It has been bothering her since last night that why that person whom she thought to be the dearest to her, her own Bebe reacted in such an unbelieving manner to her. There was surely some missing link that she has to find out. She also heard Bebe suggesting Neil to adopt Mishti by law to give her a better life. Avni clearly saw how uncomfortable Bebe was when she told this to Neil. What was she hiding from her? She managed to ask her this too. But, she didn't open up.

Avni was going through all these thoughts and the recent happenings when she heard Neil shouting in anger. She rushed downstairs to see what was happening. Neil was screaming out his lungs to Bebe in the presence of Juhi.

Neil: Bebe! You should have thought once before you spilled out those words!

Bebe: Tillu.. Main..

Neil: NAHI! I don't want a discussion over this matter now! I have obeyed you always Bebe. This time, what you demand from me is over the top. Neil Khanna would breath his last before doing this...

Avni: NEIL! Are you out of your senses? What are you saying?

Neil was shocked to see Avni there. But, she has not heard Bebe's words for sure. Neil didn't bother to answer anybody and stormed to his room with a bewildered Avni rushing behind him. Avni tried to talk to him in the room. She could sense he was hurt.

Neil: Leave me alone Avni. I will be fine after sometime. Don't bother me like this. I don't want to share anything!

Avni suddenly felt tears in her eyes. He has never been this rude to her.

Avni: Sorry. I thought you need me now. Take care...

He grabbed her hand and pulled her to him when she turned to go. She looked up at her own Neil who was visibly shaken up this time. Neil slowly engulfed her into a hug. Avni rubbed his back up and down to calm him.

Avni: Its okay.. Everything is okay.

Neil: Hmm..

Avni: You should talk to Bebe. She must be hurt equally whatever be the reason.

Neil: Hmm. I will just be back. I will talk to her.

Neil went out to meet Bebe while Avni started to clear up the mess he was created in his anger. Suddenly, she saw Neil coming to the room and held her by shoulders.

Avni: Solved so soon?

Neil: Avni. Do you trust me?

Avni: Yes. More than anything or anyone.

Neil: Whatever decision I take, there would be a reason behind that. You know that right? Even if that decision may hurt you, will you stand by me?

Avni: You are scaring me. Still, Yes.

Neil: Then come with me.

Avni silently followed Neil. She questioningly looked at Neil when he stopped in front of Juhi's room. He knocked on the room and the door flung open.

Juhi: Neil..

Neil: May we come in?

Juhi: Yes. Why do you even ask? Come in.

Neil went inside with Avni and sat on the bed. Juhi sat opposite them on a chair.

Neil: Juhi. We have come here to talk something very important. Its a fact that Mishti is our daughter. I really don't have any problem in accepting in front of the world that she is my daughter. But, that won't let me take her father's place in all aspects. When Bebe first told about adopting Mishti, I didn't give it a secone thought since I was worried about how my married life would be affected by this. Juhi's face lightened up and Neil didn't fail to notice that. She looked at Neil expectantly while Avni stood clueless about what has he decided.

Neil: that I will adopt Mishti. In fact, me and Avni will adopt Mishti. Officially, we will be her parents, for the sake of low. Let her be the daughter of a married couple. Par haa you will always be her mother. She will call you mom. Only you!

Avni was left in shock. Not that she has a problem with this decision. But, he didn't even discuss this with her. Thats so unlike of Neil! What's going on? Neil looked at her in an assuring way asking her to calm down. She smiled and nodded realising there is surely something more to the story. Juhi's face reflected multiple emotions from shock, anger and strict disapproval.

Juhi: Neil! How can you decide that by your own?

Neil: Why not? She is my daughter.

Juhi: Not just yours. She is my daughter too.

Neil: Yeah. But you yourself agreed upon me adopting Mishti when Bebe told me that. So what's the problem now?

Juhi: Neil. I want you to give her father's name. But, you can't snatch my rights of being her mother.

