Few days passed. Avnii was better. Neel had tried to search for Ruhi but all his efforts went down the gutter. He lost hope. He also informed the police......but. Nothing worked!

Neel tried everything to stop this clingy Kaamini from clinging on him.

To his surprise, she finally stopped. He heaved a sigh of relief unknown to the fact that she was upto doing something big.

After a month, to everyone's surprise...........

The Khurrana family comes to see Avnii. Neel is also present. Neel had sensed that his family will rise the 'shadi' topic.

Neel's POV

Mom....dad seemed to be determined to make Avnii their 'bahu'. I am feeling so left out. Poora din they do Avni Avni.... Avni does aunti uncle mamma papa.

Poor me!

Romance karne ke liye I'm staying here...par saala koi karne hi nhi deta.

Thoda paas aao nd knock knock.

Inko allergy hai kya mere romance karne se.

Aaj wapas ghr Jana padega with shadi ke liye rejection apne chehre par latka ke.

Dad...Mom. ..apne laadle pr thoda rehem karo. Mujhe rejection leke nhi jaana 😭😭😭

Avnii bolegi tab karwa dena.

I know mei bhi besabr hoon...But dil mei itni dhak dhak horeli hai. 💓

Avni came down with a smiling face.

Neel (thinks): Avnii. ... I don't know what is planned for me today. I don't know what you will say. .... But I promise, I won't let ur beautiful smile fade away.

Avnii looks at Neel and thinks: Neelu. ..tumhe tension mei dekh mujhe itna maza aa raha hai ki kya batau..... Aaj mei tumhe sabse bada jhatka dungi 😉

Avnii turns her face towards the family.

Mrs. Khurrana : Beta tumhe Neel kaisa laga. ..?

Avnii: Woh aapko pehle se pata hai. .. (shy...blush)

Mr. Khurrana : yeh kaisa sawaal hai? Kuch achcha bolo na. Ek kaam karte hai....directly pooch te hai...

'Kya Tum Shaadi Karne Ke Liye Tayar ho?'
Dekho decision tumhara hai. Neel ko hum iss maamle mei bhau bhi nhi denge.

Neel : Dad! (Sad pout)

Mr. Khurrana : kya dad.... (imitates neel's sad pout face) ? Bidai Teri hogi ki iski. ..? Agar tujhe bidaai hona hai to I'm ready...waise bhi ghar pe baith kuch ukhaadne wala nhi. Ghar jamaai banke rehga to kuch kaam karega.

Avnii chuckles.....

Mr. Khurrana : Batau beta...?

Avnii turns to Her parents. They give a nodd.

Avnii: Uncle.....Aunty. ..

Neel closes his eyes.

Avnii looks at him and smiles from inside. She was enjoying Neel's condition. ..

Avnii: wohhh....

Neel is literally praying ki woh haa bole but his mind was saying woh naa bolegi.

Avnii : I....

Neel (thinks): Aur kitna wait karaogi? Itna suspense mei kon bolta hai.

Avnii: I AM READY FOR THE MARRIAGE.

BOOM💥

The expression changed from shock to happiness. ...But someone seemed to be at shock.

Neel literally slipped on the place where he was standing. His legs couldn't take the shock....

Avnii: meri ek shart hai.

Kya?

Mujhe Shaadi Ke baad padhai poori karni hai.

Hume manzoor hai.

Bichara Neel still in dilemma.

Sounds of dhol were heard.

Happiness and laughter all over.

It was the time for celebration. ......

Nope.

Kya? Aise kya dekh rahe ho. Sirf shaadi mei celebration thodi hoti hai.

Ohh....dhol?

Haah. ....wo to log khushi ke mauhol mei bajate hi hai. Jaroori thodi baaraat mei baje!

Jyada dimaag par zor mat lagau.

Neel ko apne dad ke business sambhaal me ka approval Mila hai.

I know kuch Jyada jaldi mil gaya. But bande ki Shaadi hone jaa rahi hai...independent to hona padega. Kab tak dad ka Paisa udaayega. 😝😂

Neel closed Avnii's eyes and brings her To his cabin...

Avnii opened her eyes and looks around. She feels proud of her idiot Neelu.

Neel: Ye raha mera cabin. To hone waali Mrs. Khurrana. mera naya office kaisa laga?

Avnii: Aise bol rahe ho jaise kitne saare jobs change kr liye.

Neel: -_-

Avnii: Achcha hai. But I don't like it.

Neel: why? 😯

Avnii : Tum din bhar iss office mei rahoge aur yahan kaam karoge. Phil to mei akeli par jaaungi... 😟

Neel: aww...jealous. Koi nhi. Mai tumhare andar bhi kaam kar loonga. (Not realising what he just said.)

Avnii glared at him.

