"Welcome back, folks. As we're reaching the final stretch, it's time to unveil the last Opening of the series," Ray announces following a brief break.

"The last Opening already... time really flies, doesn't it?" Armin muses.

"And it looks like everything's heading toward its conclusion," Eren adds, his tone reflecting a sense of determination.

"So, what kind of song are we looking at?" Erwin inquires.

"We've got Linked Horizon returning for this one. It's called 'Saigo no Kyojin,' which translates to 'The Last Titan,'" Ray reveals.

"Linked Horizon's tunes are always a breed apart. We've experienced five of their tracks already. I'm curious about what they've got in store this time," Petra comments, her anticipation evident.

"The Last Titan... now that's an intriguing title," Hange adds, her scientific curiosity piqued.

The scene unfolded with a tiny Eren cradled in Carla's arms, his eyes fluttering open in the soft light. He extended his tiny hand, reaching out toward his departing father.

Nanika ga hoshikute (Wanting something)
Nobashita te wa tasogare ni somaru (My outstretched hand is dyed in twilight)

The scene transitioned abruptly to Eren, his hand raised in a determined salute, blood seeping out from it, a stark contrast against the street's backdrop. Several pure Titans loomed closer, their approach ominous. In a tense moment, Eren began his transformation as the imminent threat of the Titans closed in around him.

Dokoka ee ikitakute kakeda shita ashi de (Wanting to go somewhere, I ran with weary legs)

In the form of the Attack Titan, Eren surged ahead, his stride purposeful and determined. The screen zoomed in on his foot, and within it, the gaze of Founder Ymir stared back, an enigmatic and haunting presence. The tension built as the scene faded into black.

Dareka wo fumitsubushita (Trample people to dust)

"Eren... Mom... Dad..." Eren's expression darkens at the sight of them on the screen once more.

"Kids singing again... It's reminiscent of that ending scene with Historia..." Ymir remarks.

The title screen emerged, featuring the backdrop of the plains where a 15-year-old Eren encountered Dina Yeager. The scene intermittently shifts between the setting on the plains and Eren clutching a bow and arrow on top of the wall. The sequence halted at Eren's moment, capturing him in the act of releasing an arrow engulfed in a vivid crimson light in different angles, then breaking the title.

Der letzte Titan (The final Titan)

"Whoa, wait a minute. Going back to that moment on the plains? What's the connection here? And now Eren with a bow and arrow? That should be Sasha's signature." Jean says.

"Hey, that doesn't mean I can't shoot." Eren glares back at him.

"That arrow... That crimson light around it seems ominous. Eren's determination is palpable. It feels like something crucial is about to unfold. But what could it signify?" Gunther asks.

As the arrow continued its trajectory, it unveiled scenes: the Colossal Titan looming behind the wall, Eren and Mikasa dashing through the streets, Eren confronting and dispatching the two traffickers, and then passionately urging Mikasa to fight alongside him.

Yumiya no you ni tobidashita (Let loose like an arrow)

The sequence progressed with Eren tenderly wrapping the scarf around Mikasa, followed by his initial transformation and subsequent battle against the Titans, showcasing his prowess. Then, the arrow's direction shifted abruptly, reversing from moving away from the scene to advancing directly towards it.

Jiyuu wo yumemita dorei wa (The slave that once dreamt of freedom)

The arrow underwent a sudden metamorphosis, morphing into a crimson bird that soared into the expansive sky, departing from the scene.

Ikutsumo no inochi miokutte (Watched many offered hearts pass on)

Kurenai ni somaru tori to naru (And became a bird drenched in red)

Eren and Mikasa appear somewhat tense after reliving the series of flashbacks. Levi remarks, "More flashbacks, huh?"

Ray interjects, "I should add that each line of the lyrics is connected to the previous openings: 'Guren no Yumiya,' 'Jiyuu no Tsubasa,' 'Shinzou wa Sasageyo,' and 'Red Swan.'"

"Wasn't 'Red Swan' sung by someone other than Linked Horizon? Are they still incorporating it?" Historia questions.

