Riya placed her camera stand properly to capture the sun set

Riya was sitting in front of Ali resting her head on his chest  with Ali's  arm wrapped around her shoulder while taking a sip of coconut water .

Avni and Neil sat beside each other a little bit closer.. as the sun was setting slowly Avni rested her head on Neil's shoulder enjoying the magic view.. Neil felt it but he didn't look,  neither was he uncomfortable and smiled enjoying how the sunset was looking from up there.. he slowly rested his head on top of avni.. all four lost at the beauty they were witnessing

As the sunset was nearly done avneil relaised their position but none said anything as they felt comfortable and knew they were not doing anything wrong..  they were friends and in friendship u should be comfortable but here they didn't know exactly but knew something is changing unaware that the barriers around their heart is slowly breaking to allow  the love to capture their hearts... they knew no justification is needed and they don't even need to argue with their mind to explain the logic to themselves.

Both of their pov was the same this moment and that was This  just felt right

Next few days went like this for avneil.. both were getting really comfortable with each other.. shrugging their feelings now and then.

It was one of their last day in goa... while Riya and avni had gone shopping to get something for the family.. Neil and Ali decided to relax at the beach with drinks

Both were sitting on the beach chair.. taking a sip of their drink enjoying the atmosphere

Ali: time went so quick na.. can't believe we r going back tomorrow..

Neil:yup.. it was fun.. but more fun for u and Riya he said in a teasing way..

Ali:Neil tum bhi na... he said scratching his head while having a big smile

Neil: by the way I hope u give us a good new soon

Ali:Neil now that is too much now haan he said trying to hide his blush

Neil: what it's true.

Ali:but frankly speaking.. I must thank bebe and shweta aunty...the things u all have done for me lately i just don't know how to thank u all... I just don't know how to repay u back

Neil:come on Ali u r family... I'm glad u r staying with us.. besides u don't need to repay us anything.. if mom and bebe heard u say this ... u would have got good scolding.

Ali:in that scolding their love would be hidden.

Neil:hmm love is such a thing which is special

Ali: correct.. I'm blessed to have all of your love....talking about love now.. u know Neil.. I never thought I would actually fall for riya.. but I did.. and we came out this strong.. I mean peole know we r poles apart.. but still that love is there that is holding us together along with the understanding and trust we have for each other.

Neil:u love her too much na

Ali:haan.. I'm blessed to have her.. someone may think that Riya probably gives importance to her make up and dressing sense more.. and somewhere she does give importance to that... but when it comes to her loved ones she would put them first.. just like avni.. Neil looked up when Ali mentioned avni name.

Ali: both of them can do anything for their family.. I have seen Riya as a great support system for avni when they were young and their bond has increased over the years

Neil:how did u know u love Riya I mean for the first time.

Ali:it was just a different feeling.. small small moments with each other would make us happy..it's like somewhere we both felt something for each other but we were confused... then as during time went.. we felt there is something that is pulling us closer to each other.. it's like  u just know this is the girl that makes u happy... the girl that u want to be with as your heart just starts to beat in a different rhythm when u see her

As ali was saying all this  Neil recalled his small moments with Avni even though it was like sweet and sour  he started to get flashes from since they first met till now. As if recalling their journey from strangers to friend to a ... a feeling that he wasn't able to describe or maybe he knew but wasn't sure

His mind went back to how they met first

Their arguments

Him telling her he will make her say thank u and sorry while she wasn't ready for it

Their arguments at each other's house

Him annoying her.. while she would answer back in her own way

Saving her from the drunk boys

Her thanking him

Them becoming friends

Getting to know each other

Holi incident

Telling about each others bitter past

Agreeing to get married for their family sake

Feeding her during her sangeet ceremony

Sitting and talking at the terrace while aliya was meeting secretly as they were told they can't see each other.

