PART 3: The Final

Next Morning, Avni woke up late and found that Neil did not come to wake her up yet she felt his hands playing with her hair. She was both confused and angry.

On the other hand Neil was looking at Avni's photo which he had stolen from her bedroom. He was running his hands on the photograph.

Avni looked around but Neil was no where to be seen. It was 8:00am already. Avni was furious. She made up her mind to go and speak to Neil. She ran down stairs.

Neela- Arre Avni. Uth gayi bachcha. Aajao nashta karlo.

But Avni didn't listen to her and went outside.

Neela- Avni ruko to.....Avni!

Avni reached Khanna House and went directly upto Neil's room.......ignoring Shweta.

Avni- Neil...

Neil was shocked by her sudden scream....

Neil (whispered): Angel...

Avni: Tumhaari problem kya hai? Kyu nhi aaye mujhe uthaane? Kal raat ko bhi nahi aaye?

Silence. He turned his face away and looked down.

Avni went towards him furiously and turned his face towards her...

Avni: Nahi Neil. Tum aaj apna muh nhi chura sakte. Tumhe bolna hi hoga ki tumhaare dimaag mei kya chal raha.

Neil: Tum yahan kyu aayi ho? Wapas chali jaao.

Avni looked at him in disbelief.

Avni: Nahi jaaungi. Tumhaare jawab na diye bina main yahan se nahi jaaungi.

Neil: Samajh ne ki koshish karo Avni.

Avni: Kaise koshish karu? Tum samjhaoge tab na. Main koi antaryaami nhi hun jo tumhaare bole bina samajh jaaungi.

Neil looks away.

Avni: Neil please batau na...kyu kar rahe ho tum aisa? Kyu kal raat nhi aaye aur aaj subh bhi nhi?

Neil (taking a deep breath): Main abse tumhe uthaane nahi aaunga. Tumhe kyu uthna hoga.

Avni (shocked): Kyu? Tum to ek mahine baad jaaoge...to abb kyu?

Neil: Aadat banane ke liye. Tumhaare bina jeene ka aadat banane ke liye.

Avni (suppressing a sob): Aadat banani thi ya bojh ban gayi hun main tum par?

Neil: Ye tum kya bol rahi ho Angel?

Avni: Maine galat kya kaha? Isliye to tum itne din se mujhse dur bhaag rahe ho....

Neil cups her face and looks at her with teary eyes.

Neil: Angel. Tum meri Angel ho. Bhala mein tumse durr kaise bhaag sakta hun.

Avni: To abb kyun bhaag rahe ho?

Neil: Dar lagta hain Angel. Tumse dur jaane ka dar. Isliye aadat bana chahta hoon taki mere dur jaane se tumhe koi takleef na ho.

Avni: To mat jaao na.

Neil: Kash main ye kar pata.

Avni hits his head.

Avni: Abbe pagal. Iss ek mahine ke liye to dur mat ho...ye to tumhaare bass mein hai.

Silence.

Avni comes to her emotional blackmailing form.

Avni (crying): Tumhe durr jana hai na...to aaj hi chale jaon. Kyun ho idhar? Chale jaaon yahan se. Aur yaad rakhna...agar tum gaye na to main tumse kabhi baat nhi karungi. Kabhi nahi.

Bichara Neil humesha Avni ke jaal mei phass jata hai.

Neil: Angel, tum kyu ro rahi ho. Tumhe pata hain na ki main tumhe rote hue nahi dekh sakta?

Angel: To bolo ki tum iss ek mahine mei mujhse ek pal ke liye bhi door nahi jaaoge...

Neil: Thik hain nahi jaaunga.

Avni (becomes happy): Promise?

Neil (wiping her tears): Promise.

Avni: Aur tum jitne time idhar rahoge utne din mujhe uthaane aaoge?

Neil: Haan

Avni: Aur yaad rakhna... agar tum nahi aaye to mai tab tak soti rahungi jab tak tum mujhe naa uthaao.

Neil: Okay meri lady don. I Promise. Abb Khush?

Avni: yess...

She yells and hugs Neil tightly and kisses him on his cheeks... 😘🙈🙈

Neil gets shocked.

Avni: Par tumhe aaj ke liye punishment milega.

Neil: Kaisa punishment?

Avni: Tumhe har roz mere saath khelna hoga, mujhe gaana sunana hoga and mere saath bohot bohot bohot time spend karna hoga...

Neil: Hmmm....Isse achcha punishment to mere liye kuch nahi ho sakta...