"I suppose it's because this is the final opening," Mike responds, offering his perspective.

Eren fixated his gaze forward, a determined resolve etched on his face, and then he lunged into motion, charging ahead. Below, the scene swiftly transitions, showcasing fragmented memories from the 57th expedition, culminating in the impactful moment of Bertolt being devoured by Armin. Concurrently, Eren detached his ODM gear, soaring upward with a sense of urgency.

Shikabane wo shikitsumeta michi wa (The road that piles up corpses)

Arasoi wo tadori umi wo koe (Crosses the seas following the wars)

Eren surged toward the towering Colossal Titan, blades poised for attack, and swiftly hurled something before an abrupt foot landing down disrupted the scene. The view shifted to reveal the entire colossal form of the Titan before transitioning to a landscape left trampled and devastated in its wake.

Tada ookiku chi wo narashi nagara (While simply trampling the earth loudly)

Sore demo susumi tsuzukeru (Even so, we keep moving forward)

"Here come the final three... 'Shoukei no Shikabane no Michi,' 'Boku no Sensou,' and 'The Rumbling,'" Armin remarks, displaying an air of fascination. "It's quite remarkable how they weave the titles of the openings together like that."

"And the transition from the battle of Trost to the Rumbling was quite surprising," Nifa adds.

The scene transitioned into the mysterious Paths, where a myriad of memories unfolded in a translucent display. Amidst these transparent memories, a 19-year-old Eren stood within the Paths, his figure not static but teetering before ultimately plummeting. From this ethereal realm, Eren returned to his world, embodying the Attack Titan form, and unleashed a resounding roar that echoed through the space.

Yoiyami no chihei de ne wo haru you ni (Sinking its roots into the horizon at dusk)

Dareka wo matsu (Waiting someone)

"More kids singing?" Connie questions, noting the recurring theme.

"And those memories within the paths, it's quite the collection," Reiner remarks.

The sequence began with a palm slowly clenching into a fist before transitioning to the Alliance gathering. It showcased Armin, followed by Reiner, raising his head with a resolute expression. The scene then shifted to Pieck, Annie, Gabi seated around a fireplace with Falco, each wearing a troubled frown. Next, it focused on Jean and Connie, Yelena and Onyankopon in the frame, followed by Hange sitting atop a wooden crate. Mikasa appeared, adorned with the familiar scarf and turning away. Finally, the scene concluded with Levi, showing only his eye as it opened up, hinting at a sense of determination or readiness.

Ore tachi wa dorei ja nee (We're not slaves)

Umareta toki kara jiyuu da (We've been free since birth)

Kyosei wo hatte kyokou wo ikiru (We push our limits, live in madness)

Shinjitsu ga, genjitsu ni naru made (Until truth becomes reality)

"Seems like it's up to us now," Jean remarks, acknowledging the responsibility they face.

"Why is Mikasa wearing the scarf again? That's curious," Hange questions, puzzled by the reappearance of the scarf.

Levi responds with a grunt, expressing his frustration, "Just great... I'm the only one who didn't reveal everything." His annoyance evident at being the only one not fully displayed in the sequence.

Mikasa, visibly perplexed, reflects on the oddity of wearing the scarf again after she had previously removed it.

The scene transitioned to Eren's awe-inspiring Founding Titan form, his eyes emanating a powerful glow. As the alliance confronted him, those possessing Titan forms underwent a transformation, while the others swiftly utilized their ODM gears in response. The sequence showcased each individual, their actions and determination, until it halted at Mikasa. Tears welled in her eyes as she swiftly descended, brandishing her blade in a decisive motion before Eren's face, letting out a loud roar.

Iki no ne wo (Kill me if you can)

Tomete miro (Show me your justice)

Kuchisaki dake no seigi ja todokanai (In more than just words)

Ore tachi wa (We will keep moving forward)

Susumi tsuzukeru! (Beyond the broken walls!)

The scene transitioned to various individuals against fiery backdrops, followed by a glimpse of Eren's sorrowful expression. Finally, it halted at a moment capturing the young Eren and young Ymir gazing at the land marked with the prints of the Colossal Titan.

