So I know this is way late (Sorry about that: I've been so busy I completely forgot), but here's the bonus entries for task five.

District 1 Male: Altrin Keene

The funeral for Lux is today. It seems to terrible to put a child into the cold earth. It's my fault it's happening, too.

Mom laid out an outfit for me. It's all variations of darkness. That's how it's going to be today. Everyone will be wearing blacks and grays. Lux's casket is dark. Our moods will be dark...all because I'm a terrible person. I'm a monster.

"Are you ready to go?" Mom calls up the stairs.

With a sigh, I wrap my gray tie around my neck and slide it up. Here goes the darkest day of my life.

District 1 Female: Anika Brand

Grey.

Such an interesting color.

Grey, is balance. A balance between black and white, darkness and light, evil and good.

Father told me that I had to be a grey. I had to be balanced. I have to be gentle, show compassion when need be – but at the same time I had to be fierce, unafraid to shed blood, to take a life.

"Don't feel" - a warrior's saying.

Yet, to be grey, I have to feel. I have to be both. I have to be warm and cold, but also caring and stony.

Conflicted.

Should I feel or not?

District 4 Female: Coralie Dunbrylle

I sit in a cave off the shoreline and watch the dull morning progress. Have you noticed that the weather almost seems to reflect your mood?

The sky is dark and ominous, casting ugly grey colors into the ocean. This is supposed to be a beautiful place, not a depressing one. Then again, children are supposed to be happy souls, not depressing ones. Look at me. I defy every rule about happy children.

One of these days I'll do it. I will. I'll kill myself. You can only have so many dark, muddled thoughts before you realize that you're worthless.

District 6 Male: Egan Blake

He leaned against the wall, a cigarette hanging from his lips. He didn't like smoking. He hated it; which was exactly why he did it. A drunken man approaches. How much for one night? Always the same question. Always the same answer. As much as you got. Some say he was only trying to survive. Wrong. He didn't need to do this. He didn't like doing this. He hated it; which was exactly why he did it. Some say what he's doing is bad. Wrong. In this world, there is no white or black, only a million shades of grey.

District 8 Female: Phoebe Beckham

Phoebe observed the rack of sunglasses.

"I need some, my others are breaking."

Her aunt nodded.

"You take one and go to the dressing room. I'll stay here until you're done." She suggested.

"Okay!" Phoebe chose one.

"Why would you choose gray?" Her aunt asked.

"They're silver. Can't you tell the difference?" Phoebe flipped her hair dramatically.

When Phoebe was done, she found her aunt pushing a cart of sunglasses.

"Uh... Martha?"

"I got you forty-nine sunglasses!" She said matter-of-factly.

"Why?"

"Well, I guess I got," she pulled out her sunglasses and put them on, "Fifty shades of gray. Yeeeeeeaaaaaah!"

District 11 Female: Dayshia Kelly

Grey room, grey walls, grey chairs, grey tables.

Grey everywhere.

Except for her, the Voice clad in black.

Except for her, Anika with her golden waves.

My mind tells me this must be a dream, a hallucination, not real. But grey tells me otherwise.

Grey is the point between death and life, between black and white. Grey is the point where nothing matters anymore, because you've already lost it all. It doesn't matter what shade of grey you're in, what color your walls are.

Because the Reaper is coming. The Reaper and the Reaper's minion.

Grey doesn't matter.

Death does.

District 12 Male: Kale Emrys

His world of brilliantly blue sky, green grasses, and colourful
flowers was slowly being turned into grey. The flowers were the first
to go as he faced the bloodbath, faced his first kill. The red and the
purples faded into dark shades of grey, as did the light green of the
stalks turn to a lighter grey

As he continued in the Games, the sky turned to a light grey, the
grass into a darker hue of grey. Everything else changed as well.

A world of innocence and colour, replaced with a world of different
shades of grey and darkness.

That's all of them! You all did a fantastic job, and have two extra votes to use for finals voting :) Altrin, Coralie, Anika, Egan, Phoebe, and Dayshia all have four. You can only use two votes for one person, so if you choose to use all four, you have to vote for the other.

Hunter, Chance, Kale, Noura, you all have two votes to use.

You two finalists have four days to complete and turn in task six.

The rest of you fallen tributes have the same. I haven't received any entries yet, so just a reminder to everyone if you chose to participate. I hope you guys too. I'm looking forward to it :)
