(Sorry if it's a bit short)

You toss and turn in your bunk as you fight to sleep. It felt nearly impossible to receive any sleep whatsoever considering the obnoxious snores and the overall anxiety of being a Cadet.

Normally on nights like these, you'd talk to Mikasa or Sasha and that'd help you rest, but they had both fallen asleep before you even had a chance. You groan and pull your pillow to your face.

Suddenly you hear noises outside of the door. It sounded like a mixture of yelling and sobbing.

"Eren we need to go back to bed! Shadis will catch us!" Armin's groggy yet tired voice warns.

A few sniffles could be heard before the other person could respond. "Armin I can't. If you would've seen the things I saw, you wouldn't want to go back." Eren mumbles, sniffling.

Armin sighs. "Eren it's just a nightmare. It's not real." He reassures, yawning afterwards.

Eren says nothing in response, but glares at the ground.

"I'll be in my room if you decide to come back." Armin explains, leaving Eren by himself.

Concerned, you decide to investigate. You slowly pick off your covers and quietly sneak out of bed. Your feet lightly hit the floor as you carefully turn the door knob.

As you close the door behind you, you see Eren sitting on the floor, hugging his knees. His cheeks were tear stained, and his hair was one big mess.

"Y/N?" Eren sniffles, startling you. You softly smile, sitting beside Eren.

"I'm sorry I woke you." He murmurs, rubbing his eyes.

"No worries, I couldn't sleep anyways. Besides, this is far too important. What happened?" You question.

Eren hesitates and glares at the floor in terror. Tears begin rolling down his cheeks again as he buries his head in his knees. Seeing that he needed some comfort, you wrap your arms around him, pulling him close to you.

He looks up at you, as you wipe his tears. "It's okay, Eren. I'm here for you." You whisper to him, as he hugs you back, still sobbing.

"I had a nightmare. First it was my mom being e-eaten. Then it was Armin, and Mikasa. Finally you tried to save them and they-." Eren struggles to speak, burying his head on your shoulder.

"Eren, Armin's here, Mikasa's here, and I'm still here." You smile as Eren shakes his head.

"I know you're here now, but what about later? I can't afford to lose my friends, especially you, Y/N." He exclaims between sobs.

"We'll be fine Eren, but you need to watch out for yourself. It'll hurt me if I were to lose you much more than you would think." You say, when you notice Eren begins to calm down.

"Really?"

You nod. "I'll be with you Eren, 'till the end of the line."