Ray concludes the viewing, "That wraps up the TV Version. What are your thoughts?"

Armin ponders deeply, "The final scene we witnessed... does it imply that Mikasa is...?" Concern etches across his face as he turns to Mikasa, worried for her.

Erwin analyzes, "The lyrics seem to resonate with Eren's resolve in the Paths, refusing to halt the Rumbling. Watching the first two episodes beforehand sheds light on these connections."

"Even though we anticipated Hange's absence, the inclusion of others still raises questions," Historia muses, contemplating the significance of the scenes shown.

Mikasa grips Eren's hand tightly, her unease palpable. Eren senses her distress, understanding that she might play a crucial role in bringing it all to an end.

Ray announces, "Even though the viewing has concluded, it doesn't mark the end of the song. We'll be continuing with the song now."

Kono zankoku na kabe no sekai (In this cruel world of walls)

Tatoe doko ee nigetеmo (No matter where we try to escape)

Rakujitsu ni oware wa wo mogare (We crawl on a bed of fallen leaves at sunset)

Yoake no shi wo machiwabiru (Awaiting the death at dawn)

Ray announces, "And now, it's time for the ending. With the first four: 'Utsukushiki Zankoku na Sekai,' 'The Great Escape,' 'Yuugure no Tori,' and 'Akatsuki no Requiem.'"

Levi mutters gruffly, "These lyrics... they cut deep. There's a feeling of resignation, yet an unyielding determination to confront the harsh reality. No matter our efforts to break free, it's as if we're trapped in an unending loop of strife and hopelessness."

Toki ni ai no na wo azamuitе (At times deceiving under the name of love)

Shougeki to zetsubou wo kainarashi (We embrace shock and despair)

Tada akuma to sagesumare temo (Even if we're simply branded as demons)

Onaji ki no shita ni itakatta (We just wanted to live under the same tree)

Armin remarks, "Now we've covered 'Name of Love,' 'Shougeki,' 'Akuma no Ko,' and 'Under the Tree.' That completes all the endings up to this point."

In Eren's thoughts, he reflects, "Even if we're labeled as demons, our desire remains simple: to live together under that same tree... if only it were possible..."

Da ga kore wa osanai kanshou (If this is an immature feeling)

Nara ukeirete nomikome (Then accept it and swallow it down)

Sekai juu no mori wo narashitai nara (If you want to make the forests of the world resound)

Sekai wa ano ki wo mogitaosu (Then overturn that tree)

"Accepting immature feelings... it's like grappling with our vulnerabilities. Swallowing it down might mean enduring hardships for the sake of something bigger." Armin remarks.

"I agree. Accepting and embracing our vulnerabilities might be the key to altering the world's fate. It's a call to challenge the established norms for a greater cause." Historia nods in agreement

"Overturning something as big as a tree... it's a metaphor for changing what's considered unchangeable. It's bold, but it speaks to the Scouts' spirit." Nanaba says.

Hito no nozomi ga unda tooki itami (The distant pain born from human desires)

Jidai wo koete tsumi wa mawaru (Sins echoing through the ages)

Nara... "Machigatteiru no wa mou... Ore dake de ii" (So... "The one who's wrong is now... just me.")

Tada saigo no kyojin wa hitori hoeta (The last titan just crossed over alone)

Hange muses, her voice soft and contemplative. "It feels like witnessing history on an endless loop, bound by the weight of humanity's desires."

Mikasa's gaze falls, recognizing Eren's tendency to shoulder blame, even for the world's transgressions.

Armin, always perceptive to subtleties, interjects, "It's as if Eren perceives himself as isolated, carrying the world's destiny upon his shoulders."

Eren rises abruptly, prompting Mikasa to inquire, "Eren, where are you going?"

"Just to the bathroom," Eren responds tersely, revealing little. Ray, noticing a shift in Eren's demeanor, swiftly rushes after him, sensing something amiss. She closes the door gently behind her.

