Everyone gathered for Vidyut and Avni's haldi ceremony. The haldi ceremony was organized at their garden. Men were mostly in yellow-white kurta pajamas and Women were mostly in yellow-white saree, salwar, lehenga etc.
Ali and Neil were moving around checking arrangement. Ali was happy but Neil was sad.
Though Neil was fully helping there in the venue, but his mind was elsewhere. Vidyut was there sitting.

Vidyut and Avni's haldi was supposed to held together as Vidyut didn't had anyone who will organize the ceremonies, so Avni asked Neela to keep there ceremonies together.

After sometimes Avni came with Neela and some of her friends.

Vidyut looked at her and gave a smile, Avni shyly smiled back looking at Vidyut.
Neil was at the other corner helping but when he saw Avni coming he stopped, he kept looking at Avni smilingly. He was totally taken aback. He was lost in her eyes. But then Ali kept calling him and he came back to sense and then left as he called him.

After a few minutes Avni and Vidyut sat together. Vidyut hugged Avni and tried to be intimate with her. He was trying to kiss her on her lips.

Avni: (Shyly) Vidyut kya kar rahe ho

Vidyut: Apne sweetheart ko kiss kar raha hoon

Avni: Aare vidyut abhi nahi please sab dekh rahe hai

Vidyut: Toh kya faarak parta hai baby it's just a kiss

He all most captured her lips but..........
Neil as he came, he saw them and noticed this, and understood what was happening.

Avni: Yaa. But. Vidyut please maan jaao vidyut. Abhi haldi hai. Khatam ho jaane do usske baad kiss kar lena. Please

Vidyut: No sweety

He again tried to kiss her. She was now uncomfortable because he was continuously trying to kiss her. Neil noticed that she was uncomfortable.

Avni: Vidyut baache hai yaha pe. Unnke parents kya socheng

Vidyut: I don't care. I will kiss you right now and that's it. Come on

Avni: Vidyut par

She didn't say much but inside she was very much uncomfortable, she was looking right and left. Neil noticed that now she was not comfortable at all and was feeling bad.

Vidyut almost kissed her but in nick of time, Neil jumped there and sat beside them. Stopping there kiss.
Avni was relived and Vidyut was angry.

Neil started talking with them and most of which he said was unnecessary thing's maybe it was not needed also to say like he said- if horse and donkey would fight then who will win, why haldi is yellow in colour etc etc. just to forbid the kiss.
Vidyut was frustrated but Avni was now completely relived and comfortable. She was smiling and laughing at his stupid questions, Neil was also happy looking her smiling.

And Neela bought the haldi bowl. Everyone now gathered as the ceremony was going to start. But as she was walking towards them with the bowl in her hand suddenly ponnu came running towards Neela with full speed and passed through her leg. Due to which she lost her balance and the haldi bowl fell down on the ground.

But some amount of haldi fell on Avni's cheek but what was shocking was that little amount of haldi fell on Neil's cheek too. Ponnu looks at Neil and Avni and shakes his tail.
All got shocked including the guest, Avni, Neela, Ali, Avni's friends. Vidyut was angry and frustrated and Neil was shocked but then he holds his cheek and looks at the haldi which now was on his palm too then looks at Avni and then ponnu confused.

Vidyut: Yeah kutta! Yeah kutta hamesha mera din kharab kar deta hai, aaj toh mai iss khutte ko maar dalunga

Ali: Vidyut shaant ho jaao

Avni: Haan vid

Vidyut: Avni aaj mujhe math rokna. Dekha nahi issne kya kiya. Issko kachre mein kahi fek ke aayo abhi

Vidyut: Avni suna nahi maine kya kaha. Dekha nahi issne kya kiya. Avni haldi lag gaya tumhe aur iss Neil ko. Woh bhi meri jagah, sirf iss kutte ki wajhe se. Aagar haldi tum dono ko hi lagna tha toh mai yaha kyu aaya. Yeah kutta

Vidyut picks up one large stone and goes to hit ponnu.

Neela: Vidyut......... vidyut rukh jaao kya kar rahe ho yeah. Avni roko isse

Just as he was about to hit the stone on ponnu's head. Neil holds his hand from behind. Vidyut looks at him angrily.