Day 1
Avneil are in the garden. Avni is sitting on the bench when Neil brings a bunch of flower in front of her and sings...

Day 2

Avneil are in Neil's room. Neil is playing his guitar and singing. Avni is looking towards him. Neil comes forward and bends till their nose almost touch each others...and then bounces back.

Day 3

Neil (outside Avni's window): Avni

Avni looks down. Neil sings.

Day 4

Avneil are in the garden. Avni walks while Neil puts his hands beneath her foot. And she walks placing her foot over Neil's palm. (she was insisted to)

Day 5

Neil closes Avni's eyes with his palm and brings her on the terrace. He tells her to open her eyes and see the stars in the sky. Then they lay down and spend some time.

Day 6

Neil runs around Avni  near a fountain singing. Avni smiles at his antics. A bit of sadness is seen in her eyes.

Day 7

Avni is upset. She had been counting the days left for her happiness. She sits under a tree to read a book. She didn't know that Neil was present at the top of the same tree who came down singing.

Neil stands in front of her providing a shade and then leaves the place allowing the sun to kiss his lady....

Day 8

Neil is pushing the swing on which Avni sits with a gleaming face. He stops the swing suddenly and whispers in her ears:

Day 9

This time Neil only plays the guitar resting his back on a pillar and Avni sings while walking past him providing the same shade and move away...

Har ghadi badal raha hai roop zindagi
Chaav hai kahhi hai dhoop zindagi

Day 10

Neil is standing by his window and staring at Avni who is dancing around outside....and sings to himself.......

Chaahe jo tumhe poore dil se
Milta hai woh mushkil se

Day 11

Avni hugs a tree and stares at Neil playing the guitar....and sings to herself...

Aisa jo koi kahin hai
Bas vahi sabse hasin hai

Day 12

Neil gives his hand. Avni holds Neil's hand and they walk together (to a place which I don't know...pardon me😜  )

Us haath ko tum thaam lo

Jo hai sama, Kal ho na no

**Time gap till Day 30**

Day 30

It was the last day for Neil to stay there. Both were super upset. Avni was more.....

Neil comes to meet his Angel....only to see her Angel crying.

Neil: Angel, tum ro kyu rahi ho? Maine kahan tha na ki main tumhaari aankhon mei aansun nhi dekhna chahta...

Avni : Tu jo nazron ke saamne kal hoga nahi
Tujhko dekhe bin main
Mar na jaaun kahin 

Neil puts his fingers on her lips.

Neil: Angel, tum ye kaisi baat kar rahi ho! Agar tumne aisi baat phir se ki na to.....

Avni: Mujhe promise karo Neil ki tum mujhe kabhi nahi bhuloge.

Neil:Tujhko bhool jaaun kaise

Maane na, manaaun kaise?
Tu bata...

Avni smiles. Neil holds her hand. Their foreheads touches and they both weep together....

Roke na ruke naina

Teri ore hai inhe toh rehna

Avneil spend the day together. It was night. The day seemed to past very soon... Neil makes Avni sleep... Neil opens Avni's window thinking of something. He looks at his sleeping Angel and leaves with a sob. He stands near the window recalling every moment with Avni. He had no sleep in his eyes. He felt restless...

O...Kaat'ta hoon laakhon lamhein

Kat'te nahin hain

Avni was sleeping but tears still flowed down her eyes. 

Neil had 8:00 am flight. He wanted to leave before Avni wakes up. He tells the same to Shweta. Shweta understood him and decided to leave at 4:30 am.

At 4:00 am.

Neil climbs up to Avni's window...kisses his sleeping beauty...whispers a sorry and leaves without a noise. Neil sat in the car and it drove off....

Avni's tears had dried off.

Neil had gloominess spread all over his face..

Sookh gaye hain aansu teri judai ke

Palkon se phir bhi baadal
Chhant'te nahin hain

Shweta: Neil...mujhe pata hai ki tum dukhi ho. Par please thoda to smile karo. 

Neil forces a smile and then looks outside the window....he closes his eyes and recalls every moment with Avni...........

Neil and his family reaches Delhi while Avni still rests asleep in her bed. She didn't wake up. By that time, Neil's eyes were red and swollen and Shweta's heart broke into million pieces seeing Neil's condition. 

In Mehta Mansion, Neela cried on seeing Avni in her deep slumber. No one could wake her up.

Prakash's deal may bring profit to him but it snatched a lot from these two souls...
