Avneil enjoyed a good weekend together just spending time with each other. On Saturday morning neil slept in but avni woke up and after her daily routine she went to go wake neil up .She had given all the workers a break since it was only her and neel. She decided to go out with neel fo breakfast. SO she got down to the task of waking her husband

Avni- Neel...neel wake up she said softly caressing his face

Neel- justsnuggled further into his pillow

Avni- smiled at his antics and said- Neel please utho na.

But it didn't look like he was the least bit interested in waking up

Avni- acting sad- accha thik hai, main akeli hi shower karleti hoon...tum aaram se utho.

Neel was up in an instant holding avni tight by her waist.

When he looked at her he realised he had been played because avni was already out from her shower. She was only playing with him to get him up form bed because she knew that neel would never turn down the suggestion to shower together!

Neel- Wifey this is not fair!

Avni- moved closer to him and whispered in his ears- Everything is fair in love and war mr.khanna and she lightly bit on his earlobe

Neel- tightened his hold on her effectively preventing her from moving. Accha ok then- and he proceeded to attack her with tickles. And avni just kept squirming and giggling in his arms trying to get up but failing miserably.

Neel was enjoying tickling her. HE had only found out that she was ticklish recently by accident and ever since he discovered that he knew he had discovered an awesome weapon. Hearing avnis screams and giggles as he tickled her was music to his ears and he couldn't think of a better start to his morning.

Avni- Neel please chodo na. please yaar

Neel- kyun, tumhi ne kaha na everything is fair in love and war. He stopped tickling but decided on something even more fun- now his lips were on her- kissing her face and neck

Avni- neel please... but this was a half hearted plea because his lips felt amazing on her skin and she was losing control. She moaned as he bit on her neck and then caressed the spot with his tongue. She quickly took off his shirt and moved her hands across his toned back and chest.

Neel was loving the feel of her hands on him and tensed his muscles as her felt her nails graze him seductively. And avni was spurned on by his reaction to her. She traced her hands lower and lower until she found his pajama pants and tried to push it down.

Neel- his breathing was ragged but he managed to say- wifey you have too many clothes on.

Avni pulled back momentarily and in one swift motion removed her top and threw it away and went back to kissing him and simultaneously pushing his pajamas down all the way.

She stroked him slowly and neel was losing his mind with all the sensations coursing in him.

HE made short work of the remainder of her clothes as well and once again they had a steamy passionate encounter. As they both came down from their high they remained in each others embrace a little longer

Neel- once his breathing had normalised he suddenly realised that this was their first morning sex! What a way to start the day!

Avni was placing feathery kisses on his chest and neel said- wifey if you continue this I can guarantee that we are not leaving the room today!

Avni immediately stopped and blushed a deep red. Sorry I got carried away she said sheepishly

Neel- are you crazy? What are you apologising for? I'm not complaining at all...I'm all for doing this all day but I know you had plans for the day.

Avni- Ya I wanted to go out for breakfast but I don't feel like going anywhere now she sighed as she snuggled into his chest

Neel- Good to know that my wifey finds me so irresistible he teased

Avni- wanted to comeup with a smart comeback but when she thought about it she realised it was true so she gave up!

Neel- I'm shocked wifey... No comeback like usual!

Avni- it is what it is, she said and placed another kiss on his chest tracing patterns on him

Neel- for the record the feelings are mutual wifey. And he just held her tight enjoying the feel of her warm breath on his skin, her fingers which were tracing some random design.

After a few minutes both their stomachs gave a loud rumble!

They just laughed together!

Neel- well looks like the body is demanding some fuel. I'm hungry.

Avni- Yeah me too. I was all showered and ready to go you know she reminded him...

Neel- YA well serves you right for playing me with the idea of a shower together. Now that I got you dirty again we can actually shower together, he winked at her!

They both got ready finally and headed out for a brunch.

They enjoyed feeding each other pancakes and helped themselves to a scrumptious breakfast. After that they headed back home because neel got a call from the amazon delivery guy and avni saw that there was a LARGE parcel waiting at the doorstep

Avni- arey amazon parcel, kisne ki online shopping she asked neil

Neil- khud hi dekh lo

Avni- this is for me she said excitedly looking at the large parcel!

