It was a new day for Avni , yet it was the same old routine just the change being her going to office .

she quickly dressed herself in simple yet casual clothes and headed to breakfast table.

Everyone except one was delighted today and most of the food prepared today was of Avni's taste.

while settling down on the chair.

Avni- morning everyone!(with cheerfulness in her tone)

Ashish - morning rockstar! so how was your sleep. Hope you had a good sleep.

Avni - yes paa! infact seems I overslept.

riya-(sarcastically) yea yea! sleeping for 6 hours is oversleeping you know dadi.

aman- (joining Riya in) yo! just imagine those dark circles bro!!(to instigate riya more)

Avni- for me it's enough and those are not dark circles . They are from the punishment of the whole week rest.

dwm-ok! now stop let's eat and ya I want everyone to eat properly. No ity bity food.

Now that was the point which made Riya and Aman smirk while Ashish shook his head as if he can't help and avni looked as if she's been summoned.

Hetal and maids helped everyone with the breakfast and started to eat.

Avni just looked like ghost eyeing the content of the food in her plate. She gulped and

Avni-isn't it too much for one person to eat?

she still was engaged in the plate to even look at anyone in particular.

Ketan-(smirking a bit) it's love beta! For all the time you weren't here ,..... let's say love with interest. It's great na?

Avni-(narrow eyes) isn't it not fair with me chugs?(Ketan) and off lately you are looking too much thin it seems you need this and I will take that plate of yours.

now it was Avni who was smirking and Ketan who just choked his food.

Aman and Riya giggling in between.

Avni was about to exchange when....mogambo of the house said

dwm- just don't even try to touch ketan's plate as you are gonna eat what is been served to you and without you finish it completely you wouldn't go to office.

Avni who was smirking lost her smirk like a deflated balloon.

Avni quietly sat beside Ashish and started eating.
She didn't even had completed her quarter food when she was food.But a look at members and she knew that she had to eat it all.

She forcefully started stuffing until she knew that now it can't be done. Now she knew that in order to leave she had to take a shortcut and so she just transferred one paratha to ashish's plate who was on call to even notice.

once the call ended Ashish looked towards his plate and frowned.

ashish- are ye paratha . meine to liya hi nhi tha..(he went into confusion)

But all looked at him as if how was that possible. Avni being the sole reason said a loud to calm him down.

Avni- are paa I only served you right when you were in the phone. You know I love serving you all. (Ashish first frowned but then by looking at Avni's plate he understood about the matter)

Being the best father daughter combo Ashish too joined in.

Ashish-(a bit of emotional act) Haan ! you know we all too missed you making us eat with your hands. Why don't you do that again.

Avni cheered up with that idea and immediately rose up from her chair and started to feed the food. Everyone in the daze had the food until it was Ayesha who just rose up and left the breakfast table.

Avni was off the track but soon bigb said.

dwm- I understand that you were overwhelmed with feeding us after so long but that would be vice versa as well...... (smirking) let me make it more clear

she took paratha with her dipped in curd and pushed the morsel in her mouth. Avni had no option then to chew and gulp it down.

Now she understood that the cat has already caught her mouth and now it's her mouth verses all . She practically did a summersault and looked at Ashish whose colour too was lost.

Avni-(fumbling) see....dadi... actually we agreed to my plate na so see it's all clear and now I can't literally have even air in my stomach or else it would blast. Please let me go.

dwm-(practically showing her white hairs) Ye baalo ko doop mein safed nhi kiya so......agli baar yaad rakhna mein tere baap ki maa hu and mujhe sab samajhta hai.

Avni and Ashish pouted while others had a great laugh at their expense.

soon Avni left as she wanted to meet Neela and then she would go to office.

Today was new and special for Avni in someway as somewhere even if she had burried those feelings deep down in her heart but at the same time she loved them to core and staying away was no less then a freedom day.

Even though her stomach ached but she was having a genuine smile on her face. She felt for the first time in these years that today was something different and since morning she was having some unusual calm and satisfaction.

she thinking about the same reached towards the ward.

she gently sat on the bed and took Neela's hand in hers .

Avni- (with a smile) aaj mein ma Mehta mansion se aa rhi hu. I know aap bohot khush ho and aaj mere paas bohot saari acchi bate hai batane ke liye.

With that she started stating everything and at the same time holding her hand as if she would slip away.Finally when she was crowded by her own emotions she uttered the most important thing which she did whenever she broke down or needed her the most

Avni-(with tears in her eyes) mein uthne ko nhi kahungi aapko but ye jarur ki aapki jarurat hai mujhe. I just want to hug you tight and let everything aside. Aaj mujhe aapse sun na hai ki if you are proud or not. I know you can hear me out but aaj mujhe sun na hai aur aapko dikhana hai. Please ek baar bas ek baar is neend se uth jao mein pakka aur kuch nhi bolungi. I swear ,but maa I need you, Neil needs you , Shweta aunty needs you, paa needs you ......... she hugged her even if that meant hurting her own wound than too. she stayed and then composing herself she left to office.

just as she entered the office everyone started to greet her.

she came across Neil as well.

Neil- good morning maam(with a smirk)

avni-(raising her eyebrows) oh!...so we are maintaining a cordial relationship is it.? well than good morning to you as well Mr. Neil.

Neil exactly knew that this would surely get her on the nerves and this was just to irritate her.

Avni -  so it seems you aren't that busy as of for today?

Neil-(with the same smirk) who says so maam? Life of an employee is never that easy...you will find him always busy or else on leave but never a happy one. Nevermind I have a meeting with sir and if you please get me to him on time .

