Zee was shocked as she suddenly found herself standing on the precipice of a breathtaking landscape, bathed in the soft glow of an otherworldly light. The air was filled with the sweet scent of flowers and the gentle rustle of leaves, a symphony of nature that seemed to dance in harmony with the very essence of the world itself.

Before her stood a figure of radiant beauty, their form shrouded in celestial light that shimmered like the stars themselves. Their eyes sparkled with wisdom and kindness, their presence filling Zee with a sense of awe and reverence.

"Welcome, child of destiny," the celestial figure spoke, their voice a melodic melody that seemed to echo through the very fabric of reality. "I have been expecting you."

Zee's heart raced with excitement as she gazed upon the celestial being before her, their presence filling her with a sense of purpose that she had never known before. "Who are you?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

The celestial figure smiled, a warm and gentle expression that seemed to envelop Zee in its embrace. "I am a messenger of the Celestial Cities," they replied, their voice filled with an otherworldly grace. "I have come to share with you a prophecy of great importance."

As the celestial figure spoke, the world around them seemed to shimmer and shift, revealing images of events yet to come. Zee watched in awe as the prophecy unfolded before her eyes, each vision more wondrous and awe-inspiring than the last.

"You are destined for greatness, child," the celestial figure proclaimed, their voice ringing with certainty. "But your path will be fraught with challenges, because you have many that will stand against you in your mission."