Neel- watched with anticipation as she opened the parcel impatiently

Avni- squealed with joy when she opened and realised what it was...CARROM BOARD!!! She said excitedly

She looked up at Neel with a big smile and gave him a hug!

I love it Neel. Tumhe kaise pata ki mujhe carom khelna pasand hai! I don't remember telling you

Neel- voh us din Ali ne kaha tha na...

Avni was shocked that neil had paid attention to such small details about her also.

Neel- Waise tumhaare information ke liye bata doon, main bhi carom kaafi ache se khel leta hoon

Avni- accha? Challenge kar rahe ho? She asked

Neel- ya why not wifey, ek game hojaye? he tapped her nose gently.

Avni- alright, its on husband!

Neel- just grinned at her competitive streak and shook his head fondly as she started setting up the board and the coins.

Avni- ok all set to lose mr.khanna she teased him?

Neel- tumse haarne ke liye hum forever ready hai jaaneman he said dramatically

Avni- Neel please tum apni nautanki band karo.

Neel- Ok fine but we should have some terms. Jeetne vale ko kya milega?

Avni- ooh...bet lagarahe ho, now you're talking husband...jeetne vala dusre ko uski bucket list se koi bhi cheez karva sakta hai!

Neel- okai, good idea wifey! Mere saath rah ke tum bahut smart banti jaa rahi ho he teased her

Avni- oh please, smart toh main humesha se thi., she huffed

Chalo game shuru karte hai, best of 3 ok?

Neel- whatever you say wifey and he blew her a kiss!

Avni- Neel, tum aise tactics nahi use karsakte, its against the rules!

Neel- Arey abhi toh maine kuch kiya bhi nahi hai, he laughed!

Avni- haan toh main tumhe itna acche se toh jaanti hoon---isliye pahle bol rahi hoon, u cant do such tactics during the game ok

Neel- wait a minute, tum karo toh thik hai, main karun toh nahi?

Avni- maine kab kiya

Neel- wifey, let me refresh your memory...do you remember a kabbadi match we played in goa

Avni- voh voh..that was different!

Neel- really? How so?

Avni- tum uski baat kyun kar rahe ho, tum abhi pe focus karo. Iss game main you cant pull all this kissing stuff to distract me ok

Neel- so tum maanti ho ki I manage to distract you he said with a grin. He was enjoying this nok jhok with his wifey. Its the way their story had started and what had first drawn his attention to her... she was a little tigress, never one to back down from any challenge and always quick-witted!

Avni- Tell you what, I'll show you that I wont get affected. Lets play she said

Both avni and neel realised that the other was very good at the game too. They both matched each other. Both had a great aim and were good with angles and finding the pockets.

Neel was enjoying looking at how avni stuck out a tongue when she was focused on her coins and how she would celebrate every pocketed coin.

It was a close 1st round but avni won it in the end

Neel made a come back by winning the 2nd round

And in the alst round it came down to the wire. They both had one coin on the board along with the queen. After multiple attempts at failing to hit the cover afer the queen at last Avni had the last laugh and won the game!

Avni- Yes! She got up and did her celebratory jig but alone without ali this time!

Neel- just laughed watching her childlike enthusiasm . If anyone told him that he would be enjoying on a sat afternoon playing carom with his wifey 2 years back he would never have believed it. But here he was, and he had never been happier. These were the little joys in life, the companionship that he had always looked forward to in his life partner and everyday with avni was turning out to be filled with just that...he was so proud of how far she had come. When he met her she was a fierce but broken girl who was fighting the demons of her past and now after so many trials and tribulations she was here...and everyday he saw more of the Avni in her surface and showcase itself to him. And literally everyday he was falling more and more in love with her. As he sat there lost in his thoughts Avni snapped her fingers in front of him

Neel kahan kho gaye?

Neel- I love you avni he said without preamble

Avni- was surprised at his sudden declaration but overwhelmed as well.

She reached out for him and pulled him into an embrace and whispered- I love you too. And more and more everyday

Neel- pulled back and looked at her incredulously- that's exactly what I was thinking

Avni- just chuckled at him and said- great minds think alike! And she gave him a peck on the cheek!

Neel- just grinned in contentment and gave her another hug

Once they broke off Neel asked- ok wifey so what item of your bucket list are we going to tick off?

Avni- actually its not really a bucket list item, it's a few things I've done before ...but not with you! So this time we're doing it together.