Avnii :Khurrana sahab..itna udo mat. Shaadi ke baad dekho main kitna pareshaan karti hun tumhe. Mere andar to kya mere aas paas bhi bhatakne nhi doongi. ..

Neel: what?😦 why? 😣

Avnii: dramebaaz

Neel walks towards her in Mini steps....holds her by the waist and pulls her closer.

Neel: lo ...aagaya paas....door jaane nhi doonga. ...try karlo.

Avnii : Neel kya kr rahe ho .... Koi dekh lega....chodo

Neel: chodne ke liye thodi pakda hai.

Avnii looks on the other side.

Avnii : Neel...Shweta aunty.

Neel: Aane do.

Avnii looks at him .

Neel: Tum khudko bewakoof bana sakti ho but mujhe nhi. Aur tum mujhe jitna door bhejogi...Mai utne kareeb aajaunga.

Avnii : matlab?

Neel: matlab main tumhe apna personal assistant appoint kar raha hoon...

Avnii: sachchi.

Out of excitement, Avnii kisses Neel on his cheeks. Neel was shocked.

Avnii realises what she just did.
Avnii: I'm sorry....

Neel (in a husky voice): Khushi ke maare aisa kuch kar na do ki main apne aapko control na kar pau.

Avnii: What???

Neel: nothing.
He leaves Avnii.

The evening before the marriage day.

Avnii was in her own lala land looking at his name in her mehendi when her phone rang.
Without looking at the name of the caller. She picked it up.

Neel: To Miss Sharma, are u missing me?

Avnii : no... y should I miss u?

Neel: haww. ..

Avnii: yes?

Neel : ok. Hone waali Mrs.Khurrana, are u missing me.

Avnii : hell yess. ...

Neel: I'm missing u too...I wanna meet u.

Avnii : no.

Neel: what?why?

Avnii : coz Shaadi se pehle no meeting.

Neel: haww....thik hai.

Avnii : thik hai? What thik hai? I'm dying to meet u idiot.

Neel: what? Really?

Avnii : yes donkey.

Neel: 😑 look outside ur window monkey.

Avnii looks down and sees Neel.

Avnii : are u expecting me to jump down.

Neel: yes, after all u r a monkey. 😂

Avnii : 😐😐😐

Avneel were sitting in a nearby park making sure no one catches them red handed.

Avnii : Neel. ..ek baat bolu.

Neel: haa ....tumhe bolne ke liye meri izaazat ki zaroorat nhi hai.

Avnii: Neel ..... ek ajeeb si ghabrahat ho rahi hai.

The sky was turning dark..

Avnii : pata nahi......aisa lag raha hai jaise kuch boora hone waala hon.

The dark clouds were over them.

Neel : Aisa kuch nhi hoga. Sab theek hoga.
Deep inside Neel felt the same. They get in the gazebo in between the park.

Thunderstorm.

In both the house.

Mrs. Khurrana/ Mrs. Sharma: achchanak ye mausam. Kahin kuch boora to nahi hoga na.....he bhagwaan.

Lightning. Thunderstorm. Heavy Rain.

Avnii: Neel....mujhe Dar lag raha hai. Neel.

Neel didn't say anything. Just hugged Avnii tightly.

After nearly half an hour the rain stopped. Avneel stopped for a while looking at each other.

Someone: arre dekho wahan se dhuan aa raha hai....bhailog....lagta hai wahan aag lagi hai. Chalo dekhte hai.

Avneel were shocked to hear and looked in that direction. Their fears were coming true.

They run towards the Sharma house ......

The sight in front of them was heartbreaking. Tears couldn't flow down due to shock. The sight was killing them on every breathe. The house were ablazed. The doors and Windows locked. The family members stuck in. The fire came till outside. They couldn't go in.
After a few seconds of shock a shriek. ..

Avnii : maaaaaaa.......papaaaaaa.....maaa. ....

Avnii ran to go inside but Neel held her back.

Neel: Avnii....nhi .....

Avnii: Neel mujhe andar jaane do....

Neel: nahiiii...Avnii mai tumhe andar jaane nhi de sakta.

Avnii: Neel mumma papa....mujhe unke pass Jana hai. ...

Neel: avnii sambhalo apne aapko.

After a while the fire brigade and ambulance along with the doctor came. The fire was put out. Bit sadly no one could be saved.

Avnii cried bitterly. She couldn't utter a word nor could neel. He just held her tightly and took him to his house ...............to get another shock of his life.

The same situation were haunting over there. They had no one now. The little bit of strength that neel had went down. Avneel had no one but only each other. They held each other tightly. Both lacked the strength and both were broken. Their brain stopped working. How did it happen? Why did it happen? nothing came in mind. 

