MAKING NEW CHARACTERS

When you reserve your spot in the Games, you will make a mentor spontaneously in the comments. No thoughts to it, pure improvising. This character will mentor your others and guide them through the Games.

In the story, each of your characters is a prisoner, captured because they are powerful. They can be from any realm (another words any fandom), but ONCE YOU USE A FANDOM YOU CANNOT REUSE IT. So choose wisely. You can create what I call character hybrids—for instance a Shadowhunter who is also a Jedi, but remember you can't use the same fandom twice, so be careful.

Your characters and their forms will each be placed on your PAGE, which will be in the beginning of the book (in the place of a normal Author's Games character list for each district).

All of your character forms will be listed on your page, which means that whatever fandom you used for that character will be listed as well. DO NOT REUSE THEM. If you do, your character will NOT be accepted or allowed into the Games.

Also, you must keep the genders close as possible. You can't have all males and all females. If you have the majority in one, try to make sure you at least have a few of the other. Don't just stick with the fandoms you know.

THIS COMPETITION IS MEANT TO BE CHALLENGING. It's to see how you as a writer, does when you don't know the fandom very well. See it as a fun challenge, a personal one with yourself.

Remember, that I am here and I'm in all these fandoms, so I'm happy to help or answer any questions. Give it a try and don't be afraid. CHALLENGE YOURSELF. I guarantee once you do, you will have achieved this and you'll be proud of yourself.

So next chapter I'll list out all the fandoms and the types of characters in each one (that way, you guys can choose one to make it easier on you).
