An Italian wedding. Aka what my entire family is expecting me to have.
I decided to explain a lot of the traditions and stuff so that maybe you guys could help me decide which is better.
A traditional wedding or an Italian wedding.
So let's get started.

#1: Confetti
Now, this isn't what you think it is. I was shocked when I found out that "confetti" was the English translation. But basically, it's these almonds that are covered in confectionary sugar. People at the ends of the pews throw them after the couple kisses, when they're walking back down the isle together. Sometimes, the kids play a game to see how many almonds they can pick up. They get to eat them if they do.
But along with that, they're also just served during the reception.

#2: The dress
Italians, of course, wear white dresses, but the women usually wear dresses that look like ball gowns. They're big and flashy, with ribbons or flowers covering them. Sometimes, there's even lace on the dresses.

#3: Cake
Italian wedding cake is really unique. The cake itself is very light, and is almost always vanilla. It's baked with champagne, and people don't put frosting on it. Instead, they use whipped cream in between the layers and use confectionary sugar on the outside. To make the sweetness less prominent, the cake is covered in berries, and sometimes, mint leaves.

I could make another post with more traditions, but these are the three basic ones. But what do you guys think so far?
