I hear muffled screams all around me, but it sounds like my head is under water. All I can feel is the body warmth and heart beat of the person that carries me. My body feels heavy as I slowly open my eyes, the light burning my eyes causing a my head ache. I let out a small groan as I lift my head causing who is carrying me to slow down their pace. Once my vision comes to focus I see Mark's red hair right up close and I'm on his back, then I see Jack running to keep up with Mark as he carry's Layla. I struggle against Mark's hold as I try to get down to be with Layla. Mark gently places me down on the ground before quickly pushing me behind a table just missed getting hit by ball of energy projected in our direction. Mark is quick to block the debris from the blast by shielding me with his body. I feel bad since he's getting hurt just to protect me.

We take cover at Mark's signing panel, hiding behind a curtain. Layla lays next to me; a crystal heart resting in her hands, it slowly pulses green with black veins now and then. I can tell she's having a battle of her own inside her head.

I wake and just stare at the ceiling before letting out a sigh as I roll over to go back to sleep, hoping the dream doesn't came true. Layla can't be hurt, she means too much to me. She's my little biscuit. When it comes to morning I hear mummers coming from the living room. Jack's voice is the most recognisable with how loud he is. I slowly leave my room, not caring to change. I see Mark, Jack and Layla sitting in the living room discussing something with an array of weapons on the coffee table.
