The lights went off and after few secs the song started with the lights coming back on  (not a full song . Read few scenes between the lyrics)

Neil took avnis hand while they intertwined their fingers together and looked at each other and he pulled her closee with her other hand resting on his shoulder while his on her waist

Neela looked towards ashish remembering her marriage with ashish and then divorce while she had imagined a happy life with him wheras  ashish was remembering ayesha and her death and those moments he spent with her and then imagined him and ayesha with a grown up avni and aman

Avni smiled seen her matching up to neil step as they moved along to the music slowly holding on to each other

Neil twirled her around twice and then pulled her back with both his hands on her waist and l hers on his chest...he smiled while he moved to tuck a strand of hair to tuck behind her ears slowly swaying to the music

Neil:u know I had never ever thought that we would actually be together like this... here dancing with u,,, finally moving on from my past to live my present with u and build a future with our family

Neil then Turned avni around making her back land on his chest while his hand moved around her stomach and hers on top of his

Avni: our happy family u mean ...and I know this journey will be wonderful she said and closed her eye when neil placed a kiss on the back of her head

Neil twirled Avni few times and then made her land in his arms with their forehead touching and eyes closed
while all clapped and the photographer had took few pictures of them dancing especially the end..

After the engagement was over khanna family left while akash kia, ali and riya stayed back with avneil... all were sitting in the garden 

Akash:man this was the best engagement

Riya: highlight was avni... did anyone think she will give a speech like this.

Avni smiled looking at Neil who looked at her at the same time ...she smiled at him more when he raised his eyebrows making her look down

Kia: bas mendhi function is all sorted along with  sangeet function.

Riya:haan but it will be hectic as mendhi function is in the morning and sangeet at night 

Avni:haan shweta maa had told us that they plan to do both on the same day with mendhi in the morning and sangeet at night.

Akash: at least we somehow have a break tommrow

Ali: well not us except the bride and the groom

Avni:we will be doing our own work too ali

Neil: correct

Riya:no no no u r not going to the cafe infact bua told u to arrive at the salon tommrow afternoon

avni: y?

Kia: diksha bua thought it's been long since avni has come so let me call avni for tea

Avni: very funny she said slapping kia on the arm while the boys chuckled with the way kia said it

Riya:bua said u have to be at the salon around 12 or 1 and if u r late then u r gone for sure she said.

Avni:great means no way to escape

Riya:nope...its the same process like last time during our wedding time.

Avni: will u be coming

Riya: haan and so is kia and Kareena. I only had to inform u.

Neil: ok guys now we would like to excuse u guys he said getting up

Avni: where r u going ?

Ali, Riya, akash and kia looked at each other and shook their head

Ali: avni neil said "we"

Avni: haan toh even I know he said we

Kia: uff this girl is mad...baby Neil is talking about u both and here u questioning as if he is going alone.

Avni: how would I know he was talking about me

Neil chuckled while the rest rested their hands on their forehead

Kia: avni what shall I do with u she said making a crying face

Neil:dont worry I will teach her he said winking while avni gave a annoying  look to Neil.

Avni:yaar y cant everyone speak clearly ...all of u have a habit of twisting words

Akash: ab that is not our fault if u r weak in romance and stuff like this.

Avni: shut up she said 

Neil:ok ok bas ab miss ajooba shall we go

Avni: but where r we going?

Neil: penthouse   .

Riya:ya ya go after all u have to give avni a lesson  on romance too right neil she said teasingly

Neil: absolutely he said playing along..

Avni got up glaring at all...neil gave her a small push so that she starts walking while the gang laughed and shouted a bye

In the car it has been 10 mins but the ride was silence which was a little odd as avni hadn't said a word since they got in the car

Neil looked at avni to see her sitting quietly looking outside

Neil:what happened miss ajooba y r u so quiet ?

Avni turned to look at Neil and then turned to face the window

Neil was baffled and looked at her for a sec and then concentrated on the road

Neil: avni? Kya hua ? Y r u quiet?.u r not even saying anything

Avni:y ? So that u can make fun of me more she said cutely with anger on her nose while looking at neil and then looked ahead with her hands crossed .

Neil:now when did i make fun of u 

Avni: arien haan u dont do anything it was your ghost who was making fun of me with Riya and rest right

Neil:arien avni that was a joke

Avni:joke my foot...become a teacher of romance and u will have many students.

Neil:will u be that student he said teasingly while leaning toward her.

Avni looked at him and pushed him away

Neil:someone seems to be really angry now I must do something to pacify her he said while looking at avni from the corner of his eyes.