Avni-(rolling her eyes) fine as if I wanted to keep you standing the entire day.

with that she started walking towards ashish's room.Actually the interior build up was such that Ketan and Ashish always opted for same space together and so it was neither ashish's nor of ketan's. It was theirs.

she soon reached there and Ashish being asked her to come in. Ketan too was there and looked up to see the visitors.

Ketan- are champ welcome to Mehta and sons.(controlling his laugh) Would you like to have some food, shall I order?

At this Avni just glared and Ashish had to step in between

Ashish- Ketan!

Ketan-(pout) Bhai you know what you are always by her side so no fun at all. It's best to have Riya and Aman atleast they would have been my side.

Ashish-(shakes his head at his childish behaviour) ok! so let's start. Avni which company do you want to handle as for now we have this infostyle with us wanting to know about us which is also supervised by neil.

Avni- dad give me any company as I need to be occupied or else I will go mad.

Ketan- seriously, here people opt to go on leave and here you want work!

Neil- seems some are exactly opposite sir.

Avni- and those are some of the rare people to inform you.

Ketan- ok fine now as we need this company completely to come up at a better position can we discuss our strategy?

Avni- I thought you would never ask but atleast you asked great.

With that all sat and discussed their strategy to get the company with them. Avni came up with some refreshing elements which everyone agreed .

once done Avni was just sitting on the couch with some of the file , while ketan and Ashish went for a meeting.

So practically it was Neil and Avni working in the cabin .

Neil looked up at her only to see her busy.

Neil- so you are looking all healthy as if nothing happened.

Avni who heard him closed her eyes and the pented up frustration go spilled on him.

Avni- what does everyone think haan? I am good , fine and. healthy. Thoda sa hi laga tha but nhi sab ko yehi puchna hai ki barabar ho na?

I mean kisiko bhi dekh ke pata chalega ki I am fit and fine but nhi vo karan ko na mein..... ek hafta ! pura week ab mujhe vo overhealthy and oily food vo bhi thus ke khana hoga.

Na mein chain se jaag sakti hu and na hi kahi ja sakti hu. Ek baar mein theek ho gyi na to..

before she could continue.

Neil-(surprised) ok! fine I won't ask you about your health just stop before you gather the employees and they get any wrong impression.

With this Avni calmed down a bit.

Neil- waise I think you are much more healthy then before .... look at you kitna chilati ho tum.

Avni-(narrowed eyes) mein ek police wali hu chilaungi nhi to kya lori gaungi?

Neil-(with the same attitude) Haan but itna to pata hoga na ki abhi ye police station nhi hai office hai jaha nanhe munhe bache kaam karte hai . faltu mein dara dia.

Avni-you know what....

Neil- what?

Avni- just do your work and let me do mine!

Neil-as if I stopped you?

with this short chit chat they went back to their works.

soon it was lunch break and yet Ashish and Ketan didn't came. Avni was waiting for them.

As Avni was in office hetal specially with diksha came to feed her.

hetal- how are you my baccha?(while entering)

Avni just closed her eyes and was counting so that she stay calm. Neil was looking with a muffled giggle.

Avni- I am the same as I came chachi. How come you here, missing chugs?(smirking)

diksha-(with a smirk) seems you are wrong baby, she's here to feed you. Maa told me about your breakfast incident and so I had to come all the way here to feed you.

Avni-(with a pout) you know what bu...I thought that off all you would understand me but no you got me food. I already was so much full to burst out and here you got me food. I have had enough food for entire day of mine .(dramatically) please leave me for god sake.

Neil was enjoying this rare side of Avni which he didn't saw till now.

diksha-(wiping imaginary tears) oh my sweetheart! is it like that(Avni nodded) Then I will personally have to feed you as no such blackmail will be working baby!(with a strict face )

Avni went silent and set there with a pout until she saw Neil laughing hard .

Avni- are then take Neil as well, see how hard he's been working and it's not good to leave him during lunch.....come neil please join us.

now Neil was like he saw a ghost.

Neil-uhm...hnmm..haa I have my tiffin...u continue I will have it later.

hetal-offo this kids. .... get up and come here you have to eat.

now it was Avni who was smirking and Neil looking pale. He got up and slowly sat on the couch.Hetal had already started making the plate and all the protest was going in deaf ears.

diksha-now stop! both of you eat this all and no more voice. Both like an obedient child followed eating.

It was only half way through the lunch when Ashish gave call to diksha.Diksha answered and the her eyes were in tears.Avni saw that and immediately got up and hugged her.

Avni- what happened bua....? Who called ? who is on the line?

By the time Neil had taken the phone and saw the call and held it to his ears.

He heard and kept it away only to meet the scrutinized gaze of avni and hetal.

Neil- Neela aunty....

Avni-(in full alert mode) maa!! what?? what has happened speak up Neil?

hetal- kya hua hai Neil?

neil- Neela aunty.

diksha-ko hosh aa gya hai!

Hetal was really happy and so was diksha. Neil too thought that Avni would be happy but her face was just showing shock and pain.... pain which was now unbearable but still she was silent.

All were so happy that they reached hospital and asked them to come.

Avni - aap jaiye mein aati hu!

diksha-(cupping her face) what happened aren't you happy that she is now awake and you can speak to her and take her wherever you wanted?

avni-(who didn't even shed a tear) I am happy bua just that I will come in sometime....please!!

Diksha thought of it to be the shock and so asked Neil to get her to hospital while they left.

Well after a long time but a curfew with an update would never harm right