When he would get lost in her for few secs seen her all decked up

The cute arguments they would have now and then

The beach moment where she tripped and fell on him.. then the pool moment
And a recent one which hapoened yesterday as she had woken up up early and was sitting against the railing reading a book while her hair was blowing due to the wind

Neil in his head: while Ali said all that y was I remembering things that happened between me and avni.. y did i recall all those moments when he was talking about how he fell in love with riya.. . am i in love?.. no no no.. but then y would I think about avni when Ali was saying all that.. I should be thinking about my moments with juhi...but instead I'm thinking about avni...does that mean I actually have fallen for her?.. but how can that be possible... like just out of the blue.. or I just didn't realise how avni has become a part of me... am I doing wrong by falling in love again this time?.. y is the feeling totally different.. have I finally moved on from juhi?... the way Ali described love i never felt like that for juhi and remebeered my times with Avni.. but that doesn't mean i didn't feel for anything for juhi I did but with avni it feels totally different like magical .. avni is important to me.. somewhere spending time with her gives me peace.. it makes me happy.. I do feel soemthing for Avni and I can't deny that.. but can i call that as love?.. do i have a chance to be happy again and fall in love... if it is love then i don't think I can let go of avni and only time will tell. but does she feel the same way too?.. i dont want to ruin things by asking her.. maybe I should wait and see how things go between us.. maybe I might get a hint from her and also get to know this exact feeling I have for her..  I'm not sure what I'm feeling...I can't guarantee if it's love but i can surely guarantee that u do make my heart beat faster Avni...and i love spending each moment with u.. when I see u happy  i feel happy

Neil suddenly came back to reality when he heard Ali's voice and turned to look at ali who looked at him confusingly

Neil: what?

Ali:what were u thinking about ...here i was talking but no u r lost in your own world

Neil: sorry I was listening to u but just got lost for a moment

Ali: thinking about what

Neil:when I get.the correct answer I'll let u know myself .. Ali frowned but nodded

Meanwhile. Avni and riya had bought few things for the khanna family and now they were looking for something for the metha family, parikh family and  for akash,kia and dd.

Riya: avni what about this shirt.. do u think bade papa will like it.. avni who was looking for something to get dayawanti looked at riya

Avni: I don't know.. u decide she said avoiding to pick something for ashish.

Riya:come on Avni.. help na.. u would know better..

Avni: I know what ketan chachu would prefer but I don't know about him

Riya:ok choose a colour for him at least u will know his fav colour right

Avni looked at riya..

Avni:blue was his favourite colour not sure if it has changed now

Riya: perfect I'll pick this one for him she said and avni nodded.

They collected few more things for the rest and kept the bags in the shop telling the shop owner to deliver it at the hotel giving the address.. and  were now looking at random things

Riya: avni remember us dressing up wearing these type  of bangles when we were small 

Avni: please don't even remind me that was so embarrassing especially the way i had lipstick all over my face.. thank god nobody else saw that

Riya: arien I found that pic from dad phone and posted on insta she said casually and then bit her tounge realising what she said

Avni: what!!! she said getting shocked

Riya: nothing

Avni:riyaaa what did u say

Riya:that dad had a picture of us like that

Avni: how?

Riya: he had secretly took it without us noticing.. two month back I was going through his phone album and saw that picture..

Avni:and instead of deleting it.. u sent it on your phone and uploaded it on insta 

Riya: yah I mean we looked cute na. Besides it was sweet that he didn't tell us he took a pic of that time otherwise u would have made him delete it

Avni:I.will see chachu later on but first u delete it of insta

Riya:come on Avni

Avni: no just do it

Riya:babes do u know how many likes and lovely comments I got for that pic of ours.. I'm not going to delete it

Avni: Riya I said delete it now.. u might find it cute but I don't besides u could have cropped my picture but no u didn't do that

Riya: because we both looked cute

Avni:give me your phone now she said moving towards riya

Riya:what no she said slowly moving backwards

Avni tries to get near Riya but she ran while avni ran after her.. this continued on for 5 mins

Avni: ouch she cried (zain wala ouch 😂😉)

Riya stopped running and turned around and the smile on her face disappeared when she saw avni on the floor holding her ankle and quickly ran towards her

Riya:avniii

Avni: it's paining a lot I think I sprained my ankle

Riya: ok get up slowly..

Avni: Riya I can't

Riya: bhaiya can u please help me make my sister sit here please

The guy nodded and helped riya make avni stand and then helped her sit down 

Guy:do u need me to call the doctor

Riya: that would be great thanks

The guy nodded and moved away to call the doctor

Riya:I'm sorry babes this happened because of me

Avni:u r not at fault Riya so don't say sorry.

Suddenly riya phone rang

Riya:hey baby she said picking up

Ali: hey how long will u be

Riya:maybe a little late avni feels she sprained her ankle so we r just waiting for the doctor

Ali: what? how did that happen? Neil looked up hearing Ali worried

Riya: actually we were messing about and she started chasing me so...

