Pandora's Box is a Hunger Games you have never seen before.  We've changed the rules and regulations from the other competitions out there, so if you're a recurring competitor, read through these rules before you jump the gun :D

1) No bullying any other tributes. Treat everyone else with respect, including the tributes and Gamemakers

2) For those of who you've never done one, we start off with 24 tributes, all of which will create a character which you will use to compete tasks to write your own story throughout the course of this Game. 

3) Each task will give you a prompt that you must follow while writing and at the end of each task FOUR tributes will be eliminated. Every tribute will be scored two different ways: your scores from each specific task, and your overall score from all the tasks combined. 

4) Each task will allow you a certain number of in-entry deaths, however, unlike other competitions, the in entry deaths will not count against your score.  How many other people want to kill of your character has nothing to do with how well you write, and therefore we will not judge you for it. However, there could be potential hindrances because of it. 

5)You will also receive a certain number of ballots each round as well, which you use to try to hurt and vote off another tribute.

6) Another major difference that may scare most of you is that ballots will be public knowledge. There is no secrets in Pandora's Box. If you're going after a tribute, everyone will know.

7) All alliances tributes make with not only characters, but writers as well, must be turned in to the Gamemakers before the first task begins. You don't have to have alliances, but it will be hard to get through Pandora's Box alone. Along with alliances, you will also turn in any rivals you have created, whether with other writers, or their characters.

8) In case anyone for some reason doesn't know, each task will have a deadline and every entry must be turned in on time or you will be eliminated unless you come to us with a good reason for missing the deadline. 

9) We've all worked hard on this, and so will the writers involved. This is meant to be fun, so please put in your best efforts and try your hardest.

10) Please, please, please, make your entries original. Yes, this is a Hunger Games competition, but we don't want to see paragraphs copied from the Hunger Games book that you change to fit your characters and say it's your own. This is a contest for writers, so even with the prompts MAKE IT YOUR OWN. I cannot say that to you all enough. Make it original!

Also, and this isn't a rule, you don't have to make every one of your entries fit together like a story, but it makes everything much more enjoyable if you do. We won't count against your score if you do or don't, but this is just a friendly suggestion :) 

Lastly, please follow all these rules because if you don't, the Gamemakers will have absolutely no mercy on any of you. Good luck :)