The celestial figure turned a gentle smile towards Zee before, without warning, they started speaking once again. This time the celestial spoke in riddles that confused Zee.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In whispers woven through the night, A prophecy unfolds its light. Of shadowed lands and souls entwined, Where destinies in secret bind.
Through fields of gold and skies of blue, A tale of love both old and new. But in the heart of light's embrace, Lurk's shadows cast a somber trace.
A cherished one, beloved, dear, Shall fall beneath the veil of fear. Their presence fades, a silent sigh, As dreams of love begin to die.
Of those we love and those we lost, in the end there will be a pricey cost
Yet in the depths where darkness thrives, A figure lingers, whispers thrive. The Dark, with a cunning eye, Takes hold of power, reigns on high.
But fate's own hand, a silent force, Unravels schemes, diverts the course. For shadows fade, and light prevails, As hope resurges, love unveils.
In echoes of the prophecy, A tale of loss and victory. For though the road is fraught with strife, In the end, it leads to life.
As the celestial figure finished speaking, the landscape around them began to fade, the ethereal light dimming as Zee's consciousness began to return to the waking world. But even as the dream slipped away, the memory of the prophecy remained etched in her mind, it stayed as something spinning around and around in her head.
Zee stirred from the depths of her slumber, her heart racing with the remnants of her dream. Images of the celestial figure and the prophecy swirled through her mind, leaving her breathless and disoriented.
With a gasp, Zee sat bolt upright, her chest heaving as she struggled to catch her breath. Sweat beaded on her brow, her hands trembling with the residual fear that lingered from her dream.
Cali stirred beside her, her eyes fluttering open as she sensed Zee's distress. "Zee, what's wrong?" she asked, her voice laced with concern.
Zee shook her head, her words catching in her throat as she tried to make sense of the chaos that churned within her mind. "It was... it was just a dream," she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper. But even as she spoke the words, she couldn't shake the feeling of unease that lingered within her.
Cali reached out a hand, her touch gentle as she brushed a lock of hair away from Zee's face. "It's okay, Zee," she said, her voice soothing in the quiet of the early morning. "You're safe now. I'm here, and I won't let anything hurt you." Cali gave a smile and gentle giggle at her own words.
But Zee couldn't shake the feeling of dread that clung to her like a shadow, the memory of the prophecy still fresh in her mind. "I-I-It felt so real," she whispered, her voice trembling with uncertainty. "Like it was trying to tell me something, something very, very important about the future."
Cali nodded in understanding, her eyes filled with empathy as she reached out to wrap Zee in a comforting embrace. "Sometimes dreams can be like that," she murmured, her voice a gentle reassurance in the darkness. "But they're just dreams, Zee. They can't hurt you."
Zee buried her face in Cali's shoulder, her tears mingling with the warmth of her friend's embrace. In that moment, she felt a flicker of hope amidst the chaos of her thoughts, a reminder that she was not alone in her struggles.
With Cali by her side, Zee took a deep breath, her trembling slowly subsiding as she regained control of her emotions. "Thank you, Cali," she whispered, her voice filled with gratitude. "I don't know what I would do without you."
"Most likely die," Cali said with a giggle, "no... you'd figure it'd all out without me, it'd just take a while but you'd get it done, I believe in you to figure it all out though".
Emeriss set about preparing breakfast for himself, Zee, and Cali. With deft movements, he gathered ingredients from their meager supplies, his celestial aura casting a soft glow over the makeshift kitchen.
Zee watched with a grateful smile as Emeriss worked, her stomach growling in anticipation of the meal to come. "Thank you, Emeriss," she said, her voice filled with appreciation. "I didn't realize you were a cook as well."
Emeriss inclined his head in acknowledgment, a faint smile playing at the corners of his lips. "My mother taught me a very long time ago, before all this ever came to be," he replied, his voice a soothing presence in the quiet of the cavern.
Zee, Cali, and Emeriss gathered around the makeshift table to share their morning meal. Despite the hardships they faced, there was a sense of respect that bound them together- for the time being at least, a shared bond that transcended the trials of their journey.
After breakfast, Cali made her way back to the chamber, hesitantly casting a gaze over her shoulder towards Zee to make sure she was ok before continuing to where they had encountered Morth'khania, her curiosity piqued by the ancient tomes and artifacts that lined the walls. With a sense of determination, she set about exploring the vast collection of knowledge that lay within.
As she pored over the dusty tomes and faded scrolls, Cali's eyes widened with wonder at the wealth of information that lay before her. Each page held secrets untold, mysteries waiting to be unraveled by her insatiable thirst for knowledge.
Lost in her studies, Cali barely noticed the passage of time as she delved deeper into the arcane mysteries that surrounded her. The hours slipped by in a blur, the flickering torchlight casting eerie shadows across the chamber as she lost herself in the pursuit of understanding.
However, as Cali perused the ancient tomes in the dimly lit chamber, her eyes fell upon a weathered book tucked away in the corner of a dusty shelf. Intrigued by its faded cover and the ornate script that adorned its pages, she reached out a trembling hand to retrieve it.
As she flipped through the brittle pages, her heart quickened with excitement at the phenomenal content of this book. The book spoke of a time long ago when the celestials and the underworld clashed in a cataclysmic war that shook the very foundations of existence.
In hushed tones, Cali read of the celestial beings who had descended from the Celestial Cities to wage war against the forces of darkness that threatened to engulf the world in shadow. Their radiant forms clashed with the legions of demons that rose up to oppose them, their battle cries echoing through the heavens like thunder.
But even as the celestial beings fought with courage and determination, they soon realized that victory would not come without sacrifice. For every Firlarth they vanquished, another rose to take its place, their numbers seemingly endless in their relentless pursuit of destruction.
As Cali delved deeper into the pages of the book, she learned of the sacrifices made by both sides in the name of victory. Celestial warriors fell in battle, their radiant forms extinguished by the darkness that sought to consume them. Firlarthic legions were decimated by the divine wrath of their celestial adversaries, their once mighty armies reduced to ashes in the wake of their defeat.