Ali: where r u both?

Riya: we r near xyz market.

Ali:ok we r coming there now.. Riya agreed and ended the call.

Neil: what happened?

Ali: actually avni has hurt her ankle... the doctor is on the way to check it

Neil: What? We should get going then.. I swear this girl never takes care of herself properly

Ali was surprised but smiled at the same time

Ali:yeah let's go he said calmly looking at Neil

Meanwhile the doctor had come and was checking avni ankle

D1ocotor:don't worry it's a small sprain.. u will be fine just make sure u don't put too much pressure.. I have applied the spray so that should help.. but if it hurts too much take some pain killer

Avni nodded while the doctor left

Ali and Neil arrived after 5 mins and saw avni and riya.. Neil looked at avni feet noticing the blue bandage ankle support.

Riya: hey guys?

Avni looked at riya and then at the boys who was walking towards them 

Ali: what did the doctor say

Riya:a small sprain she just needs to rest and in few days she will be fine

Neil: can't u take care of yourself properly... what if it was something serious..avni looked at Neil and so did aliya

Avni: I'm fine Neil she said noticing the concern in his tone.

Neil:yeah I can clearly see that.. 

Ali: let's go back to the hotel I'm sure u both r done with your shopping

Riya:yup all done.

Neil helped avni get up. He held one of her hand while his other hand was around her shoulder.. she looked at him to see him looking at her and gave her a small smile
As she took a step to walk she stopped

Avni: great I can't even walk properly  as soon as she said the Neil lifted her in his arms surprising her

Avni: Neil what r u doing

Neil: just helping u .. since u can't walk

Avni: I thought I'm heavy for u she said teasingly

Neil: that's what u think he said slowly smiling.. Ali and riya walked behind them smiling to see how things r shaping up between avneil and looked at each other knowing they r thinking the same

An hour later... all four reached to hotel and Neil carried avni.. avni saw how people were looking at them some were smiling while some were surprised

Ali swiped the card and opened the door to avneil room while Neil placed Avni on the bed and riya placed a cushion under her feet

Ali: chalo see u at dinner time

Riya: we will order food over here since it will be easier for avni. .

Avni :I don't mind I can eat here ...u three can meet downstairs and eat

Neil: nope Riya is right

Few hours later all had dinner while talking about how amazing this trip has been and also packed their clothes ...riya had helped Neil pack avni's clothes as she was told to rest by all 3..

Neil came out of the washroom and stopped in his tracks to see avni limping towards the small coffee table as she wanted water

Neil: avni what r u doing?

Avni was startled hearing Neil's sudden voice and turned around which lead her to lose her  balance Thanks to her sprained ankle.. she was half way down when suddenly she felt Neil's hand around her waist while her hands were on his shirt collar....

Neil saw avni limping as soon as he called her she turned around losing balance as her sprained feet was of the ground.. he reached towards her quickly grabbing her by the waist.

Both stared at each other if avni hadn't felt the pain on her ankle the eye lock would have lasted longer

Avni:my ankle she whispered closing her eyes and then opened it.. Neil came back to reality.

He picked her up and placed her on her bed

Neil:what's wrong with u?... like your ankle is sprained .. do u want to damage it more he said seriously.

Avni:arien I wanted water...I was thirsty...u was also having a shower so i thought I would take it myself

Neil:what if I didn't come and u fell ....avni thought for a sec and then answered

Avni: maybe I would have been comepelty fine...u just called me at the wrong time and I didn't expect u to come out early which made me lose my balance she said shrugging her shoulder.

Neil placed his hand on his hips and raised one of his eyebrows giving a *r u for serious*look

Avni: what?

Neil:u always try and make sure your point is right

Avni: nope I just know I'm right she said smiling

Neil:yah right he said shaking his head

Avni:can I have some water please and also pain killer.

Neil:wait he said. He poured out water in a glass and gave her two tablets.

Avni: thank u.

Neil: chalo get some sleep now. We have to leave tomorrow...Neil helped her lay down and covered her with a blanket.

Avni:Neil

Neil: hmm he said turning around

Avni: thank u for always been there for me.

Neil: I will never leave your side he said leaning a bit forward and cupped her cheeks.

Avni felt she saw something in his eyes but wasn't able to figure out what it was

Neil: chalo good night.

Avni:good night she said slowly
