Once again, I woke up, holding Petra's hand.

Maybe it was time to go home. Just for awhile.

I scooped Reuben up and gently squeezed Petra's hand. "I'll be right back, okay?" I told her and nodded to Olivia, who was holding hands with Axel and judging by the amount of popcorn on the floor, they were watching a horror movie. 

Olivia grinned and held up two fingers, a sign to say goodbye, which we made up in 5th grade. 

I glanced at Petra and closed the door.
