It was nearly 9 when neil reached avni’s apartment.he rang the bell but she didn’t open the door.he took out the key and opened the door and sound of shower .he understood that she was bathing so waited for her in the hall itself.by then the rain was stopped and almost all the roads were cleared.he turned on the tv and watched it by then avni came out.she was wearing a simple kurta and bottom.still looked like an angel.avni smiled t neil.

Avni:sorry,did you wait for long?

Neil:no..i just came.come I will change your bandage.

Avni get the first aid kit and neil changed her dressing.

Avni:come let’s eat something.

Neil:yeah sure.i am damn hungry.

They both ate the special biriyani prepared by avni.neil had already became a fan of avni's cooking.

Neil:avni...you have magic in your hands you know..

Avni:thank you neil...

Neil:i wish i could eat your food everyday...
Avni smiled at this. they talked for long time.neil thought that it was best time to ask her about her family.but seeing her happiness he decided against it.

Neil:so avni..if you want you can take leave for somedays.

Avni:no neil im absolutely fine..

Neil:ok then as you wish.i will leave then.u will be fine alone right?

Avni:don’t worry I will be fine.thank you for everything you have done for me.

Neil:no need avni..dont forget to take your medicine ok?

Avni:yes sir....

Neil and avni smiled and went to door and neil left from there smiling wishing her good night.avni closed the door smiling.but again failed to notice something around them. Next day both were ready to go to office.but something important came up and neil had to left early.but he ensured that avni reach office safe.but the moment avni reached office she sensed something really bad.suddenly mithali came there running.her face confirmed her doubts.

Mithali:avni…where were you??and where is neil sir?

Avni:what happened mithai?

Mithali:tell me where is neil sir?

Avni:neil sir went for an important meeting I guss.he told me in the morning that he had to meet someone .

Mithali:avni..i thnk you should go from here now.come back when neil sir is here..plz go now..

Avni:what happened mithali?u are scaring me..

Mithali:avni…our entire office is filled with your pictures with neil sir…and that too very..

Avni:what??

Mithali:yes avni…someone had done this and by now the entire office had seen that pictures and they are bad mouthing you.

Tears started flowing from her eyes like rain.she never in her life thought that she will face such a day.sudenly one of the employee saw avni and informed others.soon everyone came there and started murmuring something.suddenly came sound of someone talking in a microphone.it was none other than riya.

Riya:soo..miss cheap arrived finally.i already knew that you were cheap.infact we all knew it.but never thought that you will stoop soo low.dont you felt ashamed to trap neil and get him in your bed.

Avni was shocked as hell to hear this.she felt like some one had ripped her skin off.

Juhi:now stop your fake tears everyone here saw the dirty truth of yours.you wanna see??

With that juhi dragged avni to the office and showed her the pics.the pic was of avniel lying in the couch hugging,avneil standing infront of apartment door fully drenched and in a very dishelved state and the pics of neil entering avnis’s apartment at night and returning.avni was motion less as dead.riya threw the pics at avni’s face .

Riya:didn’t you felt ashamed to trap my boyfriend for satisfying your filthy needs?

Juhi:bcz of girls like you we all have to face the cosequences.see she is such a cheap girl,still standing infront of us.why don’t you go and die somewhere?

That was it avni lost all her control she ran away from there,she ran out of the office and took an auto to reach her flat.but what welcomed her there was also not less.the entire society people were gathered there.they were waiting for her.she was about to go to the lift,some ladies stopped her.

Lady1:where are you going?girls like you do not have the right to live with people like us.

Lady2:right…we too have girl children in our house.bcz of you their name will get spoiled too.

Society secretary:look girl we have took a decision you have to leave here.we don’t want a girl like you in our society who share such a dirty relationship with a stranger.

Avni:I didn’t do anything..

A lady came and threw the same photos on her face.

Lady3:then what the hell is this?look girl leave from here before we throw you out of here.

Secretary:do you want another proof? you have 1 hour to pack your things.with in that time we want you out of here.otherwise we will have to force you.

Avni ran from there to her apartment.she was really hepless.except breathing she wasn’t able to do anything.after sometime mithali came there.avni ran to her and hugged her and cried her heart out.

Avni:mithali..i didn’t do anything..plzz atleast you belive me..plzz

Mithali:I trust you avni..i trust you…I trust neil sir too…but where is he now?did you call him?

Avni:I called him but he told me that his phone will be off until the meeting is over.

Avni went to her room and started packing her stuffs.

Mithali:avni..why are you packing all this?

Avni told mithali every thing and mithali felt really bad for avni.but she was helpless too.with in sometime avni packed everything.but she was still unaware of where to go.

Mithali:avni…where are you going??

Avni:I don’t know mithali..but I can’t stay here.may be I will go back to Bikaner.

Mithali:Bikaner??but avni..

Avni:I know mithali what is waiting for me there..but now I don’t have any other option.

Mithali:avni…I wish I could help you.but you know my situation..plz forgive me..

Avni:its ok mithali..i understand..i don’t know whether we will meet again.but I wont forget you till my last breath.

Mithali:avni..why are you speaking like this..? Avni... Why dont you wait for neil....

Avni just smiled and left from there taking her luggage.mithali followed her.she handed the keys to the secretary and told him that he will get the spare key by evening.she walked out of the building in the heavy rain which started along with avni’s tears.she walked aimlessly with her all time companion “RAIN”…..