The dark night passed. It was few moments before dawn. Both were exhausted by the events and were sleeping in each others arms  on the surface of mother earth hoping that it was just a dream. Avnii was the first to wake up........not with the happiness that it was their marriage day but with the sadness of losing everyone.

Avnii: Paani....neel...paani.

Neel woke up. He placed Avnii in a comfortable position and looked at her. The tear trails on her cheeks...the soot......all over her face..... the pain in her eyes. Avnii looked the same in Neel's face. 

Neel : Tum yahan ruko....main leke aata hoon.

Avni: Nahi Neel....main tumhaare saath chalungi. Main tumhein ....tumhei...nhi khona chahti.

Neel: Avnii main bas gaya aur aaya... Tum chalne ke haalat mei nahi hon.

Avnii: Nhii neel ....please mujhe chodke mat jau.

Neel: Ek kaam krte hai...

Avnii looked at him blankly. Neel took a sharp object from the ground at cut his finger.

Avnii: neel!

Neel fills Avnii's hair parting (maang) . Avnii closes her eyes while he does that and then looks at him in teary eyes.

Neel: Abb humei maut bhi alag nahi kar sakta.

Saying this he leaves Avni kissing her on her forehead and went inside his burned house to get some water if present. if not...drinking tap water was their only choice.

He comes back to the place where he left Avnii but she was no where to be found.

Neel (shouts): Avniii....Avniiii......Kahaan ho tum? Avniiiii......

He recalls what Avni said........mujhe chodke mat jau. He regrets. But he didn't want to lose Avnii. He was determined to find her. 

Suddenly a paper came flying. He caught it and it read..... ' Searching for your love? You won't get her. she is with me. If you want to save your Avnii....reach here before I kill her myself.'

Anger filled his eyes when he found that it was Kaamini who killed their family and now Avnii was in danger. He closes his eyes and walks where his heart takes him.

On the cliff.

Kaamini: Awwee...cutiepie ke shakal pe 12 baje hai. Dar lag raha hai?

Avnii (gives a mockingly): Darna to tumhe chahiye kamini. Mujhe poora bharosa hai Neel aayega.

Kaamini: Itna bharosa hai tumhein Neel pe. Uss Neel pe jisse yeh jagh ke baare mei pata bhi nahi.

Avnii: Haan hai. Yeh pyaar ki taakat hai jo tumhare samajh se bahar hai. Arre tum kya jaano pyaar kya hota hai. Tumhe to sirf ladko ko phasana aur dhamkana aata hai.

Kaamini (pointing gun towards her):  Bass.........bohot bol li tu. Abb to mujhe tujhe jaan se marne ko sabr nahi ho raha.

Neel: Aur ye sabr tumhara kabhi khatam hone nhi dunga. 

Avnii: Neel

Kaamini does an ishara and all her goon were fighting with Neel. Neel beats up all the guys. Two guys held Avnii tightly. Now there were only 3 main people. Avnii Neel and Kaamini.

Neel was standing near the end of the cliff at the gunpoint of Kaamini. Kaamini smirks and turns her gun towards Avnii... 

 Neel: Nahi tum use nahi maroge. Tumhara problem mujhse hai. Avnii ko chodd do.

Kaamini: Kaise chodd du? Iski wajhese tumne meri taraf mudke bhi nahi dekha. Main isse nhi chodungi.

Neel: Dekho pagal mat bano. Avnii ko chodd do.

Kaamini: Chodd dungi. Par iske liye tumhe marna hoga. Agar tum mere nahi ho sakte to main tumhe kisi aur ka hone nahi dungi.

Avnii: Nahi Neel ko mat maro. Tum meri jaan lelo par Neel ko chodd do.

Neel: Avnii...tum ye kaisi baatein kar rahi hon? Kaamini...tumhein maarna hai mujhe maar do.

Avnii: Nahi Neel.

Neel: Avnii....

Avni: Neel no....

Gunshot.

Avnii :  Neeeeeelllllll

Neel: Avniiiiiiiiii

Avni: Neel

Neel: Avni

SPLASH!

REWIND......

Neel at gunpoint. Avni kicks the weaker guy on her right and manages to free herself. 

Gunshott.

Avni: Neeelllll

Avni comes in front of Neel before the bullet hit Neel

Neel: Avniiii

The bullet hits Avnii and pierces her heart. At the same moment, Neel's heart had sudden dip in heart beat.

Avnii turned towards Neel with blood on her chest.

Avni: Neel

Neel: Avnii

Their wound pressed against each other. Their heart stopped. They closed their eyes hugging each other and fell down the cliff ...............into the water.

Avneel's story ended before the sunrise could take place. A single night......and the whole story just ended..............ONLY TO BE CONTINUED........

How was it? 

I was damn stressed about this chapter....I hope I did justice to the scene?

My heart was aching while writing this....It's difficult to write death scenes of ur favourite characters.........
