Half an hour later,

Neil and Avni went down and were greeted with red wine because of jon. He cleared his throat and said, "I am looking forward to a meal prepared by you two,and thank you, now I can spend some quality time with Martha while you are busy in the kitchen". He then laughed at his own joke.

Martha showed them the kitchen and gave them all the ingredients neil needed for cooking his Pasta dish and then she left the two love birds alone.

Neil took the two aprons hanging on the wall. He tied one on himself and lovingly placed the other on avni's neck. She began to turn around for him to tie it behind her, but he stopped her with a mischievous glint in his eyes and hugged her on the pretext of tying the apron. She gave him a little shove and said, " get back to work Mr. Khanna"

Neil was busy in kneading the flour and egg to make a dough for the pasta, while Avni was chopping the vegetables the self proclaimed "chef" would've required. Full concencentration at task in hand.

Neil took some flour and blew it on her face.

She warningly looked and pointed her knife at neil and rebuked him with a mild "Neil!!".

He laughed at her reaction, the knife at his face.

She took a fistful of flour in her hand and as she was raising the her hand from the container, a strong grip stopped her and Neil said, " inka kitchen humne kharab kardiya na, to ye hume thand me bahar phek denge".

She unclenched her fist, and told him, "thik hai, kaam karo apna, no distractions"

He raised his eyebrows and replied, " head chef mein hu madam, I don't take orders" and finally leftvher hand

"Accha" she said and quickly applied whatever little flour was left on her hand on his cheek.

Staring widely at her, he pulled her closer, in a fraction of second, and rubbed his flour covered cheek on her.

"NEIL!!!" she shrieked this time,

While neil simply said, " always remember who is the boss".

Hearing the shriek, martha came running and saw them like that flour covered and in each others embrace and started laughing.

Embarrassed, avni and neil decided to just concentrate on the meal to prepare.

Dinner was a hearty affair. Neil told martha how she reminded him of his bebe and then showed them their family photos while jon and martha showed them their 50 year old wedding album.

After the dinner, the older couple thanked them for the delicious dinner and retired for the night, not before jon passed a wine bottle to avni and said with a wink, "use it wisely, my dear".

Avni and Neil took their wine glasses and sat down on the porch discussing about this unexpected day. And watched the torrential rain mixed with hail pour down incessantly.

That was the fifth and the sixtg part. most of you did guess correct ,they are stuck in habkern. I wanted to have a trivial fight scene between our couple. very normal and funny. so a little bit bickering .

isn't martha sweet. I actually had met a martha in Switzerland and that character is based on her. n

How did you find these parts? Were the fluffy enough? Do you want some specific thing for them in Switzerland. Do let me know. I'd try and incorporate it in the story.
