I woke up from my rest and saw only one other person awake, "Xuria." I said.

"Morning." She replied. She had a few pictures in her hands glancing at them.

"What are you..." I began.

"Wanna take this outside let them sleep?" She said motioning to the four.

"Okay." She must want to tell me something. I got up and the two of us made it out the building. We arrived outside and she handed me an image. I looked at it and I instantly knew who it was, "Sera..." She was young, smiling, and probably full of hope.

"Took that picture years ago. You seem to have a deep bond, so keep it. I don't need it anymore." She said.

"Thank you... But why?" I asked.

"I have others." She said pulling out more pictures of children, "I can get rid of one."

"This is your favorite though." I said seeing through her emotions.

"It is... But she means more to you than to me. Heh, didn't think that was possible." She chuckled.

"Keep it." I said handing the picture back.

"Why?" She asked.

"I'm not worthy to remember such a happy face." I replied.

"Okay... I'll hold on to it. Let me know when you are ready." She said taking the image.

"They awake yet?" I asked.

"Not yet, I'd give it... Five minutes." She replied.

"Alright I'll get ready then." I replied. Walking away.

"Okay." She said standing there alone.

As I made it to the edge of the small town we stayed in I summoned a lone beowolf, "Go to him and what he says are exactly what I want. Get it ready for my arrival." I said as it vanished and from my legs numerous shadows ran to the woods.

Pestilence stood in the woods. Traversing through the trees he felt an ominous energy as he got closer to his destination. He stopped as he saw an unknown and hidden village in the trees. The reason why he is here is to ensure that F/N and his group don't show up to an empty and abandoned temple.

"Your orders?" A thrall asked.

"Surround every exit, ensure nobody escapes, and hoard them into their temple. Burn everything else to the ground and kill anyone you can." He replied.

"Is that all?"

"Yes. Their little church can be dealt with the real F/N." He said. The thrall began to chuckle and vanished in a pool of black tar. The pool began to slither away and towards the hidden village. Then many more followed after it. Though it didn't end there. He turns around and sees a horde of Grimm, "Kill."

The Beowolves howl as the Ursa charge forward leading the rest into the village. People began to run out of their homes to see what was the noise. The sound of gun fire can be heard followed by screams. A winged creature landed next to him, "Strife, Dinner is ready." The creature roars and flies out towards the battle. Pestilence begins to walk down as well, he wants to personally ensure nobody leaves the area.

He made it to the entrance and saw an injured man look up at him. He reached out to him hoping to get help. Pestilence just walked past him as a beowolf walked up to him and began to claw at his back.

"Someone! Help me!" A woman yelled. Pestilence grabbed his mace and hit her in the back of her head. She fell to the ground where a a horde of baby deathstalkers began to crawl all over her.

"Great Shade. We have located children. Your orders?" Pestilence looked at a building where he traced the call. He walked over to it and leaned slightly back as a man was thrown at him. One of his own pets ran past him and began to maul him to death. Pestilence enters the home and sees a crib with an infant. A hound standing next to it.

"Leave it. Let's have F/N deal with it, I'm sure Xuria will be ecstatic with them." The creature bows and exits the building. He glanced at the child and saw it look at him. He covered the child with it's blanket and walked out. He looks to see a man with his arm missing as he gripped it and screamed. An Ursa appeared and bites down on his head. A woman ran out of her home and pestilence noticed something.

"Please get me out!" She yelled at him.

"Was anyone left in your home?" He asked.

"No! Now get me..." He grabbed her neck and began to crush her wind pipe.

"Lies." He said and she began to claw his arm with her nails, "Wanna breathe so much? Then take a deep breath." He said as a black mist began to emanate from his arm. He released his grip and she took a large gasp of air. She began to cough and her veins began to darken. He dropped her to the ground as she now began to claw at her neck. Scratching till she peeled her skin.

He left her there as her flesh began to rot and entered the home. He looked down and saw a little girl pinned my a bookcase. She had a brand of an eye on her shoulder.

"H-help... Me..." She begged. Pestilence looked at her. He made her take a whiff of a black mist but unlike the woman she just passed out. He then walked away leaving her alone. She'll be fine at least until the others get here. Though that brand... What's it mean? He looks around and sees a man getting pulled by two ursas.

He looks at the temple and walks over to it. A woman gets tossed out if a window and a spider like Grimm the size of her entire torso was clinging to her. A group of what seems to be the guards of this village were holding a line against the two dark forces. Pestilence in sheathed his mace and walked up to their blind side. He grabbed one of their weapons which was a rifle and moved it to another guard with a ranged weapon. The rifle shot him enough times to kill him before he hit the ground.

