Rain fell upon the city as a lone figure approached an apartment building with loose bricks and broken windows. Clutching the bundle in her paws protectively, the cat slowly walked up the steps and stood in front of the door. Ever so carefully, she placed the bundle down on the doorstep and pulled back the pink blanket to reveal a small gray kitten.

"Be safe little sister," the cat whispered, kissing the kitten's forehead gently before adding, "I know you're destined for greatness." Without another word, she got up on her paws and, hesitating at first, pressed the doorbell. Looking at her young sister one last time, the cat raced off into the dark night just as the door opened.

Looking around, the border collie was about to shut the door when a small meow caught her attention. Confused, she looked down to find a gray kitten wrapped in a pink blanket. Gasping, she quickly grabbed the bundle and held it close. Trying to soothe the tiny creature, the border collie glanced around in the falling rain before heading back inside with the kitten.
