Yes.
Inspiration.
A lot of you know that I typically get inspiration from music, but I also get inspired from other things, too. My second most inspiring thing is other people's art.
I love to look at art. It's another joy of being an artist. We. Love. Art.
So what's the whole point of this post?
Well, I'll tell you.
I'd like to show you some of my own personal favorite artists. One of them was the main reason why I want to take my art to a professional level to this day. So let's start there, from the beginning.

#5: DrawingWiffWaffles (YouTube/Instagram)

Reason for inspiration: Made me want to become a fully-fledged professional artist.

#4: Glamist (Deviantart)

Reason for inspiration: Form and anatomy is nearly perfect and is the level I want to achieve within that skill. I'm also addicted to the way she draws hands ;)

#3: LavenderTowne (YouTube)

Reason for inspiration: She's my favorite cartoonist, but she's also really good at realism and other art styles. She's very good at backgrounds as well.

#2: Tamaytka (Tumblr/Deviantart)

Reason for inspiration: My favorite artist to specialize in fanart. Also one of the only professional artists I know to use Sketchbook Pro(the same program I use).

#1: Danica Sills (YouTube)

Reason for inspiration: Danica is my all-time favorite artist. I love her use of colors, her anatomy, the way she does backgrounds, and how she uses negative space to her advantage in all of her pieces. And overall, her art is just the most interesting on this list.

I was thinking about turning this into a tag, too. Basically, the rules are to list your top five favorite artists, give an example of each artist's work, and explain why they inspire you.
