Neil opened his eyes to find a very calm Avni sleeping beside him. She looked innocent like a baby when she slept with no worries. Neil recollected a major promise that he took  himself the previous day...

Neil smiled probably because of what was running in his mind. He got up and gently stroked Avni on her shoulder..

Neil: Avni..utho..get up..

Avni stretched out her arms and accidentally she coiled one of her hands around Neil's neck. Neil looked onto her face which was coming out of sleep. Avni opened her eyes and realised where her hands are. But something stopped her from taking off them. She stared at the most handsome face she had ever seen. His deep eyes always said something to her. They were lost in each others eyes while Avni spoke up without realising what..

Avni(still lost): tumhari aankhen ek din mujhe maar hi dalenge...

Neil(with a naughty look): hmm? Wht did u say??

Avni( was shocked.. omg! Ye kya ho gaya!!): Haan? What did i say?

Neil: thts wht iam asking.. meri ankhen ...?? Wht wht??

Avni: aankhen? Yea.. aise ghoorthe rahoge tho late ho jayenge hum.. yahi...yahee bol rahi thi main.. hai na?

Neil: huh?? No.. kuch aur bola tumne..

Avni: kuch bhi nahi...yehi bola.. now move let me get up.. and yes.. gudmorning!!

Neil(laughed): yea yea! Indeed a gudmorning..

Avni ran to washroom picking up her clothes and shouted " whts der to laugh ths mch?? Now..get up!"

Neil: haaan...

Neil thought "I clearly heard what she told. Am I affecting her this much? Do I make a difference to her? Tumne jo kaha woh main tumse phir se bulvaoonga...jald hi.."

Both of them got ready and went to have breakfast. Evryone except Swetha behaved normally with her.

Bebe: Avni.. I knw I shud not have told that much to you. I thought Neil was also not happy with you. That made me lose my control. Mujhe thoda waqt do.. sab teek ho jayega

Avni(smiled): ji bebe.. I can understand. Maine aap sabse jhoot bola.. Iam really sorry and I totally get your point. Aap breakfast keejiye.

Neil smiled at the pace things were falling into right places. His mother was stubborn. He knew she will take time.

Neil: waise.. Iam on leave today since I have to take Avni somewhere.

Avni: where??

Neil: I will tell you. Finish off ur fud and come.

Both of them started off in car. Avni kept on asking where he was taking her..

Neil: you told u trust me. Then keep quiet. Lets talk something else..

Avni: fine ..yea..

Neil: by d way what are ur hobbies? I mean..what were ur hobbies in ur awesome Ali wala childhood?

Avni: mera? I used to have masti with Ali. We used to dance with Nanno😂.. tht was very funny.. then yea Ayesha ma used to sing lori nicely. I used to join her too...

Neil(applied breaks to stop the car):
Come out now..

Avni obeyed. She saw a very peaceful place with trees and flowers all around. There stood a small building in the centre. There was a board hanging on the building, but she couldn't read that from this distance.
Avni looked questioningly at Neil.
Neil started walking with her to the building.

Neil: your bst frnd Ali ne hi bathaya mujhe that you loved to sing. And ye tho ayesha ma ki bhi talent thi jo tumhen bhi mili.. and I have heard you sing on ur bday.. and mujhe lagtha hai ..u shud go for it...

Avni(surprised): Neil..! This is a very old thing.. i have not thought about it aftrwards..

Neil: yea..so think about it now..

Avni: But Neil.. what will I do of it now?? Ab ye sab nahi hoga...

Neil: who told that? You knw why yu r sayng this? Because you stoppd dreaming. You have to get out of nightmares and start dreaming. And believe in the beauty of ur dreams just like u believe in me.. That Avni has to return who saw dreams.. who danced with Ali and Nanno.. who sang ayesha ma's lori... Koi sun ne wala chahye tho main hun na??

Avni(smiled): phir bhi.. kya zaroorat hai?

Neil: zaroorat hai.. because I wnt you to have an identity of urself. I dont want you to stay as just ACP Neil Khanna's wife.. Even I want to be known as Avni Ayesha's husband...
Apne liye nahi tho mere liye please...

Avni read the board clearly now. "TALEEM STUDIO"..
Neil enrolled her in a 3 months course of proffessional singing. 2 days a week aftrnoon class. Then they returned home. Avni felt unusually happy. She looked at Neil driving...

Avni to herself: I must hav done somthing really good that you came in my destiny. How to tell you that somewhere I want to stay in this relation forever.."

Avni: Thank you...

Neil: you better don't. I dont accept these from my friends.. especially those who praise me a lot..

Avni: hain? When did i do that?

Neil: aaj subah subah..

Avni: c'mon shut up now!!

Neil chuckled..They reached home by lunch time.

The day passed and it became dark. Avni was thinking of how beautiful the day was. She introspected her feelings for Neil and soon brushed it off. As she was feeling the cold breeze brushing up her hairs, fine droplets danced on her face. She opened her eyes to see it was raining. Aftr so many years, she felt so calm and pleasant to watch rain.

Neil was amazed at what he saw..Avni was out in the garden with both of her hands spread out feeling evry bit of those drizzles showering upon her... Neil thought " yehi tho woh Avni hai.. jise aaj vapas ana hi hai..'
