3rd POV

Khiry & Mordred are actually facing his father... & mother. Khiry is impressed with them.

Khiry: The facial features are uncanny.

Artoria then left and Morgan then smiled.

Morgan: My, Mordred. I wasn't expecting you to have a man.

Khiry & Mordred are blushing. Morgan then went to Mordred.

Morgan(Whispered): Quickly take him, & you might be solid as King.

Mordred did the unthinkable & pushed his mother back.

Mordred: My desire is not to be king.

Morgan then sighed out of disappointment. She looked at Khiry and smirked.

Morgan: You better keep him before he leaves you.

Morgan then leaves, causing Khiry to grab Mordred's shoulder.

Khiry: I am not leaving you. Come on, the others are waiting for us.

Mordred is feeling a bit jealous of the words from his mother.

Mordred: Yeah.

After that, Khiry & Mordred then joined back with the group. Both Khiry's group & Naofumi's group are in the fields.

Khiry: Alright. Naofumi, we should split up when it comes to these types of events. That way, we can obey the rules.

Naofumi: Okay. See you in a bit.

Khiry then took his group & headed to a different spot. Khiry then saw the purple slimes start to spawn. The group then sees many purple slimes.

Blaze: There are a lot of purple slimes, master.

Khiry: With an infinite respawn, this is an all-you-can-grind buffet. 

Fran: Slimes are weak?

Khiry then takes a regular dagger & throws it, killing it in one shot with an EXP. 1,080 for the whole party.

Khiry: With our party multiplier, we should be in the higher levels in no time. Spread out & easily beat the hoards.

They then spread out the enemies, from slimes to a few monsters, which started to get bored.

Fran: No challenge...

Mordred: She's right, Khiry.

Khiry: We'll be bored with this grind. I do know there are other islands. Maybe they possess some enemies with a challenge.

After saying that, Khiry's group then went to the spot where his & Naofumi's group separated. Naofumi's group then returned to us.

Khiry: What took you so long?

Naofumi then points behind him, causing Khiry to look & see the other heroes. Khiry then looked bored. They then took a few boats and Filo was swimming next to them. They made it to the island. Khiry then dodged the enemy while Naofumi blocked it.

Filo: You're going down!

Filo kicked the beast and Blaze then punched his head to the ground. Naofumi then saw Exp. 29,250. He is astounded by the number, but then sees Exp x9 next to his name as well as the others. 

Naofumi: Hey, Khiry. Did you also get a x9 experience multiplier?

Khiry: Actually, that came from me. You see, I gain a multiplier with every party member, this includes your party. 

Naofumi: Do I have to be in your party?

Khiry: No, you just have to be next to me.

Naofumi: Still, that's a lot, even for a boss fight like that.

Filo: I like this island a lot better 'cause fighting stuff here is so much more fun!

Raphtalia: Master Naofumi.

Raphtalia show Naofumi & Khiry her sword.

Raphtalia: I don't know how much longer this sword will last.

Naofumi: When did that happen? 

Khiry: I believe your power levels outgrown the durability. It's not just your sword, Filo's claws, & Blaze's gauntlets. 

Naofumi: We'll just have to make sure to buy you two some new weapons before the next Wave hits... unless...

Naofumi then looked at Khiry as if he knew about the idea.

Khiry: That is up to you for that decision.

Naofumi: You don't mind?

Khiry: Not at all.

Naofumi: Come on, we've still got plenty of time.

Khiry: We should get some loot from these beasts.

Naofumi then grabbed a piece of the Karma dog & put it in his shield. It then granted Raphtalia Karma Swords & Filo Claws.

Naofumi: There we are. Those should keep you goin' for a little longer.

Raphtalia: This is perfect, thank you!

Filo: Yeah, Master. Thanks a lot!

Khiry then looked up.

Khiry: Let's head back. It's getting dark.

Naofumi: Nah, not just yet.

After that, Khiry took down a Chimera, He looked to see that the Chimera could unlock a weapon type. He then takes a few strings of its mane & puts it into his jewel to unlock Tiger claws. He then changes into Deva. At nighttime, Deva, Naofumi & the group were getting a lot of drops.

Naofumi: I had a feeling we'd get some better drops after nightfall.

Deva: Enemies are a lot stronger, though.

Raphtalia: But we're used to fighting in the dark, so we can handle whatever we come up against. But, what really worries me...