Avni:do whatever u want to do

Neil smiled seen her cute angry look 

Meanwhile at the metha mansion

Ketan had gone down to get cold water bottle from the fridge and turned around to see ashish standing near the door

Ketan: bhai u here at this time? Do u want some water? He asked hoping that ashish is here to get something

Ashish: no ketan I dont want water...i just want my daughter he said .

Ketan sighed 

Ketan:bhai I...but he couldnt complete

Ashish: I'm sure u was happy when u was told to give that speech in front of everyone

Ketan: bhai u heard me tell maa to allow u to Give the speech right but she didnt listen 

Ashish:u could have tried more ketan but u wasnt bothered as u have avni with u

Ketan:bhai that is not the case u r taking it all wrong I tried to tell maa but what could I do if she didnt agree. 

Ashish: u could of said more ketan but u didnt...whatever I'm feeling na u wont feel that he said looking at ketan and left while ketan watched him leave and  squeezed his eyes annoyingly 

20 mins later avneil reached to the penthouse

Avneil both got out....as avni headed towards the penthouse neil held her wrist and pulled her to him

Avni:what r u doing she said noticing the smile on his face

Neil:u didn't ask me y I bought u here

Avni:if I had asked would u tell me ? No na

Neil:arien wah my wifey is becoming intelligent

Avni: I was intelligent since before... u just didnt realise she said trying to show that she was still angry but the truth was her anger had vanished.

Neil: is that so

Avni: yess now let's go she said about to turn but for a sec she shrieked when Neil picked her up

Neil: now we can surely go in he said

Avni:neil what r u doing? have u lost it? Put me down.... my feet r fine and I can walk perfectly  she said but neil been neil just ignored her....

he carried her and took her to the bedroom 

Avni: Neil will u please turn off your mute button and speak she said

Neil:here we r he said finally putting her down

Avni glared at him and then turned to face the other way when suddenly she frowned for a sec and her lips parted seen what was in front of her...as she walked near she saw something big leaning against the bed wrapped up

Avni: what is this neil

Neil: y dont u open it up and see it.

Avni looked at him and then walked ahead while neil followed her.

Avni kneeled down while neil waited for her reaction

As she unwrapped it she was blank for a moment

There was a painting with neela on her right and ayesha on the left with a grown up avni....neil saw avni not reacting and kneeled down near her

Neil:avni he said softly placing his hand on her shoulder.

Avni looked ar Neil while her eyes slowly welled up

Avni: I...woh....but she wasnt able to form words

Neil:its ok dont worry he said rubbing her back

Avni shook her head

Avni: this....this is beautiful...during those old days...I...i would always be with maa and neela ma would come and visit too but I always wanted to see ayesha maa with me as I was growing up...but...but she had left us long back and I found support in neela ma...neil u dont know how happy I am seen this painting...a grown up avni was always with neela ma in every pic but a grown up avni with ayesha ma I always had craved for...thank u for making it true in this form she said hugging him while neil wrapped his arms around her and kissed her head.

Neil: ayesha maa is always going to be around u...and she will always be watching over u...acha u want to see something else he said breaking the hug and wiped her tears

Avni:what Else now she said wiping away her tears

Neil:come he said making her stand up and took her to the balcony.

Avni looked at neil seen another gift wrapped up which was like the previous one but a smaller size...neil gestured her to open it and as she did she saw a painting of her and neil with both their hands intertwined with a smile on their face

Avni smiled looking at that painting.

Neil hugged her from the back

Neil: what do u feel about this one

Avni:its beautiful and this painting will be true as we will be walking like this hand in hand she said.

Neil: someone is slowly starting to be romantic he said teasingly.

Avni smiled and turned around in his arms

Avni: who did this painting though?

Neil:I did

Avni : u ? She said a little shocked not expecting him to say that.

Neil: haan ...i thought maybe this can be a engagement gift which u will truley love he said

Avni: neil this is something that I will always keep close to my heart but since when have u been painting

Neil: since childhood but I dont do it always ....it had been long since I painted and thought let me give it a try again

Avni:mr neil Khanna when do u get the time to do all this she said raising her eyebrows with a cheeky smile on her face

Neil: now that is a top secret he said giving one his cheeky smiles

Avni chukled and then looked at Neil with a warm smile

Avni:u r seriously a blessing for me Neil...thank u for always giving me happiness she said hugging him and rested her head against his chest

Neil:and thank u for been my happiness he said stroking her hair 

Avni:Neil its getting late now... we should go she said looking at him.