"Papa," Ray begins softly, trying to ease the tension she noticed. "Everything okay? You seemed a bit off back there."

Eren forces a faint smile, attempting to reassure her. "I'm fine, Ray. Just needed a moment."

Ray isn't convinced, she knows how Eren's tendency to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders. "You know, Mom's worried about you. We all are," she says gently, hoping to encourage him to open up. "You are not alone. Back then you didn't have the time because of the curse, but now you have, and

Eren's expression softens at Ray's concern. He takes a deep breath, realizing the need to return and face the situation. "Thanks, Ray. I'll be back in a minute."

With that, Eren splashes some water on his face, collecting his thoughts, and then heads back to rejoin the group, Ray following closely behind. As Eren re-enters the room, Mikasa glances at him, concern etched in her features. "Are you okay?" she asks softly.

"Yeah," Eren responds with a determined nod, taking his seat again. It is also then the interlude finishes.

Kako wo daita yume no naka de (Within a dream embracing the past)

Deai to wakare wo kurikaeshi mawatta (Encounters and partings repeated in circles)

Nisen nen go no kimi no haru wa (In the spring of two thousand years from now)

Donna hana ga saku (What kind of flowers will bloom for you?)

"Encounters and partings repeated in circles... it's like a never-ending cycle, isn't it?" Erwin muses.

Mikasa, lost in her thoughts, "In the spring of two thousand years from now... I wonder what the future holds," she says softly, the weight of the uncertain future evident in her tone.

Sasha says, "Maybe it means even in two thousand years, there will still be hope blooming. Like a timeless cycle of new beginnings."

Ore tachi wa nakama janee (We aren't friends)

Umareta toki kara hitori da (I've been alone since I was born)

Kyogen wo haite kyokou wo matou (Wearing a mask, donning madness)

Shingeki wo, shingeki to nasu made (Until the attack, until it becomes an attack)

Omaera wa mori wo dero (You guys leave the forest)

Nando dou ni mayottemo (No matter how many times we get lost)

Mukuwareru made ore tachi wa (Until we're repaid)

Susumi tsuzukeru (We will keep moving forward)

Dakara kono tsumi wa (That's why this sin)

Yurusazu ni yuke (Must not be forgiven)

Hange, pondering the weight of the lyrics, breaks the silence, her voice carrying a mix of concern and understanding. "We aren't friends... it's like wrestling with a sense of isolation from the very beginning," she muses, contemplating the underlying loneliness embedded in the words.

Historia's expression shifts, contemplating the depth of Eren's sentiments. "It's as if Eren has been carrying this burden, hiding his true feelings," she murmurs softly, her eyes reflecting a sense of empathy.

Bertolt, reflecting on his own past experiences, remains thoughtful. "Until the attack, until it becomes an attack... It's as though there's a relentless pursuit, an unyielding drive forward," he says, his voice tinged with a hint of sadness.

Armin's gaze drifts to the window, his mind racing to comprehend the implications of the lyrics. "No matter how many times we get lost... It's about striving relentlessly until debts are repaid," he mutters, trying to decipher Eren's perspective.

Mikasa, usually stoic, appears pensive, contemplating the weight of Eren's words. "We will keep moving forward... It's a relentless determination despite the challenges," she acknowledges, recognizing the unwavering resolve within the lyrics.

Eren, absorbed in his own thoughts, remains silent, his eyes fixed on the floor, contemplating the gravity of his own words and the weight they bear.

Soshite kare wa... kono sekai kara kyojin wo kuchiku shita (And then he... eradicated Titans from this world.)

Sasha chimes in, "That's Armin's voice..."

Connie, intrigued, queries, "So, Armin in your world collaborated with Linked Horizon?"

Ray nods knowingly. "It's not just him... Mom and Dad did too."

Annie, curious, seeks clarification, "What does that imply? 'He eradicated Titans from this world'?"

Ray's response is cryptic yet playful. "Ah, that's a spoiler! You'll just have to wait and find out."

There you have it, the reaction of the final opening. I don't have a schedule for when I'll be updating the chpaters, but I can only hope you like this.