Naofumi: Huh?

Raphtalia: Master Naofumi, you still look awfully tired. Are you?

Naofumi: So it's obvious. Since using Blood Sacrifice, my body's still feeling the curse. Just a little. It's nothing to worry about. I'm not gonna push it, & I can handle the enemies on this island.

There was rustling behind Deva as she then threw a rock at the bushes as there was a thud.

Deva: I hit something

L'Arc: No. someone.

L'Arc & Therese showed up with L'Arc's hand on his head.

Raphtalia: Why are you out here in the middle of the night?

Therese: The ferryman was starting to panic since you were staying out so late.

Naofumi: So you two decided to come look for us? Come on, it's not like adventurers dying on a quest is anything new.

L'Arc: That doesn't mean we're not gonna ignore you, 'cause I'd never be able to sleep at night if my associates were to turn up dead or missing.

Naofumi: "Associates"?

L'Arc: Well, yeah! What would you call us? You wouldn't say we're not, would you?

Naofumi: Well...

Therese: We haven't even been here a full day. I understand wanting to grind as fast as possible, but let's call it a night.

Deva: She's right. It is getting late.

Naofumi: Deva...

Deva: We can grind tomorrow.

Naofumi: All right then. Let's head back.

L'Arc: Very well. In that case...

L'Arc wrapped his arm around Naofumi.

L'Arc: D'ya care to join me for a drink?

Naofumi then looked at Deva, but she shook her head. However, he sighed, knowing L'Arc just smiled. They are now at a small pub where the patrons are chattering & pleasant are playing their music. 

L'Arc: To our safe return! Cheers!

L'Arc is drinking the whole mug.

L'Arc: Hey barkeeper, gimme another!

Owner: Coming!

Naofumi seems calm as Astolfo & Filo are singing, Fran is looking at Motoyasu being tipsy, and Deva & Raphtalia have been given wine from Deva's barrel (s)he brought. Both of them then drank the mug, but one of Itsuki's members, Mald, bumped into Raphtalia. Mald & Raphtalia decided to arm wrestle. Mald is struggling while Raphtalia doesn't look amused. Raphtalia then slammed his hand to the table, winning the match.

Khiry POV

I drank a lot of water to flush out the alcohol from my system.

Me: Raphtalia, tell Naofumi I'm heading to bed.

Therese: Huh? Are you sure?

Me: Positive.

I then leave for the night as I change back to my normal self.

Me: I am not great with liquor.

???: You.

I then looked to see Artoria.

Me: King Arthur.

Artoria: Why are you with her?

Me: Huh?

Artoria: You are hanging around Mordred. Why are you with her?

Me: Because she is my partner.

Artoria: She wanted to take over my throne.

Me: She never desired the throne.

Artoria is a bit confused.

Me: She changes.

Artoria: How can you be so sure?

Me: We talk about her true goals.

Artoria: Goals...?

Me: You know, you could make up to her.

Artoria: You know what she did to me.

Me: Let me tell you something. That fight was your fault. You need to understand that she wanted to be acknowledged as your son. Sure, it was not your fault for her to be born, but it was never in her control. It is not too late to try to be a father.

Artoria: How would you know?

Me: My father made it up for the time he couldn't spend with me when I was young. But I know, deep down, he still loves me as his son. I hope you can learn from your mistakes & make amends.

I then walked away from Artoria to my room, but I felt her hand on my shoulder. I then looked at her.

Artoria: Please... take care of my son.

Me: Only if you try to be in her life. But I promise you that.

Artoria then let go as I looked at her & secretly scanned Artoria Pendragon.

Me: What the...?

I then saw Artoria leaving me and I was surprised by that many unlocks.

((Note: Khiry's eyes automatically scan servants if he doesn't have his black gem or any weapon in his hands. He ONLY needs to look at the Servant's face. Also, He did look at Morgan earlier because her face was shown.))

I then went to my room as I do have a sudden feeling to make homemade bombs with a few eggs.

((DONE! KHIRY ASKED ARTORIA TO AT LEAST BE A FATHER TO MORDRED, EVEN IF IT IS TOO LATE. WILL ARTORIA FULFILL HER END OF THE PROMISE IF KHIRY TAKES CARE OF MORDRED? UNTIL THEN, STAY SHOCKING!))