But amidst the chaos and carnage of war, there were whispers of hope, of a prophecy that foretold of a chosen one who would rise up to lead their people to victory. A being of both celestial and infernal descent, destined to unite the warring factions and bring an end to the centuries-old conflict that threatened to tear the world apart.
As Cali closed the ancient tome, the weight of its revelations settled heavily upon her mind. She glanced around the dimly lit chamber, her thoughts swirling with the implications of the celestial-demonic war she had just read about.
Zee and Emeriss stood nearby, their expressions a mixture of curiosity and concern as they watched Cali's reaction to her discovery. "What did you find?" Zee asked, her voice filled with curiosity, but one could still catch a hint of fear because of what had happened the last time she was in the room they were standing in.
Cali took a deep breath, her mind racing as she struggled to find the words to convey the gravity of what she had learned. "It's... it's a book about the Celestial-Firlarthic war," she began, her voice trembling with emotion. "It tells of the battles fought between the forces of light and darkness, and of the sacrifices made by both sides in their quest for victory."
Zee and Emeriss exchanged a wary glance, their thoughts mirroring Cali's own as they contemplated the implications of the ancient conflict. "Do you think... Do you think that creature and the prophecy you said the celestial told me is all connected to this war?" Zee asked, her voice barely above a whisper and her eyes darting around the dimly lit room for any signs of movement.
Emeriss's brow furrowed in confusion, his mind wrestling with the implications of what they had discovered. For as long as he could remember, he had been taught that no Celestial had fallen in the war between the heavens and the underworld, their numbers believed to be too vast and powerful for such losses to even start to be possible.
But as he gazed into the dark nothingness around him, he couldn't shake the feeling of unease that gnawed at the edges of his consciousness. If what they had read in the ancient tome was true, then the celestial-demonic war had taken a toll far greater than he had ever imagined or had ever been allowed to believe.
Zee approached him, her eyes filled with concern as she studied his troubled expression. "Are you alright, Emeriss?" she asked, her voice gentle and reassuring, yet still shaking because this place made her constantly on edge.
Emeriss shook his head, his thoughts a tumultuous whirlwind of doubt and uncertainty. "I... I don't understand," he admitted, his voice tinged with confusion. "We were always taught that no Celestial died in the war because of their numbers and might. But if that's true, why does the prophecy speak of a chosen one who will unite the celestial and demonic realms? How would two realms that are opposites of each other learn to unite under one ruler? Oh, the riddles and wonderings of the ancients make life so confusing at times, what does it all even mean?"
Zee placed a comforting hand on his shoulder, her touch a soothing balm against the turmoil of his thoughts. "I don't know," she admitted, her voice tinged with uncertainty. "But perhaps there is more to the war than we have been led to believe. Perhaps some secrets have been hidden from us that need to be uncovered."
Cali nodded, she had remained silent from the question as her heart lay heavy with the weight of the knowledge she had uncovered. "I think it's indeed possible that it's all connected," she replied, her voice tinged with uncertainty. "The prophecy speaks of a chosen one who will unite the celestial and demonic realms and bring an end to the war. And I can't help but wonder if that chosen one is one of us."
Emeriss stepped forward, and he let out a little bit of a laugh, "What Celestial or Firlarthic would kneel to any mortal," he said. He turned and looked at Zee, "sorry to any mortal or hybrid."
Zee simply rolled her eyes, "It never says it is one of us so we don't have any good reason to get concerned yet. Lay aside the fact that we know very little about the prophecy and we could just be digging for something that's not there. Who knows, maybe this is all a big misunderstanding and we're not even supposed to be here."
Zee's fervent words trailed off into a heavy silence, broken only by the soft echo of her voice bouncing off the craggy walls of the cave. In the stillness, she became acutely aware of the rhythmic hum that resonated through the chamber, like a gentle ripple on the surface of a tranquil pond.
Turning her attention towards the source of the sound, Zee found Cali, her eyes closed in quiet concentration as she hummed a familiar melody. The notes wove together in a delicate tapestry, filling the cavern with a serene harmony that seemed to transcend the confines of their rocky surroundings.
As Zee listened, she felt the tension that had coiled within her chest begin to unravel, replaced by a sense of calm that washed over her like a soothing balm. The melody wrapped around her like a warm embrace, enveloping her in its gentle embrace and easing the knots of frustration that had knotted her muscles.
With each passing note, the cavern seemed to come alive, the walls pulsing with the vibrant energy of the music. The echoes of Cali's humming danced along the cragged edges of the cave, forming a symphony of sound that filled the chamber with a sense of peace and tranquility.
For a moment, Zee closed her eyes and allowed herself to be carried away by the melody, letting it wash over her like a gentle tide. She breathed in deeply, the cool air filling her lungs as she let go of the worries and frustrations that had plagued her thoughts.
When she finally opened her eyes again, she found Cali watching her with a gentle smile, her eyes shining with warmth and understanding. Without a word, Zee returned the smile, her heart filled with gratitude for her friend's unwavering support.
"Zee, I don't know anything for certain but what I do know is that I want to know more," Cali said calmly, "I don't wanna leave this place until I have a real answer about what's going on... now I get you're nervous and frightened after what happened, but it'll be ok, and if you start seeing the figures or hearing the voices please tell me so I can help you before you go into another panic attack."
After saying this, Cali gently motioned for Zee to follow her further into the cave as she began walking. Zee was hesitant and her feet felt like they had been tied to the floor with heavy stones holding them in place. Emeriss followed slowly, and as he looked back to check on Zee, she began to follow them.
As they ventured deeper into the cavernous depths, the weight of their newfound knowledge hung heavy in the air. Cali led the way, her steps purposeful as she navigated the winding passages with a sense of determination born from the revelations of the ancient tome.
Emeriss followed close behind, his celestial aura casting a soft glow that illuminated their path through the darkness. His mind buzzed with thoughts of the celestial-demonic war and the role they were destined to play in its resolution.