Neel- hmm, sounds interesting. Aisa kya karne vale hai?

Avni- u'll know tonight mr.husband- but be prepared for a really long night- she said with a wink

Later that evening both of them got ready

Avni- they went to chowpatty. Bachpan main na ali aur main pani poori competition karte the aur uske baad gola khaate the but kaafi time se maine na chaat khaya hai so todays the day!

Neel- hum sirf chaat khaane aaye hain, tum ne toh itna hype diya tha ki maine socha kuch amazing hoga!

Avni- neel aage aur bhi cheezein hain. But u know na pahle pet pooja fir kaam dooja!

Neel just chiuckled at her and said I agree!

And both of them enjoyed the lipsmacking chaat and the street food...once they had had their fill

Avni said ok mr.khanna its time for item no.2 on the list

And she led him to a mela that was happening nearby and said- Its time for the ferris wheel!

And Avni and neel were acting like little kids who were excited to go on the ferris wheel. At the top they took selfies together. Once they had walked around in the mela soaking in the fun atmosphere it was fairly late.

Avni- Ok neel now its time for the next stop.

Neel- was curious as to where avni would take him next. She drove them towards the airport and found a secluded spot there which was facing the runway. Then she parked the car and made her way to sit on the bonnet of the car. Neel joined her on the bonnet next to her

Avni- Ye jab main dilli main thi toh I used to do it a lot, vahaan pai actually main apne aap aise long drive pe nikal jaati thi aur air base ke pass fighter planes ko udta dekhti thi. For some reason watching planes take off gives me a feeling of wonder as well as a strnage sense of calm...i'm not sure what it is really but mujhe bas planes ko udta dekhna accha lagta hai. Ab yahaan pe airbase toh nahi hai but airport toh hai so I thought we can come here and see this...

Neel- was silently listening to her and looked rather contemplative

Together they watched silently planes landing and taking off...Sometime later avni realised neel hadn't said anything since he came so she freaked out...

Avni- sorry neel, ye kaafi silly hai I know...u must be wondering ki main kaafi ajeeb hoon na...I'm sorry. I wanted to do fun things with you today but I guess I don't really know how to do that...next time I'll let you only plan. Main jab bhi kuch plan karti hoon kaafi FLOP ho jaata hai she rambled on

Neel- shhh Avni, kitna bolti ho tum! HE just held her hand and pulled her into his side, draping an arm around her. I have loved this whole day that I've spent with you. I've never felt happier or more alive than when I'm with you. Pata hai jab main school or college main tha I was very happygo lucky and I had lot of friends...but after that I lost touch with everyone. Especially chuhi ki death ke bad when I decided on joining police force, my life changed. I grew up really fast and became consumed with work and the harsh realities of life. I havent had a chance to just sit back and enjoy the little things until you came into my life...all this stuff that you come up with is so refreshing avni! And I love that tum choti choti cheezon mein khushi dhundhti ho like riding bikes, running on the beach, eating chaat n gola, playing carrom or going on a ferris wheel! And this- just sitting and watching the planes take off and land- I know what you mean- I feel it too- sukoon vaali feeling hai...so thank you avni. This has been an amazing day!

Avni- smiled and snuggled into him. Seriously? Tumhe sach main accha laga?

Neel- yes avni. I wouldn't lie to you. And anyway as long as youre by my side I'm happy doing anything!

Avni- chuckled- ye kaafi cheesy line nahi thi?!

Neel- haan, but sach bhi thi! And he pecked her head

Avni- hmm...she sighed

Avni- ok ready to head back?

It was already midnight when they were heading back home- it was a relaxing drive, just the two of them and some nice music on the car stereo. and suddenly avni said- mujhe bhook lagi hai

Neel- avni, iss time pe kuch nahi khula hoga!

Avni- MR supercop, I cant believe you've lived all your life in this city! I know just the place..

Neel- really, mujhe bhi dekhna hai ki iss time pe tumhe khaana kaha milta hai

Avni- stopped the car after a few minutes and said- chalo

Neel just followed her curiously

Avni- led him to a dingy looking local restaurant/bar where the shutters were half down

Neel- avni, they are getting ready to shut down, isliye shutter bhi adha band hai. Plus ye kaafi shady jagah hai...I told you yahaan koi khana nahi milega is time pe

Avni- shh, kitna bolte ho tum neil she mimicked his earlier dialogue

Avni knocked on the shutter 3 times and called out in a loud whisper- Madan bhai

Seconds later the shutter opened and a middle aged gentleman stood there with a huge smile- aila, dekho toh kaun hai. Apun ko laga tu yahaan ka raasta bhulich gayi...

