was also full of a lot of nostalgia.

Mario: Me too. It felt like I was just on my very-a first adventure in the Mushroom Kingdom.

Sonic: And being digitized like that also made me want to run through the Green Hill Zone again. It just gave us that feeling that we wanted to go back to the 90's. Just when I was first battling Eggman.

Joker: What were your games like in the 90's?

Mario: That was the time that we. . . well-a Sonic was born in 1991, I was born in-a 1981. My game involved saving Pauline from-a Donkey Kong. It was a huge classic.

Twilight Sparkle: So you're games are 10 years older than Sonic's.

Sonic: His games may be older than mine, but I was specifically made to beat this plumber.

Mario: A scrolling game that's-a faster and easier. . . big deal.

Sonic: Yeah, it IS a big deal, that's how I became the fastest thing alive and the greatest thing games have ever seen.

The Nintega Guy: Yeah, until the early 2000's when you lost the console wars.

Sonic: Whatever, I'm still a legend to this day.

The Nintega Guy: You're lucky actually. The movie saved your reputation right after Sonic Forces.

Neptune: Don't listen to him, Sonic. You're games will always be the best in my eyes.

Sonic: Heh, thanks Neptune. I'll remember that.

Joker: And it was also because of that Sonic existed, that I was able to come into gaming as well.

Sonic: Aw, come on you guys. You're making me blush.

Twilight Sparkle: I have one question for you though Sonic.

Sonic: Yeah? What is it?

Twilight Sparkle: If your so original compared to Mario, then why is an anagram of your name. . . "coins."

Sonic: Wait, what?!

The Nintega Guy: Ooooh! She's got you there, Sonic!

Mario: I suppose that you admire the coins that I collect over the years that-a your developers named you after-a them?

Sonic: NO WAY! Rings are better! Especially how they look in the 90's! I am no way associated with your games at all!

Neptune: I don't know. . . it very fishy. Are you sure you're not an inspiration.

Sonic: 100% accurate. . . I think. . .

Joker: If you excuse us ErikSoto16 we're about to do some research to see if Sonic is really just the try hard version of Mario.

Sonic: I AM NOT!!