Zee brought up the rear, her heart heavy with the weight of the prophecy that loomed over them like a shadow. She couldn't shake the feeling of unease that gnawed at the edges of her consciousness, a sense of foreboding that whispered of trials yet to come.
As they ventured deeper into the heart of the cavern, they came upon a chamber bathed in an ethereal light that seemed to emanate from the very walls themselves. In the center of the chamber stood a pedestal, upon which rested a mysterious artifact of celestial and elvish design.
The artifact was crafted from a material that seemed to shimmer with an otherworldly radiance, it glowed with an ethereal light that cast intricate patterns of illumination upon the cavern walls. Runes of celestial origin adorned its surface, their symbols pulsating with a faint luminescence that hinted at the power contained within.
As Zee approached, she could feel the weight of its presence bearing down upon her, a palpable force that stirred something primal within her soul. The air crackled with energy, charged with the promise of both destruction and salvation.
Though she could not fully comprehend its purpose, there was no denying the weapon's potential. It seemed to hum with latent power, its very essence vibrating with the fury of a tempest waiting to be unleashed.
Cali also approached the pedestal with cautious and fearful reverence, her fingers tracing the intricate patterns etched into its surface. "This must be what we're looking for," she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper.
Emeriss nodded in agreement, his eyes alight with curiosity as he examined the artifact. "It appears to be of celestial origin," he observed, his voice tinged with awe. "But why a blade and why is it celestial?"
Cali stepped forward, her eyes alight with determination as she studied the artifact before them. "I'm not sure," she admitted, her voice filled with uncertainty. "But I have a feeling that it holds the key to unlocking some part of that prophecy Zee was told."
With a sense of trepidation, Zee reached out a hand to touch the artifact, her fingers tingling with a strange energy as they made contact with its surface. In that moment, a blinding light filled the chamber, enveloping them in its radiant embrace.
As the light faded, the three companions found themselves standing in a place that seemed to exist outside of time and space. Before them stretched a vast expanse of celestial beauty, the stars twinkling like diamonds in the velvet sky above.
Zee's heart swelled with wonder at the sight before her, a sense of awe washing over her as she gazed upon the celestial realm in all its splendor. "It's... it's beautiful," she breathed, her voice filled with reverence.
Emeriss nodded in agreement, his eyes shining with a sense of wonder as he beheld the majesty of the celestial realm. "Indeed," he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper. "But we must tread carefully, for this is a place of great power and danger."
Cali took a deep breath, her heart pounding with excitement as she prepared to embark on the next leg of their journey. "Let's find the answers we seek," she said, her voice filled with determination.
Zee, Emeriss, and Cali took hesitant steps forward, their footsteps echoing softly against the pristine ground beneath their feet. The air was alive with a vibrant energy, charged with the power of creation and possibility.
"This... this is truly incredible," Zee breathed, her voice barely above a whisper as she gazed upon the celestial realm in all its glory, all of her timidness and fear seemed to melt away in this place... like someone had taken the weight off her shoulders and ensured her it'd be ok as long as she kept her head up. "I never imagined that such beauty could exist."
Emeriss nodded in agreement, his celestial aura casting a soft glow that illuminated their surroundings. "It is beyond anything I have ever seen," he murmured, his voice tinged with awe. "Truly, this place is a testament to the power and majesty of the celestials."
Cali's eyes sparkled with excitement as she took in the sights before her, her heart pounding with exhilaration at the thought of exploring this wondrous realm. "Let's not waste any time," she declared, her voice filled with determination. "We have a prophecy to unravel to figure out what that creature was and why he was angry...and we must learn more about the war."
With a sense of purpose, the trio set out into the celestial plane, their footsteps guided by the light of the stars above. As they journeyed deeper into the heart of the realm, they encountered beings of celestial origin, their forms radiant and luminous against the backdrop of the night sky.
The celestial beings greeted them with kindness and curiosity, save that of Zee... which they shunned and wouldn't have anything to do with. Zee was nervous because she could see some of the celestials whispering as if they were scheming against her, but she tried to let it go and pass it off as overthinking.
But as they slaved over the ancient script, they soon realized that the answers they sought were not easily found. The prophecy was shrouded in mystery and riddles, its meaning obscured by layers of symbolism and allegory.
Frustration gnawed at the edges of their consciousness as they struggled to make sense of the cryptic passages before them. But even in the face of adversity, they refused to give up hope, drawing strength from the bonds of friendship and determination that bound them together.
The trio's innocent pursuit of knowledge was abruptly disrupted by the unwelcome intrusion of discontented celestials. Their once serene research environment was tainted by an atmosphere of tension and discomfort. Among them stood Zee, a figure whose presence seemed to evoke a palpable sense of disdain among these celestial beings.
As the trio delved deeper into their studies, the disapproval towards Zee became increasingly apparent. It was as though her mere existence grated against the sensibilities of these celestial entities. Despite her best efforts to remain composed, Zee couldn't help but flinch at the barrage of disparaging remarks hurled her way.
The atmosphere grew thick with animosity as the celestials openly expressed their disdain for Zee. Their words, like arrows aimed at her spirit, pierced through the air, leaving wounds that no amount of resilience could fully heal. Each jeer, each defaming word, felt like a blow to her already fragile sense of belonging.
Despite the trio's attempts to shield Zee from the onslaught of negativity, the weight of their hostility bore down heavily upon her. It was a stark reminder of the inherent challenges that often accompanied the pursuit of knowledge, especially when one's presence was viewed as an affront to the established order.
In the face of adversity, Zee struggled to maintain her composure, her resolve wavering under the relentless assault of criticism. Yet, amidst the chaos, there flickered a glimmer of resilience and defiance within her. "Who were these celestials to attack the daughter of death?" she wondered to herself, she was royalty and no one could take that from her, not even these stuck up celestials.