Neil: few mins of us and I promise we will go he said

Avni nodded but slowly her heartbeat started to beat faster when she felt neil moving his face closer to hers while caressing her lips....avni closed her eyes as she felt Neil lips brush against hers and then claimed it after few secs ... a kiss which was pure of love, a kiss which has trust, happiness, support and a promise of been by each others side till their last breath

40 mins later Neil dropped of avni at the metha mansion and left when he got a call from the police station

Avni entered the metha mansion and was about to head up the stairs when she stopped and turned towards the dining table to see ketan sitting with hand on his forehead...

Avni walked over to him

Avni: chachu?

No response

Avni: chachuuuu she said a little loudly placing her hand on his shoulder

Ketan came out of his thoughts and turned to look at avni ..

Ketan: avni when did u come back ?

Avni:  chachu I came now  but what happened y u sitting here all alone

Ketan: no nothing woh I wasnt feeling sleepy

Avni: and y is that?

Ketan: dont know beta...anyways u go u must be tired. He said turning his back on her and massaged his forehead

Avni looked at him she smiled and slowly started to give a massage on his forehead while ketan moved his hands away

Ketan: avni it's ok u don...but he stopped as avni interuppted

Avni: chachu I like doing this and god knows when I will get to massage your head again she said

Meanwhile ashish was watching this from the stairs

Ketan smiled as avni always gave one of the best massage and for sometime he forgot that convo that happened between him and ashish

Ketan: u know there is some magic in your hands

Avni:I know after all can anybody give a massage like me

Ketan:nope u r the best with that he said with his eyes closed enjoying the moment .

Ashish: avni he said

Avni turned around while ketan opened his eyes and turned his face to see ashish standing at the bottom of the stairs looking at them

Avni: haan ?

Ashish: beta u must be tired y dont u sleep

Avni: papa woh...chachu had a headache so I was giving him massage she said

Ashish: dw hetal is there na she will give him a massage and also he will take medicine u sleep he said looking at ketan who looked at him for a sec

Avni: arien dw about me...and whenever chachu gets a headache then I'm the only one who gives him a proper massage.

Ashish:but beta staying awake this late is not good

Avni:its not that late yet and besides me and chachu usually stay awake till late doing random things....u dont worry and go and sleep .

Ketan: avni its fine...bhai is right go and sleep

Avni: come on chachu we both know how your headache wont go soon until I give u my best massage so sit she said making him sit down while ashish just stared at them.

Ashish stood there watching  avni and ketan...avni was giving ketan a massage unaware that it was not helping him feel any better due to ashish popping up and he knew after this ashish will have a word with him later on 

Ketan: uhh avni listen go and sleep for now I'm also going to sleep otherwise your chachi will wake up and come down he said getting up and looked at ashish for a sec who was behind avni

Avni: r u sure ? I dont mind giving massage for a long time

Ketan:u gave this much  that is Enough... chal lets go and sleep now.

As avni turned she saw ashish still standing there

Avni:papa chalo u also sleep ashish smiled and nodded at avni...

Ashish waited for avni to approach near the stairs who was walking with ketan...as they neared avni walked up the stairs but before ketan could walk behind her ashish took that place giving ketan a look while ketan just didnt know how to react to his brother behaviour.

Once reaching near the stairs ketan room came

Avni:goodnight chachu she said moving to hug him and gave a kiss on the cheeks to which he didnt know how to react due to ashish standing right in front of him giving those looks.

Ketan: good night beta he said giving her a smile and moved to his room.

Avni turned to ashish

Ashish:shall we go

Avni nodded ....next ashish room came.

Avni:ok papa need to get out of this outfit now...good night

Ashish: goodnight he said smiling and was about to move forward thinking avni would hug him but instead she just smiled at him and turned to walk towards her bedroom

The smile on ashish face dropped he recalled how avni had hugged ketan and how she just smiled at him and left.

Ashish: so much love for ketan but what about for your own father avni he said into space.

Ketan entered his room and looked at a sleeping hetal... he covered her properly and went towards the balcony...the more he tried to make ashish understand the more he was complications it with his misunderstanding or more likely insecurity and he didnt know what to do and how to make ashish understand.

Precrap: avni: though everyone is special in my life but I would love to dedicate something to two special people...usually they say parents r a big support system for their children well let's say those lucky kids r who have an amazing family and I feel I'm lucky too

Neela smiled...ashish was happy hearing avni say that
