I apologize that Levi is a bit OOC..

(Follows the "A Choice With No Regrets" plot line)

"Isabel, Farlan, Y/N, split up! It'll be harder for them to catch us." Levi calls out, the three of you nodding. You were currently running from the Survey Corps who were trying to arrest you and your "gang."

You cover your head as you break through an already shattered window in an old building. You gasp for air, trying to regain your breath. The room was filled with silence, and it sounded as if you had thrown the soldiers off. You sit down, your hands shaking as your heart pounds in your chest.

"They must have followed the others." You think to yourself.

You stand back up as sudden yelling can be heard from the street. You creep towards the side of the building with no wall, peering at the street.

Levi was on his knees, and Farlan and Isabel were being held back by some of the Survey Corps. The man was asking Levi questions. You couldn't bear to watch. How did they catch Levi so easily?

Levi sees you, and looks back at the blond who stood in front of Levi. They all turn their heads to where you were standing, and you leap to hide behind a wall.

"You know you didn't catch all of us!" Isabel shouts, struggling against the man's grip. The man simply chuckles.

"We aren't worried about catching all of you. We just wanted the leader. I'm sure the last one will be just as easy to catch. Either that or they'll just turn themselves in from fear." He explains, holding his sword out. You gulp.

They hauled Levi and the others away, you still frozen with fear. What were you going to do?

(A Few Weeks or so Later)

It had been about a month now. You were alone in the Underground District, hungry, cold, and depressed. You missed Levi more than ever, the two of you being close. You heard that Levi and the others had joined the Survey Corps, but you doubted it to be true. Levi would never do something like that.

Your thoughts were interrupted as your door was knocked down with loud banging. You held your swords tightly in your hands.

"Y/N L/N?" The voice called out. It seemed familiar- you just couldn't remember from where. "We are here for your arrest. You have been accused of stealing and being part of an infamous gang. Surrender now or die here!"

That's when it hit you. It was the blond man who took Levi and the others. Outraged, you rush forwards, attempting to slash your sword. The man pushes his blade against yours, knocking you backwards. It was obvious that he was much stronger, considering the fact that you were extremely weak from your lack of food and sunlight.

You try to get up to fight, but you were surrounded. Sighing, you drop your blades and stand up. Two of the soldiers grab your arms and lead you out of the door.

"Now, Y/N," the man begins, turning his head to you. "I am quite impressed with your skills, considering you hid from us for a month and still put up a fight considering your health. I will extend to you the invitation to join the Survey Corps. If you decline your trial will continue on and you will still have an execution. What do you say?"

You pause. This must have been why Levi joined the Survey Corps if he had received the same offer. It all makes sense now.

"I accept."

You walked into the new room that you were staying in. These new surroundings felt unusual, especially the sunlight. It was beautiful.

You saw a small figure ahead of you, who had been sitting down at a table. They had sort of a sad aura around them, and you were curious why.

"Hi," you begin sheepishly, "I'm Y/N, I'm sort of new here." You smile softly, hoping to get the person's attention.

You jump as the man whips his head around and stands up. It was Levi.

"L-Levi?" You gasp, hugging him. Levi is also startled when you rush to hug him, but he sighs and hugs you back, resting his chin on your shoulder.

"I missed you so much, Y/N. I didn't know what I was going to do after Isabel and Farlan died." He murmurs, as tears run down your cheeks.

"They died?" You gasp, sniffling.

"Yes from Titans. But that's not important now. What matters is that you're here and you're safe." He whispers, releasing you.

Levi does the most unusual thing ever- he smiles.

"Promise to never leave me again."

"I promise."

And with that he pulls you into a kiss.
