Welcome to Aureate, an anthology of poems and flash fiction dedicated to capturing the astonishing beauty of the world around us.

Pictures alone cannot do justice to the alluring effervescence of the world, whether it be nature, food, or especially fantasy. 

The intricate beauty of the finer details is too convoluted to ever properly be captured by video or photographs.

It is incredibly difficult to capture and distil a single moment in time. Memory is a fickle thing - fleeting, unreliable, and nearly impossible to relive. 

That's what makes poetry so special. Capturing the emotion, elaborating on tiny details, embroidering and shaping the story and writing it all in lyrical language.