"What are you..." He began but was met with a leg sweep and a mace to the chest caving in his ribs. One of them tries to slash at pestilence with a sword but is tackled by a beowolf. Pestilence avoided another guard and kneed his gut causing him to fall to one knee. Pestilence raised his mace and crushed the back of his skull. He asked the mace and over his back. He felt a blade hit his mace and recoil back. Pestilence swept his mace up and hit the guard's arm. He grabbed the sword he dropped and brought it up to the guard's neck. He slices his throat and as he fell to the ground he glanced at the sword.

"I'm borrowing this." He said walking away. He walked up to a woman who stood over the disappearing corpses of Grimm. She turned around to be met with pestilence's fist. As she reeled from the pain he grabbed her head under his arm and snapped her neck. Pestilence glanced to his right and saw another guard taking out Grimm and thralls with ease. Pestilence whistles and Strife flies down grabbing the guard and lifting him into the air.

A guard runs out of a building but is grabbed by some blackened tree roots. He is pulled back in where his screams could be heard barely muffling the sound of his body getting torn to shreds. A group of people began to close the temple doors. They seem to be holding up there for a last stand. Pestilence stood at the foot of the steps and glanced at the doors. They were marked with an unknown language and the same eye symbols.

Pestilence stood there studying the door. He raised one hand over his head. As he rose his hand the trees came to life and their roots drew closer and closer to the temple. He clenched his fist and the roots crashed into the walls creating numerous openings.

"Sick 'em." He commanded. Beowolves and dark hounds charged at the lower floors while Nevermores and Strife flew into the roof. The sound of screaming can be heard from inside and a few tried to leave the temple. Though deathstalkers and spiders were in wait claiming any that were foolish enough to run out. One of the hounds came out and walked up to Pestilence.

"Good boy." He said as he pat it's head. The hound sat beside him and Pestilence knew this hound was the first F/N has ever summoned, "You are gonna need a name for your loyalty. How does Fenrir sound?" The hound completely relaxed and began to rest, "Silence is consent."

Once the screaming had died down he began to walk through the temple. He can tell there was more to this than just a simple church, but he'll let Xuria do that. He was currently checking bodies and ensuring all are dead. So he began to scan the numerous corpses for any signs of life.

He found a few so he stabbed them with the sword he was borrowing and ensured they died. Some realized he noticed and began to beg for their lives.

"No please! Spare me!" A woman yelled. Without any mercy he sliced her abdomen open and Fenrir bit into her intestines pulling them out and devouring her. He walked up to a man who tried to attack Pestilence but a beowolf leaped onto him and tore his arm off. He screamed in pain as the beowolf got off to devour the chunk of flesh.

"Our God will make you.... Pay for this... He will avenge us!" He yelled.

"You sure about that? Cause I highly doubt he even gives a shit about you." He replied.

"This is only a few of us. The rest will hunt everyone you love... And make them feel a fate worse than death."

"Threats from a dead man are nothing but empty promises." He said.

"That's exactly what the bitch Sera woul..." A sword pierced his neck.

"Insulting Sera? Now you're asking to die." He said letting the blade go as he fell back with a sword stuck in his throat.

Pestilence began to walk out as that was the last survivor. He looked at the temple and thought for a moment, "So Sera did have a problem with them... She truly was a great person." He said walking away along with the two dark armies.

I was traveling the woods with the girls. According to Xuria we will arrive by sunset. I was mostly silent and kept to myself.

"F/N... Are you okay?" Ruby asked.

"I'm fine. Just can't wait to see my parents."

"Are you going to..." Elizabeth began.

"...Kill them?" Yang finished. I didn't respond.

"Xuria." I called out.

"Hmmm?" She responded looking at me.

"How much farther?" I asked getting closer to her.

"About three hours." She replied. As I was next to her I lowered my voice.

"Village is clear of any people. Temple is left standing." I said.

"The children?" She asked.

"All have been spared and the buildings untouched. Just to be safe no fire was left burning before they left." I replied.

"Good... Good." She said. Silence overtook us for a moment before she spoke again, "Something bothering you?"

"A few had a brand on them, an eye of sorts." I said.

"Sacrifices. They were sacrifices to my father. You know make them suffer for his enjoyment." She said.

"I see... Well let's get moving some of them need immediate help." I said.

"I love a man who shares the same interests." She smiled.

"I'll repay you don't worry. After I meet Sera's parents." I said.

"You will, after all the main temple is hidden underground. Below the entire village." She said.

"Of course. Typical dark cult." I sighed.

"Yep. Pretty cliche. Though good thing you have me or you wouldn't get in." She replied.

"Good. Can't wait to end this."