Avni- Arey nahi bhai, bus thoda kaam vaam me faseli thi. Accha kuch khaane ko milega?

Madan- haan, abhi aagayi na line pe. Mujhe patayich tha ki tereko bhook laga rehenga isliye tu idhar tapkeli hai! Chal baith...

Avni grinned at him and made her way to a table.

Neel meanwhile had watched dumbfounded. First of all the bar was open. It was not business hours but it wasn't deserted like he thought... there were atleast 3-4 other customers who were sipping alcohol with chakna. He had watched the whole exchange of avni and this madan bhai in shock...avni had sounded SO tapori just now and clearly she had been here several times. One the one hand he thought it was really cool and badass that avni was hanging out at such a "Local place and had friends everywhere...on the other hand he was worried that she had spent time in such a shady looking place in the past...

A server came back in a few seconds- Last order hai.

Avni- Do half chowmein aur ek tomyum soup

Neel- nahi nahi mujhe nahi chahiye

Avni- gave him a kick on his shin

Neel- looked at her in surprise!

Avni- once the server left she beckoned him closer and said in a whisper, do half main ek full se zyaada milta hai.

Neel looked at her in shock!

Once the food came she dug into it. And then few seconds later she looked up at him and said- khao ge?

Neel wasn't sure what to do-

Avni- arey khaana acha hai inka...try toh karo!

Neel- gave in and took a bite of the chowmein and was shocked!

Avni- bola tha na maine she grinned!

Once they finished eating and avni had said goodbye to madan bhai after giving him a generous tip after arguing with him to take it and also and promising to visit soon they made their way back to the car

Neel- you know I have to ask right

Avni- chuckled- main check kar rahi thi ki tum kitne der tak bina sawaal kiye rahsakte ho!

Neel- haha, I'm a cop, its my job to ask questions. Tum aise shady jagah ko jaanti kaise ho?

Avni- little angrily- mr.khanna that's very judgemental. How have you decided that the jagah is shady?

Neel- avni there were only 3 customers in the place who were all drinking!

Avni- angrily- toh? Drink kar rahe toh assume karliya ki jagah shady hai. They were all minding their own business and not being tharki or anything! Plus the bar is madan bhai's and Madan bhai bahut acche hai.

Neel- ok fine, I'm sorry. But tell me how do you know him?

Avni- voh main unse bachpan main mili thi. Unhone neelama ki help ki thi mujhe hospital tak pahunchaane main jab main goli kha ke giri thi...

Neel was shocked. This wasn't the answer he was expecting. I'm sorry avni. I didn't know.

Avni-ye sab log jinko main jaanti hoon, voh ameer aur zyaada educated nahi hai, chawl main rahne waale hai...but unke dil bade hain. Jab kisi ne gaadi nahi roka tha tab madan bhai ne na sirf gaadi roka aur hospital pahunchaya but uske baad bhi milne aaye, neelama ki madad ki aur 123 gang ka jo sheru hai voh inka chota bhai hai. People like madan bhai have a lot of struggles in their own life to make ends meet for their family but whenever you ask them for help they will really do everything they can. They are just very misunderstood people..

Neel- I'm sorry avni. I shouldn't have been so judgemental. I guess main kuch zyaada hi protective ho gaya. But honestly this is one of the reasons I love you...the fact that you have such unlikely friends but you have chosen such amazing people as your friends. Whether it is ali or case 123 gang...you've shown me that it doesn't hurt to talk to everybody irrespective of their background because at the end of the day all that doesn't matter! I'm sorry ki maine madan bhai ke bar ko shady kaha,maaf kardo mujhe..he said cutely

Avni- ok ok! She said with a shake of her head at his cute antics

As they drove back home, Neel couldn't help but marvel at his ajooba of a wife. She was truly special. And each day with her he was discovering new facets of her, new facts of her life and in the process also rediscovering himself as well! Marriage was truly an adventure with avni and he was definitely excited about not only their present but also the days to come!
