Q: Which one of your stories would you say is your favorite?

A: Stealing Hearts was definitely a favorite of mine because it's enemies to lovers. I adore banter, drama, reluctant hearts, and, above all, romance so Stealing Hearts has a special place. Besides, if it wasn't for Stealing Hearts, Tattooed Hearts would have never existed.

Q: What inspires you to write the most?

A: The characters. They talk to me and that's what inspires me. Their voices, their stories

Q: Why did you start posting on Wattpad?

A: It's almost been ten years since I've been on Wattpad. I can't even really remember, but part of it was just to share the stories with other people.

Q: Do you have a favorite author on Wattpad? If so, who?

A: I have a few, but my tops are DLynnPSamiCoops, and veelozada.

Q: Is there something you hope your readers take away from your stories?

A: I hope my readers will keep in mind that sometimes when you aren't ready for love, love is ready for you and it's going to get you whether you want it or not.

From the Author

Tattooed Hearts started as a love letter to myself because as who struggled to love myself because of societal norms; I found solace in creating a space I could belong to. When I was growing up, there were never any stories about a disabled character who looked like me or had the same disability I had. I was also limited to what I could and couldn't do, like playing sports, getting a piercing or a tattoo because I had a bleeding disorder on top of my physical disabilities. Every struggle, every disorder piled up onto one another just made me feel alone—more alone than anyone could possibly imagine. There was limited access to things like the internet. And social media pretty much just starting out. In my own little world, there was no one like me.

And I felt like this for a long time.

Not only was I alone, but I was picked on for being different. I couldn't love myself because how could I when there was nothing around to show me I could be loved? So its for people like me; those who are looking for some validation that they can be loved. That their disability doesn't define their worth. For others, regardless of their disabilities, race, gender, ect. Who weren't shown they could be loved and need to know no matter who they are, they can be loved. Because you can be loved.

Tattooed Hearts is actually going to be self-published this year! Meaning those who love the story can get a copy in their hands and there will be some never before scenes added.

I am also working on three stories behind the scenes which will be coming to the platform soon! The first two are from my main series: Rainer Brothers: One is a fake-dating, brother's best friend with a twist. The second is a marriage of convenience, enemies to lovers. And the third is book 3 of the Inked Hearts series which follows Cassius brother, Declan.

About the Story

Cassius has no time for love - until his sister surprises him with a new roommate: Melody. She's sweet and kind and they have a past together, but is a relationship in their future? Find out in Tattooed Hearts on our Featured reading list!

Q: Cassius or Melody: which one would you say is your favorite?

A: I love them both, but I'll pick Cassius. He's just so sweet.

Q: Are any of the characters based off of people?

A: The characters are a mix between the people I know/hang out with and different sides of myself.

Q: What inspired a series based around tattoo artists?

A: I wanted the series to mirror the fact that there's more to someone than how they look. The scars, race, color, disabilities, etc. those are all just what's on the surface. And I thought tattoo artists are a great example. Also, I have a thing for tattoos, even though I can't get any.