Avni: Who is snatching away that Juhi? Its just a matter of official records.

Avni felt silent while Neil clenched his fists.

Neil: And thats her husband. Let me remind you!

Juhi could sense his blazing anger. Still, she chose to not let this happen.

Juhi: Neil. This is not right.

Neil: Mishti will be a legitimate daughter of a married couple. You should be happy for her. I'm not asking you to move away from my life with Mishti. I'm ready to take her responsibility yaar.

Juhi: I won't agree Neil! She is my daughter!

Neil stood up and shouted at the top of his lungs. The entire family soon gathered at the room's doorstep wondering what is happening.

Neil: Juhi! What the hell do you want? You want me to accept Mishti. I did.
You want me to give her love and shelter. I did. You want me to give her my surname. I am doing that. What do you expect me to do then?

Juhi: All these are true! But, I can't let Avni be her mother!

Neil: Why? Avni takes care of Mishti more than you do. Thats a fact! She is my wife dammit!

Juhi: I am Mishti's Mother! Not HER!

Neil: What can I do for that? We need to sacrifice some things for Mishti's betterment!!! Why don't you understand?

Juhi: Neil! I can't sacrifice my motherhood!

Neil: Avni being my legally wedded wife will be the mother of my children. What can be done for that!?

Juhi: Then DIVORCE HER AND MARRY ME! Let Mishti grow up with her real parents! You don't have children from Avni to worry upon. Forget children! You don't even have a physical relationship with her!! I can't let my daughter being mothered by an illegitimate woman!

That was enough! The damage was done. Before she could realise what spilled out of her mouth, Neil fiercely raised his hands out to slap her which was stopped by a screaming Avni.

Neil: You ungrateful woman! You are ready to ruin the life of that person who risked her life to rescue your daughter. I wanted to hear truth from your filthy tongue Juhi! I can't believe I loved you once!

Swetha: You want Neil to marry you Juhi? Are you not ashamed? What about Avni then?

Neil: I had doubts on you when Bebe asked me to marry Juhi today morning. She would never say that at all! I heard you blackmailing Bebe with Kareena's life. And don't worry Bebe! Maddy bua and Kareena are safe with my team. If you told me earlier, then I would have rescued them much before. You don't trust me enough for that?

Bebe broke down uncontrollably. She was relieved at this turn of events. But regretted on not trusting her Tillu.

Bebe: Mujhe maaf kar de Tillu.. I was so scared. Main.. I have to tell you something else too. Mishti is not your daughter!

Everybody stood there bewildered at Bebe's revelation of Mishti being Juhi and Vidyut's daughter. Avni looked at Neil who was standing strong but was breaking up into pieces within. She slided her hands over to his face and wiped off a tear ready to fall down.
Juhi shivered at what she was about to face. Neil turned to her with b
anger boiling inside him.

Neil: So, you love me. You want to win me back. Like this? You are not that woman whom I fell in love with. Do you even realise the depth of your lie? Do you understand that it could have uprooted my entire life? I could have lost Avni! I could have lost her dammit!! I believed you without even bothering to question you. It was because of my trust on you. But you! YOU MADE A FOOL OUT OF ME!!

Prakash: Neil! Calm down!

Neil: Dad! Please call DD here. She doesn't deserve even sympathy Dad! She will face the law for teaming up with Vidyut to mislead the police!

Neil(turned to Juhi): You and Vidyut Ragini Pandit will be her parents. I will see what can I do for that. Mishti will lead a happy life ahead. Both of you will be under arrest if anything happens to her. I hope its clear.

Neil went alarmingly close to her scaring the hell out of her and murmered.."Get out".

It was a long day and everyone moved to their rooms. Peace endowed upon them after so many long days. Neil pulled Avni into a tight hug and slept beside her. Avni could see tear stains on his face. She snuggled closer to him and drifted off to a relaxed sleep.

Neil: Avni...

Avni: I love you...

Neil: I know. But I love you more...
